    Thank you for doing this - I have some lace-weight alpaca but it is too thin to be warm enough for me (I started a scarf but I swear I feel the need to dress up like an Eskimo), so I tore it out. Instead I am knitting a two ply using the alpaca and adding a lace-weight mohair yarn to it. Wish me luck! I am doing your pattern, so thanks again!

    I know this is an old video but can you explain what the first two numbers after 'row' mean? for example it says Row 4, 12. What does the 12 mean?

    • @alanar5788
      @alanar5788 9 месяцев назад

      I think it means number of stitches on that row. Or a typo

    • @jennyqiantd9497

    Really having a lot of trouble with row 15. I have counted it multiple times. I have stitch markers separating every fifteen stitches. The problem is that I run out of stitches too soon. The final CDD on row fifteen requires that you slip two stitches and knit into the third stitch. However, the stitches that are slipped are stitches number fourteen and fifteen. It's on the sixteenth stitch you would have to knit so you can clip the other two over. I really could use some help here. It doesn't add up like the other rows.

      Hi, BlackSeranna, first, make sure there are a multiple of 14 stitches plus 1 stitch on row 14 (in the video demo I am having 29 sts). On row 15, Ssk, then repeat stitches between ( ) multiple times, the last two stitches are k2tog instead of cdd. In my demo, ssk, p2, k3, yo, k1, yo, k3, p2, cdd, p2, k3, yo, k1, yo, k3, p2, k2tog.
      I've noticed that you are separating every 15 sts with stitch markers (instead of every 14 sts), make sure your cast on numbers are right. The correct number should be 29 sts (14*2+1), or 43 sts, or 57 sts, or 71 sts...
