Is there much of a difference between a mini suite and the Reserve collection mini suite? There is a significant price difference for the same sailing, but it doesn't appear to be much more for the price you're being charged.
The three direct benefits are location on the ship (some like being closer to amenities like the dome, fitness and pool), dedicated dining room without a wait, and priority specialty dining reservations. Wine on arrival, and upgraded bathrobes are just ok. We find the reserve mini suites are around 15-20% more. We guess it's a personal decision for your budget, what your priorities are and the length/destinations of your cruise (ie how much you'd be using these things).
No Way! This is hilarious. I'm literally on the Cruise Summary page on Princess's site and I selected 17411. now I literally knoow **EXACTLY** what Id be getting in this type of cabin. thank you for the very informative video!
Great vlog. The photo of the CPAP with the cord hung from the ceiling was our stateroom! My husband and I both caught it. We knew it was ours from the things we place on the front hall table, alarm clock on night stand and my CPAP model and the water. You must have seen it on my FB post. How cool! We did have a question. Is there a huge difference in the suite size between Sanctuary Reserve Mini Suite and regular mini suite? Or us it just the extra perks with same size stateroom?
They should be the same size. Just the amenities are different. That is cool about your cpap cord! Someone sent us that pic as a tip so thank you for sharing this. ❤️🙏🏻
I love Princess cruise line. I am a frequent cruiser and have been cruising on Celebrity, Princess, NCL, carnival etc. I am platinum on all. By far, Princess and Celebrity are our favorites.
We are not sure what you mean by suite only deck with a pool. Sanctuary Collection mini suite allows included access to the sanctuary which is a separate and exclusive pool area with cabanas available for an extra fee. We have a review of it on our channel. The pool in the sanctuary is normal size.
Another reviewer mentioned the sofa bed only sleeps 1 how do u request to make sure there’s a Pullman bed from the wall to ensure it sleeps 4 in the mini suite?
We suggest you double and triple check with princess! Like we mentioned in one of our videos, we met a family who booked for four and didn’t get a cabin for four. Eventually deck plans will probably come out online that show what rooms those are, but we haven’t been able to find them yet.
Just cannot understand why ppl still sailing with Princess, I just sailed last week for 19 nights, food is so bad, unless you pay extra for fine dinning which I did not. Will never sail on Sun Princess again or any new ship. Will stay with Celebrity or Holland America for sure. Bye bye Princess
LMAOOO you're hilarious. All of Holland America ships are made in Italy too so you might want to avoid those together with Carnival, Costa, Cunard, Disney, Explora, MSC, Norwegian, Oceania, P&O, Ponant, Regent, Seabourn, Silversea, Viking and Virgin. You know you might also wanna avoid Windstar since they had their ships cut in half and lengthened in Italy too, you know, just to be safe.

This tour was exactly what I've been looking for - we're in 17411 in October!
Prepared to be spoiled!
@@LuxuryTravelDocs Can't wait!

That was an excellent and informative cabin tour; thank you for sharing!
Oh thank you!
This is a beautiful mini suite. I like the warm colors. Enjoyed the tour!

Same for us! We like Seabourn too.
Great review! Hoping to get this upgrade for June 2024 cruise
Wow! Thank you. Are the reserve suites only on lido deck? I was going to bid on one but not if that’s the only location.
We think there are others on 9-17 and they are usually mid and mid forward (prime locations).
Thank you for the video. Did your Reserve Collection Mini Suite have access to both the port and starboard side of the private Cabana Deck?
No you need to have a designated cabana cabin for that.
Thank you for the wonderful info! Is the "Sanctuary Club" the same as the suite-only deck with a pool? also, is the suite-only pool a good size?

Hello, Thank you for the great video, we are in Cabin 17408 in July. Was the fitness center above you an issue from a noise perspective? Thanks again.
Surprisingly, not at all! You can see our review of the fitness center. The treadmills aren’t above the room is probably why.
I use their products which is how I noticed it. They are great.
Big upgrade for Princess!!!

You have Beekman 1802 spelled wrong
Aww too bad - can’t change it now, but thanks for pointing that out!

This is a bad Italian made ship, elevators already broken down less than a month. Food very bad, will stay with Celebrity or HAL for sure
