It was so good for pounding that tightness Denise. So good 😁 We are still debating whether this is the best hydropool we've been to on any cruise ship so far. Have a lovely day and cheers. Linzi and Mark 🥂
Thank you Lisa, and we are so happy you are enjoying the channel and our content. We are sure you and your husband will really enjoy the Enclave and The Sanctuary. Please come back and let us know what you thought after your cruise on Royal. Linzi and Mark
Well done! We believe we'll have to check out The Sanctuary & Enclave on our upcoming cruise. We were not sure what it was when we'd pass it on prior cruises but you open our eyes and it looks like heaven!
Thank you Joann. We are sure you'll love both the Sanctuary and Enclave if you get chance to try them. They are so relaxing. Have a lovely day. Linzi and Mark
I do think the Sanctuary on this class of Princess ship is absolutely fantastic - very similar to the Retreat on P&O. The only catch is that it's mostly (or all) outdoors - lovely on a warm weather route, but a bit of a waste on colder days!
Completely agree Fraser. Sanctuary was much nicer on Enchanted compared to Regal (not that Regal was bad). We bought the full cruise pass on Regal and 50% of the time it was unusable due to the bad weather. It would be so much better if on future cruise ships they could make the roof retractable so it can be used whatever the weather. Linzi and Mark
We love the sanctuary but came upon an issue on our current cruise. We are well aware you cant reserve until after you board. On this cruise we were the 6th couple in line to reserve and they told us that all spots were reserved for the entire 11 days. It was obvious that the back to back cruisers had the ability to reserve before we even boarded the boat. One plus is management was willing to listen and said changes are coming.
We’ve head that a few times now which is a big concern. We’ve never understood why they insist on still doing it this way and fingers crossed changes for booking the sanctuary do come because we always end up sprinting up there when we get on and we’ve had similar challenges ourselves.
Hi David, You book it at the Sanctuary entrance itself, which is near the retreat pool. If you do want to book it, try and head straight there when you get on as it often sells out (depending on the itinerary). Linzi and Mark
@@SuiteNatured Thanks both. I understand its the same for the Crown Grill, i think ill go one way and the wife can go the other. Its our first time cruising so your videos have been so helpful. We are just at the end of this video and you mention booking the Spa online, do you mean on the medallion app?
Hi David, you should be able to book the Crown Grill before you get on board via app. If not, just head there either after Sanctuary, or as you said split off and do it, you should have no issue getting in to CG if you do this the first day. It will be the same for Sabatinis if you are thinking about trying there too. For the Spa Hydrotherapy suite, then you can just head to the Spa entrance and book it on the first day, the worse or colder the weather, the busier the Hydrotherapy suite tends to get. On our last cruise, as you say, because it was so warm, it was very quiet. If memory recalls correctly, you can book the hydro suite via the app before the cruise, but only for full cruise access, not individual days, but it is cheaper (around £30 per couple per day). Have an amazing cruise, and let us know how you got on, and what you thought of the Sanctuary and Spa when you get back. Linzi & Marj
Spa is very noisy! Unbelievable! You can not relax there! I never see spa like this. Just came back from this cruise… Place where you suppose to relax is very loud and wet… ohhh(
Hi Natalya, it is definitely not a quiet reflection type spa. We loved it, but we were not looking for that type at that time, although The Sanctuary on Princess in more like that we guess. When we went, it was still fairly quiet people wise, but you cannot disguise the water jets in the hydro pool. Linzi & Mark
Hi we did the spa during a very rainy Alaska cruise! It was the very BEST thing we did on the Discovery as we were chilled to the bone! We took our wet towels, placed them on the chaises and both of us fell into a deep sleep for over an hr., now that's a real vacation! 5:26 😅
There is the Sanctuary which you can have Spa treatments in such as a massage,.there are no Hydrotherapy pools or saunas and there is the Spa and Enclave (which has the hydro pools, steam rooms and saunas). Both are seperate and charge applies for both. Hope this helps. Linzi and Mark
Oh my goodness, the thalassotherapy pool looks divine ! SO perfect for pounding tightness from ones shoulders with those terrific streams of water !!
It was so good for pounding that tightness Denise. So good 😁

Oh my goodness I absolutely adore y’all! I just found this channel and instantly subscribed. So cute 💕
Thank you so much AJ ❤️

No kids doing cannonballs.
Worth every single dime.
100% agree Jolene :)
Hi, can I ask, where do book the Sanctuary when you get on board.
