Im way late to this video but this song brings tears to my eye's. Have y'all ever wondered that before someone passes unexpectedly, if they have a sense its coming? My son and I always shared a love for music, we would have jam sessions and play music for each other and hang out. He pulled this song up and i heard that 1st part and told him Chris, No i cant do this one with you son. He moved onto another one. About 3 weeks later he died. A couple years ago, my husband and I went to see Aaron Lewis in concert and this overwhelming peace came over me and I finally felt Chris was at peace. The day he passed away he shared this video on Facebook of a harp guitar playing in the forest the song was Sound of silence. . Those 2 songs have always stayed with me. Not really sure why i shared this except to tell you give your loved ones a extra hug today. Hold on a little tighter and tell them that you love them.
I wasn’t at this show but I saw Aaron at Billy Bobs in Fort Worth last month. He is probably my all time favorite voice and a huge personality. Great show!
I’m telling you you have to listen to Kathy Mattea’s “where have you been”, it’s a tear jerker for sure. Romantic and one you have to listen to with your wife. Trust me, as life long country and folk listener!

Before cancer took hold of my body I was a 350 lb monster that could dead lift 500 and bench close the 600-lb and now I'm under 200 lb I can barely get myself out of bed

JUst saw Aaron in So San Diego County at Viejas CAsino. Just an incredible overall experience. Aaron was fantstic and the crowd was great too, before and after the show. An overall incredible experience. SO much so I came within an inch of flying to Fort Worth to catach that show. BTW, I agree about the crowds during certian songs, particularly They Call Me Doc. I HATE the screaming during that song.
I'm from Western Massachusetts, so I've seen Staind play live many, many, times before they became famous & also after they hit it big. I've also seen him 5x since he started his country journey. He has an extremely unique voice & puts on 1 hell of a show.

I've been an Aaron Lewis and Staind fan for years. He's got so much emotion pouring out of him. It just grips every part of you. This song is a personal favorite for me but I love his song epiphany. Another top artist would have to be Brent Smith from Shinedown. Idk if you're familiar with Smith and Myers but Brent and his guitarist which is also his best friend Zach Myers started an acoustic band on the side of their Shinedown gig. They started out covering some well known songs then eventually released a few they wrote. Bad at love has probably the most play, and I truly love that song cuz it describes me point on. But there is a song that I'm giving you the link to that crushes me while it lifts me up, personally it reminds me of my first love that killed himself. Only song ever that brings me to tears every time I hear it but also brings me joy. Yes he has an incredible voice , I seen him live once and I was incredible to see in person,his voice sounds the same or even better live then on studio song's. Another great singer with tons of rasp that can also sing clean is M. Shadows from A7X(avenged Sevenfold), especially on roman sky live at the Grammy Museum, it's incredible to hear .
I just seen him perform a little over a month ago at Billy Bob's in Fort Worth. He's sounds amazing live. He's a big talker though. Half the show was him talking about his political beliefs. That's not what I paid for. Also, people wouldn't be quiet. It was sometimes hard to hear him. But yeah, great voice, amazing singer.
