Maintenance is essential to long equipment life. SO many people and companies defer the maintenance and then are surprised when the equipment fails. Thanks for the great video sir!
I love the smell of fresh hops. A local, now regional brewer here has a "hedge" of them at their beer garden and they planted a lot of them up in northern Michigan too.
I can't believe that this is the same place you just cut‼️ IT really grew up fast ‼️ IT looks like you've made yourself a new friend. And again, it's really a lot of work. IT would be awesome if you had a employee doing one side while you do the other. Enjoy the rest of your day 🙋🏽.
Just sitting in the cab operating a piece of equipment is easy, but the heavy lifting and shifting the heavy utensils, for lack of a better term, is back breaking if you don't know what you are doing. Be safe my friend.
I wanna do this for a living. My grandpa always told me, to ever make enough money to enjoy life, you gotta have a job you enjoy. I really enjoy heavy equipment, I love mowing, I like property work, seems impossible to get into. Everyone wants you to be experienced, but nobody wants to give you the time for experience.
You don't need experience you can practice on your own property, if you own some or have family that owns some, don't give up, I have my own company I do this kind of work and more
Man it grew back fast.... I bet you feel like it has never been cut before....maybe you should find a market to sell all that dog fennell you are cutting! (LOL)
Your Ole Buddy Snake Pond ! I can't believe how much that grew up since you cut it last time ! I bet all you could smell was cut up dog fennel ! Good job bro !!!
Seems like by the time you get to the end of it you have to go back to the beginning and start all over cuz it all grows back quicker than it did to cut it when I used to live up north on the Carolinas used to be like that get done cutting one side of the field and have to go back and cut the other side all over again because the crashes grew that damn quick
This is one of those jobs where it would be nice is they made a wheel attachment for this cutter that would allow you to put the mower all the way down on the ground and use the float function to allow the wheels to follow the ground. Maybe if you get a small battery powered fan and blew it on your gopro might help too to help blow some of the heat away.
51:42 What about periodically treating the rubber tracks with 303 Protectant or something , similar to keep the rubber supple and resisting , cracking .
And you have nice equipment your John Deere it is a nice skidsteer I wonder if they make an external oil cooler and high-flow hydraulic pump I know you can order them for the Kubota as a bolt on unit
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! Made it look easy! Quick question, did you ever go back to that lot where those bees buzzed you? If you didnt, i don't blame you. That place just looked evil! Best of luck with the beverage venture. 🍺🍺👍
You need to invest in a air compressor to blow out the machine instead of just a leaf blower it would work great for blowing out all the nooks and crannies on the machines. You could mount it in your truck or on your trailer along with a fuel tank.
Aren't you worry that there might be a ditch hiding under all that bush? I like the machine with the long extension because you can clean up the area in front of you so you can see if there's anything that can be dangerous. I'm just saying......
What kind of flow rate you got coming out of your exhilarating ports for your brush hog Seems like you can possibly turn it up some or maybe it's already at Max flow seems to me though that cutter shouldn't be bogging out so much especially in that Thicket style brush it's not like it's trees if you're not sure you might want to check out and see if you can get a higher flow rate
another great video but I dont understand why when you were going straight towards the pond you did not go just another couple of feet and get the edge of the pond better. made the job look unfinished too me.
Is there not a market in your area for the larger acreage a farmer to lease it for hay or crops of something. It seems like it would be beneficial to both parties. Either way done a great job cleaning all that up.
The way the weeds and grass or laying down I wonder if it's spinning backwards maybe two of the flow ports or backwards are the blades are super doll the units that was a weak flow rate seems like it should be cutting her better than that
Wow NO I’m not about snakes 🐍 most are helpful around gardens and farms... I understand that... it’s just I’m freaky about all snakes. Be careful working on pond areas please thank ya... giggles 🤭
I cant believe you only go forward and backwards and not side to side while going forward. You miss so much. If you back up 50 x and not cut anything, and it takes you about 30 seconds to back up each time, you're wasting 25 minutes NOT cutting anything. You should be cutting non stop.
I am in the Midwest and I'm interested in the industry. Do you charge per job, by the hour, or by the square foot? Hiw do yiu determine what works best for your time and machine? Email me if yiu don't want your rates out there. But yiu can definitely estimate round or down so the don't know your number.
A job that should have taken an hour or so and you turned it into an all day affair. Not to mention the fact that you missed so much that it looks like a 10 year old was in charge of driving
I’ve been on a tractor all day, bush hogging! And now I’m watching this! I need help!
No different than me getting up to mow my lawn and everyone else in the neighborhood suddenly mows theirs lol.
This camera positioned on the cab looking forward more than down is awesome. I enjoy watching your work. You do a fine job
Steady work is steady work don't complain about ending up at the same place appreciate that you have steady work cuz so many of us don't
Maintenance is essential to long equipment life. SO many people and companies defer the maintenance and then are surprised when the equipment fails. Thanks for the great video sir!
P
Thanks for showing the vines for beer so cool and keep the videos coming
wow... I remember when u first came here... u couldnt see 5 feet ahead of you....nice work u are doing
Snake pond maintenance is money in the bank. Good job
This was one of the best videos yet bud!
I love the smell of fresh hops. A local, now regional brewer here has a "hedge" of them at their beer garden and they planted a lot of them up in northern Michigan too.
Good to see the fence trimmed.
Really enjoy that positioning of your camera on the cab. So cool to see that cutter head clearing tall brush. Amazing!
Totally agree🥰
Nice harvest of weeds! A lot of chomping! A lot to clean out!
Hey! I just realised that you put so much effort just for one video and do the same over and over big respect from me keep the work up brother! 👍
Seems like a watershed area, hence the fast regrowth...
Just sitting in the cab operating a piece of equipment is easy, but the heavy lifting and shifting the heavy utensils, for lack of a better term, is back breaking if you don't know what you are doing. Be safe my friend.
Brush hogs are a huge time saver 👍👍

Watching this field being cut is totally taking my headache away. ❤✌
Get a flex head hose adapter for garden hose/pressure washer for those tight an hard to get places.
You are killing it man! 👊🏼🤘🏻
Thank you brother! Glad to see you're doing well also!
Hops grow well on a fence too.
Every time I see dirt fly I’m thinking “dam, fire ants”😮

I like it better when I see behind the mower. Great job 👏
This place seems to be a consistent income.
51:42 What about periodically treating the rubber tracks with 303 Protectant or something , similar to keep the rubber supple and resisting , cracking .
It would just be a waste of time. It doesn't matter if they crack
And you have nice equipment your John Deere it is a nice skidsteer I wonder if they make an external oil cooler and high-flow hydraulic pump I know you can order them for the Kubota as a bolt on unit

Watch those fire ant mounds go flying.
I love your show.

Snake pond. How many snakes did you see and chop up?
SALUDOS DIGIT4, ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO AS ALWAYS G.B.Y.
Aren't you worry that there might be a ditch hiding under all that bush? I like the machine with the long extension because you can clean up the area in front of you so you can see if there's anything that can be dangerous. I'm just saying......
A j-o-b that I would love to do - satisfying work.

Almost a full time job, trying to keep the bush down on this project. Washing down is a good fire suppression prevention.
another great video but I dont understand why when you were going straight towards the pond you did not go just another couple of feet and get the edge of the pond better. made the job look unfinished too me.
yeah they most probably dont need the space
This job might be work or just another day for you...but to me it looks like a pleasant way to spend a day! lol..
Yeah well it’s not a pleasant way to spend the day believe me
Man that pond is seriously low. Haven't u guys had rain either?
Is there not a market in your area for the larger acreage a farmer to lease it for hay or crops of something. It seems like it would be beneficial to both parties. Either way done a great job cleaning all that up.
Damn good machine
Very good job mate
The way the weeds and grass or laying down I wonder if it's spinning backwards maybe two of the flow ports or backwards are the blades are super doll the units that was a weak flow rate seems like it should be cutting her better than that
Great content. Got a question for IDigIt4 is that yalls solar farm? If so, I have a couple of questions about it.
It looks very nice. I know there are risks involved, but I'm sure this is not your first rodeo. Is very impressive! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Awersome, nice video
15 ft bat wing and 100hp tractor ....... done in an hour and bill the same
1st and the snake pond good times 😁
I would have to go over it, still looks like it needs to be mowed. Just me I guess. 👍🏻🇨🇱
Its still the best from tall hahaha
Only issue is you can't see what your cutting looks like until you go to the end
Those skidders are usually never powerful enough for these jobs
Great job Davin hops the only plant were there's male and female lol
I would have liked to see close cut to the fence edge and closer to the pond edge.
Do u have a drift or do u put the cutter all the way down on the skids or do u constantly have to a adjust for in level ground?
Why you call that pond, snake pond? There's so many snakes in that pond? I enjoying watching your vidios.
Looks good so far brother. I can’t believe how quick the pond banks grew back.
Are all these ponds that I see yourself and others working on /rebuilding/creating them for private fishing ie trout etc ?
Very nice 👍
Take care when engine gets hot special in summer
Hey just curious you said yours would be like the 331g , so if you was looking at a new one would you get the 331g or the 333g
Good video
Lol, time to clean and lube those connections.
Nice job
Brilliant 👍👍👍
Does your mower at home have track
Amen~!
Are you going to get am new one so if it breaks down you will have a otherone
Your gonna be worn out before you get to the job site.
How frustrating for you Chris.
What are you referring to when you use the term 'def'?
You should buy a ventrac
Why not go in circles go with the left side out cause it looks and sounds like it cuts a little better
Land sakes, what is a snake pond?
What’s the weight rating on your axles on your trailer?
What causes the occasional puffs of dirt, is it like rat dens or something?
Could be gopher, ant nest or just the terrain. The ground always shifts over time.
Too bad there isn’t a trimmer so you could get close to the edges.
Were do u get that cutter at...
Don't know why you didn't rent a batwing mower and tractor. you would get done 3 times faster
You might have lowered the hog to do a better job at delaying the regrowth of those bushes
Job security.
👍👍
How much for new blades
Wow NO I’m not about snakes 🐍 most are helpful around gardens and farms... I understand that... it’s just I’m freaky about all snakes. Be careful working on pond areas please thank ya... giggles 🤭
L 5 S 1 laminectomy in your future if you keep tugging Ike that … I know ! And that is a disabling surgery so go easy

Next time try getting someone to bail it for you salaf the Bales at about $6 a piece

Bush hogging it typically by the acre. Heavy brush cutting and mulching I do by the hour.
Job security
I didnt see any snakes
A job that should have taken an hour or so and you turned it into an all day affair. Not to mention the fact that you missed so much that it looks like a 10 year old was in charge of driving
Most annoying camera position, can't see anything but pushing weed with mower.
😴😴😴😴😴😴😴😴😴😴😴
