im impressed by your knowledge and passion for shafts! i loved the way you handled your customers shaft with the utmost care and precision while efficiently working on the damaged tip until the job was finished!
HI
would love to see you make a video, showing us how your workshop is setup in detail!
Thanks for the Awesome vids! Keep up the good work man!!!
Interesting. Used to work for Argo in 2015. Their parent company Ontario Drive & Gear would've done those input shafts. 1st class facility.
Your channel is quality man! Hope it blows up. Thanks for showing that the magic doesn't always happen on the first go either.
Great RUclips Channel. Watched many of vids in the last 24 h. Really enjoyed it. Please keep up the good work.
Really enjoying your RUclips content.. Please keep up the good work.
My favorite part is the heavy breathing. Awesome video and fix. Thanks! Love watching this type of work with good explanation. Also. The multiple takes at the end was great affirmation that you hope we learned something.
He's very passionate about everyone learning something
Great video really enjoying watching them and your content it great look forward to the next video 👍👍
I love your content mate. I first came across your turbo manifold build and the amazing detail you put into the product and packaging!. The small things make such a difference. RUclips suggested this video which I absolutely love watching lathe work. The outtakes at the end had me laughing out loud because I do the exact same thing on my channel… I just wing it and get it wrong over and over until I get it right. Feels way more organic rather than writing it down and reading it out. I’ll be sure to keep watching all your future videos 😊
He loves making my job harder!
Reminder to fix the coolant on the lathe
Big thanks!
Awesome video! Just discovered your channel and love your content. Very knowledgeable and entertaining
Thanks man, appreciate it!
Im a 47yrs old and am a tool and die maker by trade, everything i do is cnc never do any manual work anymore. Love just watching you machine stuff brings me back to when I was younger running a bridgeport and south bend lathe. Do you have any formal machinist training?
Thanks! I worked at a machine shop for 2 years, but other than that no.
Nice work John!
Liked👍
But...did you learn something? 🤔
Hey, fix your dang coolant setup.
In general it's a better job to weld up the shaft, and turn it down. the work is about the same as this way.
Fix the coolant!
Hey - coolant. Fix it.
Coolant here... treat me like a pet and FIX ME! :D
🙏🙏🙏
@11:20 - you might feel that way, but... at least you have a manifold for that.
This got me 🤣🤣🤣
Of you don't mind me asking, what grade of steel did you use for the sleeve?
Not at all, it's just regular cold rolled steel
@@gleaseman thank you.
