I’m puzzled at your #1 comment about extremely early payment requirement. My wife and I booked the Viking Danube Waltz cruise in Oct, for April 2 departure. We will be required to pay the full bill by the end of this month (November). That’s only a little over 4 months out. Is this maybe due to our late date of booking…does Viking require payment within a time period from the booking date, or is it a required time before departure?

Going in 13 days. Super excited!

Thanks very much. We'll be on this excursion in just over a fortnight's time. Can't wait. We were on the Arvia's sister ship the Iona last year. All spanking new and glitzy, but it was a wee too big for us, most evidently when we had to wait for a table for the MDR. Other than that, it was lovely.

Heading to Budapest on Saturday for a two day early extension. We booked our shelves on the river.. Leaving on Tuesday next week and heading to Regensburg. At that point we are traveling for a additional two weeks. Traveling by train. Ending in Paris and flying back to the states from there. Have really enjoyed reading all your vlogs. It’s our first cruise of any kind. Very excited.

I will be going in 2025. a few months ago we got back from our first Viking river cruise. We enjoyed it so much that we immediately booked the next cruise. We stayed in the explorer suite and we loved it.

I was on the Viking Jupiter earlier this year in the Med and loved the experience!

We watched him & also met him on Aurora in sept/ oct on our Canadian cruise. What a brilliant performer & such a lovely guy. Hoping to see him again on our upcoming cruises with P&O.

The Butchers Block has now moved locations to where the Crown Grill was. Crown Grill has moved to where the Reserve restaurant was.

This was very helpful for many reasons. We are relieved to find that the cruise was not just for older people. We were happy to see you out running. I plan do to the same! I backed the video up because my eye caught that Marine Corps Marathon jacket! (We have the same one!). I'm so happy to hear the wine was good. Just yesterday I googled the wine I saw on a menu in another video and found that the price per bottle was only around $5.00. I was very disappointed that a luxury cruise was serving such low budget wine. But, as my husband said, if it's good, that's all that matters. We are looking forward to our Rhine cruise a year from now.

Great vlog. The photo of the CPAP with the cord hung from the ceiling was our stateroom! My husband and I both caught it. We knew it was ours from the things we place on the front hall table, alarm clock on night stand and my CPAP model and the water. You must have seen it on my FB post. How cool! We did have a question. Is there a huge difference in the suite size between Sanctuary Reserve Mini Suite and regular mini suite? Or us it just the extra perks with same size stateroom?
