thank you :) the subscribers will come, i guess... but if you have friends who might like the channel, please, send them the video. nothing beats word of mouth! :)
thank you kindly. i'll try to put more videos in 2024, both reviews of albums from different eras and genres and several longer, in depth videos. and shorts, too. hopefully you'll all like the variety :)
@@tojorozombie thank you very much! :) can i ask you what you liked most? it comes handy to see if i can repeat the excellent stuff in other videos and leave the ok stuff behind ;) ps: make sure to watch the continuation of Lol's story. i honestly found it really inspiring. :)
thank you very much for the kind words :) any support is very welcomed, i would love to make this a full time occupation and i could never do it without music lovers' help :)
no, mate, i am proud that my word convinced 848 people to subscribe! please spread the words and take a look at the other videos. if there's something you want me to cover, i'm still at the stage that i can consider individual requests :)
I have hear a old interview with Simon from around 1994 I think and he discusses the bullying that he received from Lol, always calling him names and saying that he was a wimp, doing nasty things to him like unplugging his guitar, not even funny stuff, just nasty. Apparently one day he started on Simon again and this time it was a full on physical altercation. Lol was not always very nice and was more interested in the money and alcohol than anything else.
mmmmh... obviosuly we weren't there and we don't know. and just as obviously, tolhurst wasn't an innocent flowers thrown in the dirt. on the other hand, i don't trust any interview from any of the party involved from the early 1990s to at least 1998. it's sad to say, but there was *a lot* of slander going on. if half of what i've read myself was true, the restoration of peace years later just makes no sense. :)
i wasn't there, but that's the average reported in the book "never enough" :D to be fair, though, it must not have been just them. there might have been some girlfriend. perhaps the studio staff helped, too. still... if it's true, it's really wild. and that's an average, mind!
well, the channel is not specifically about the cure... but there's nothing wrong with being a hardcore fan! :D there are much worse addictions out there ;)
i can't promise a lot of video about the cure, though. there's part 2 already written, but after that... you have to make a noise for me to do more :) this wants to be a vhannel woth a broad focus, after all. thanks for the subscription, i really do appreciate it :) ps: what other bands or eras you want me to cover?
I think perhaps the people with the greatest sense of beauty in their broken lives drink like that. They want their perceptions to have the same beautiy that they somehow expect this world to have, in spite of it's actual terrible cruelties. Or at least that's how l felt back when l used to drink like that.
i already know ths story and i'm still on the edge of my seat, crazy to me you dont have 1,000 subscribers yet
thank you :)

I was really hoping Lol would rejoin after the Reflections shows or at least collaborate with Robert on a song.
it would've been interesting to see them collaborate, but i guess that time has gone, for good or bad. :)
i should not comment on this channel i was addicted to the cure i never looked into their life.
