I'm not really a 1911 or 2011 guy but this one I am interested in. Now for the important thing. I just got my 1st Grand Power. The X- Calibur mk12 . That thing...now I'm hooked and GB it's ALL YOUR FAULT! ....Again!!! I went with the mk12 well 1 the sale price, 2nd I didn't want to be tempted with getting another red dot .

So Ermox is the actual factory from Turkey. Fusion is the US importer and does the "final assembly / QC". I have the Ermox X-fire and it works pretty great.
I'd love to see this ran through with the new MecGar mags. Are you going to do a review of their metal mags in a video or would you sprinkle them into Glock pattern reviews?

@@kaseymoffett5628 Again, they're for different applications in my mind. The EDC IS my winter carry gun because it's lighter. The XP PRO is softer shooting on the range because it's heavier.

I’m going to guess those hexmag Glock mags wouldn’t work very well if at all either. Definitely interested in this one. I have one of those ermox semi-auto/pump shotguns and I still haven’t shot it, it was a little less inspiring. This looks like a much better product.
Looks like a good shooter, but every bobble seemed to track back to "takes Glock mags". If mag swapping is to be a priority, I'd like to see more companies designing around the 320 mag.
Why cant these companies ever make a the thumb safety stiff and tactile? Every time I check out production 1911s at the local gun stores the thumb safeties are terrible. Please fix this Fusion. I want to order one but I wont do it if the thumb safety is going to feel flimsy. A solid feeling thumb safety is the icing on the cake for a good 1911.
A 1911 saftey should never be stiff. It should be smooth and click into position just like pulling a good single action trigger on a 1911. If you have a stiff safety it is not fitted right.
@driftitlikeyouownit i ahould of said well fit. I nice snick on and off. Its one of the best feelings. I had a good gunsmith fit a wilson combat bullet proof saftey on a budget 1911 it made it feel amazing.
@gleamtarrest6310 this pistol is made by Ermox, imported by Fusion Firearms. I said "finally" because I was interested in it when Ermox displayed the gun at IWA in Germany in the spring.
@@GBGuns who makes fusion barrels? The ramped 1911 bul barrel they make is fantastic. I took a tisas stingray carry pistol and did a bul barrel conversion on it and its one seriously accurate pistol, more so than several of my others. I have an sa emissary also in 9 mm that is just a tick off of my new bul barrel converted tisas.
That's more a factor of ammunition differences than anything else. In the WFD segment you'll really see it. Those 10 loads represent a wide variety of energy.
@@GBGuns Gen 3 glock extractors were failure prone from being soft. My p80 build uses one and it would start fine and after a few dozen rounds would start ejecting too the left and straight back. Same ammo. Plus defunct Llama firearms suffers from this issue. I have one.

That mag-well is a little much in my opinion. I am not sure if that was causing some of those hangup issues, but I would remove that bulbous extremity

It doesn't feel flimsy, it's just not super stiff.

3:53 your missing out 1911s require extractor tuning, and Fusion found some of these so be too long.

So it doesn’t use OEM magazines. Looks like a good reason for me not to buy it.
Glock mags are only OEM to Glocks, all other Glock clones have different OEM mags.

There is such a thing as soft ejectors. Watching the ejection pattern change is amusing.
