      That is the Input Speed Sensor on the Hyundai Elantra shop manual. Output Speed Sensor is at the back of the transmission near the rear motor mount.

    Hi, I bought these but that was not the issue. I am wondering how would someone go about replacing the harness these connectors go too?
    Thank you so much for having these videos and making life, in these stressful times, that much easier.

    My comment is a question. Are the speed sensors the exact same for manual and automatic? I have a 5 speed manual with a po501 code displayed on code reader. Thank much.

    The transmission on my 07 Hyundai Elantra goes into limp mode unexpectedly as I drive, and it will stay on first gear until I pull aside and let the transmission fluid temperature go down. Would a bad output speed sensor cause this?

    I have 2007 elantra and sensor is not in that spot. But my Elantra is manual so could that be reason for different spot and where could it be?

    • @wonderwalls3565
      @wonderwalls3565 2 года назад +1

      Yes, these sensors are for automatic transmission to sense the speed befoere changing the gears automatically. A manual may not have these at all.

    This is the input sensor, if you are getting a P0722 code for output speed sensor it is located under the air filter box on the back of the trans.
