Like many we are deliberating about getting a motorhome and to date definitely want less than 6m, no fixed bed and like the rear kitchen idea with lounge behind the cabin.
Decent fixed rear bed seems rare on these sizes, and drop downs im told are unreliable? So many seem to be twin bed, or need the bed making up every night. Often feels like the younger buyer isn't really catered for. Swift escape looks like a promising offer though, with a decent garage, but would rip out the microwave oven and have more cupboard space. Looking forward to getting back to van trips now!
I was always adamant that I didn't want to make a bed up. But honestly, it's not so bad. Dropdowns are fine- but avoid electric- too much battery drain if you want to stay off-grid. Having said that, we don't use the drop-down in our Swift Escape... we make the rear bed up as it's bigger and better for the dog... WHY are we choosing our sleeping arrangements based on the dog!!?????
@@WanderingBird Thats what dogs do to you! Didn't realise there were manual drop downs. Probably sticking with the fixed bed though - a recent encounter with dodgy seafood clarified the benefit of being able to curl up without taking over the whole van for the day...(TMI?)
the ones with manual winders are ok. by the time youve finished winding it down you are certainly ready for bed lol...fixed bed rob too much wakaround space
We were thinking about the Elddis 120. Payload looks good but we weren't sure if there was enough space for storage if under the seats was full of batteries, heaters and water tanks. What's your opinion?
Good video. I went for the T (rather thanV) 60 in the end. Great value. You forgot to show the excellently designed swing shower wall in the Sunlight 😉
Hi there, found your channel today and love it. Thinking of getting a motorhome in 2 years when I retire and am inspired by so your videos. Thank you so much. From a new fan 😁
I went for a 6m.... the Accordo 105 Prestige....absolutely love it x
I like the second one best with the end kitchen.

The last one similar to my swift Sundance 580pr.

Dont worry, everything is temporary,
God is by our side, good day to everyone and stay safe
That would be the same god that created the Covid-19 virus?

Did you miss the oven on the last one?
9:54 no chicken dance in the shower :( . LOL
A terrible omission- sorry! ;)
