Game changer!!! Just used this for a tumbler and I’m ecstatic that I saw this trick! I’ve wasted so much time and vinyl and this worked perfectly!! Thanks!
Right!!!
You are awesome. This has helped me tremendously. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!
I can not wait to try this.
Game changer.. windex works also....thanks Hugs Sheryl 💙🎨💙
OMG!!! I had NO idea I could do this!!! Thank you!
Thank you so much for your excellent tricks, I will definitely try this.
Such an important skill! Thank you for this!!
I wished I have saw this video yesterday. I could’ve saved myself some time and the migraine I got by the time I finished. 🤦🏽♀️
Thank you! Love this idea. Going to be using going forward.
Omg thank you for this trick!!! Everything I had vinyl it's too sticky to move and I end up ruining it. I'm definitely going to have to try this next time.
definitely going to give this a try! i hate when i go to place my decal and its off...even if it's just slight it drives me insane and i have to start over :( thank you for the tip/trick!!!
Love ur tee shirt too btw, very cute! AHHHHH!!! So ppl DO put another coat over that decal. That was my main question bc the decals on the one I bought you really can’t feel the edges of the decal, bc they must’ve used another coat over that decal. Plus I’d imagine when washing w/o that other clear coat would cause the decal to chip.
Thank you so very much!! I'm new at this and this was a helpful video!!
Genius! Thank you!!!
I'm going to try that trick and the funny thing is, it's with the same saying as this video.
This is great!!! Thank you!
Thank you again !
Genius!!
Love your videos....btw, I have that same shirt :o)
So do I!
I was cringing when you rubbed with a towel- don't you have issues with fuzz and bumps on next layer? How do you ensure there is no fuzz? This is my struggle- even without touching with towels or paper towels- great video thanks
What measurements did you use for your decals and what size font did you use ? I can never get it right
Once the decal is applied and dried, do you need to reclean the tumbler with alcohol before applying the final epoxy coat? If so, full strength alcohol or reduce concentration?
Greg Philpot I have the same question! I’ve been trying to find the answer everywhere but just can’t seem to find the answer!
I need this in pink & say mamacita needs another Chihuahua.
hairucut Haha!! Too cute. You can find me on Facebook at Ms. Kiss Kreations
Thank you!
So you have any tips in how to assure your getting the decal straight?
Thank You..
Do you have to epoxy the whole tumbler or just where the decal is?
Sandra Lea Melendez The whole tumbler
Where do you get your clear transfer tape!? I’ve been looking for clear!
You can order it from amazon
I get mine from family dollar and use shelf liner. Soooo much cheaper and works just the same
Can you apply paper (sticker) and use it as a decal, sealing it with clear spray before epoxy? Thanks!
Hello, why are you using the soap and water? Is it HTV
Shaila O'Dell It is 651, permanent. It is explained in the video why I’m using the soap and water :)
Did you tape the tumbler where the pink and white don't really mix in? If so how did you get it straight?
I wish I would have remembered you had this video last night! Do you curve your images for your decals on tumblers? I watched videos on that but it never looks right to me
I sometimes curve and sometimes don’t. It all depends on the design I’m gong for 😊
Miss Kiss Kreations Ok, so if I use the soapy water method I should be apply to apply without curve text then. I was thinking it had to do with it being on the curved surface. Good to know. Thank you! I watch so many videos, and so far I really like yours best. So thank you!

If you have time, can you just let the transfer paper/vinyl overnight and then remove...rather than having to use a heat gun?
Yes. You can ☺️
@@MissKissKreations thank you!
Where did you get that beautiful vinyl 😍😍😍
toribear991 she got it from 651vinyl . Com
Does this work for printable vinyl also?
No, it doesn’t. It will fade the vinyl
@@MissKissKreations thank you
Do you recommend sanding before vinyl? And then resin again?
If you have bumps, you can sand before vinyl. Then you epoxy after the decal
@@MissKissKreations thank you for your advice
Is this decal paper
Idk why heat guns even have a low setting??? I’ve never used the low setting.
hi just starting out and finding it a bit hard to have a smooth bottom with glittered tumblers. Any tips on what i may be doing wrong???
Shannon De Castro I would pat the glitter down when putting it over the mod podge. That keeps it’s from sticking up before epoxy.
How do you decide what curve to do for your cup?
What do you mean?
Do you have problems with bubbles using this method?
+Shona I do not. Make sure you push the bubbles out from under the vinyl (if any) make sure the water is dried before applying epoxy
Do you epoxy your decal ounce you have it on ?
I do! :)
Can you do this with any regular vinyl? It won't dry out the stickiness of your decal?
TheGoodmanVlogs Every single type of vinyl. Just let it completely dry. The adhesive will never come off or not stick
