1:41:10 your best bet is NOT to always target the gold pots. Crows only spawn when you hit 3 pots in a row, and going for the gold pot every time can make that incredibly difficult. Always aim for the biggest cluster of pots, or the gold pot if it still has other pots near it.
Tip for anyone else doing Maze Island: The timer pauses while you have your map open, so jot down triggers when you come across them and the statue locations at the start of the round, then plan out your route based on the info you have
Deku stick I've been obsessively checking your channel to see the third part of this series. Love your content style and I'm super excited for more. Keep up the excellent work.
Watching you tackle these challenges is preparing me to conquer the same feats. I would love to see a second attempt at this challenge in the future and maybe have the games missed / wasn’t announced at the time of recording included. Obviously increase the times too. Possibly even increase it towards 21 days but I think that’s is a bit much. Another challenge would be beating every 3D Zelda in a set time frame. And lastly whatever other game series you like, you can do similar challenges for them.
Oof, hearing that you saved all 100 maiamais for the end of the game hurt me inside lol. Link between worlds is my favorite zelda game and the idea of saving them all for the end sounds like torture. I just collect them as i go, and then grab the last few with the maiamai map and a guide per area.
tip: The bomb the targets while sailing minigame has a little trick to it, which is if you jump and then shoot during it, your bombs can go farther, helping you get ones when none are in range or get ones you missed.
1:49:46 As a major note, you actually could have played most of this alone. Four Swords got a DSi rerelease with single player support, Four Swords Adventures is also playable alone and while Triforce Heroes DOES require multiplayer to 100%, half the game's completion is actually locked to single player, so it is actually closer in concept to the multiplayer modes of the games you did play. So yeah, small hole in that rationale. This challenge would have been a lot better as a "can I 100% all 2D Zelda Singleplayers in a month?", because it both would have been more complete and probably would have given you more overall time too.(Playing from 10 to 15 hours a day is kinda insane and I doubt adding three more games would have made up for doubling the time available) Edit: Deku Stick. I have a tendency to write comments before finishing videos.
I have to second @lpfan4491 here. The DSi release might be a bit difficult to obtain if you didn't get it when it was a free download (I think it is technically impossible right now to get?), but both that and the Four Swords Adventure games were extremely fun for me to solo play. And I do find myself insulted to hear you suggest that FSA is the "most unpopular game out there". Like really? When you have Zelda 2, Tri-Force Heroes, the bizarre fanbase of OoT VS WW VS TP (collectively VS SS), AND the complex controls of PH/ST? Then again, I even managed to get a 4 player version of FSA up and running due to me hoarding the wires and GBAs I needed for it... And got banned from playing it from my friends because I knew where everything was and always ended up with the most Force Gems :P
Deku Stick I'm pretty upset that Four Swords Adventures wasn't included though. I think its a good game and it definitely deserves more love! It was a childhood game of mines so its pretty close to my heart.
For minish cap. If going for 100% and in a timely manner. I recommend playing on Switch (GBA streaming version) or a ROM. For shells/money you can go to the gambling mini game. Open a chest. If it's wrong use either rewind (switch) or save states (rom) to go back and pick the right chest. This will earn you 999 rupees each time you play the game. Use that money to just BUY the shells from the store or buy the newsletters or whatever. That's what I did. But you were trying to play the game seemingly legit. So this doesn't work for an honest run. But for just getting it done and over with then I recommend doing the trick for making the grind less of a hassle.
Well, dragged my deku stick over the last 2 days for the entire 3 part, good to see the finale was around recently. Kinda confused why not for swords but instead the spirit tracks and phantom, since those do have single player version and are actually 2d (or more akin to)
Deku Stick. I know you failed due to your own high standards, but I would call it a success. The older I get, the less patience I have for mini-game crap. I replayed FFX not too long ago and remembered how I dodged the lightning 100 times as a kid to get the sigil to make Lulu's ultimate weapon. I tried it this time for about 5 minutes before noping my way out of it. Hell, I never finished Blitzball as a kid and even completed that this run, but "one-hit-out" minigames suck and don't count.
I wouldnt consider this a failure. Plus if you did ALL the work and then edited all 3 videos worth of content then id have just made the challenge for 15 days at the end and finished that last hurdle. But honestly doing all that you did was enough to say you completed them all.
don't feel bad about the endless cucko thing. that's just absurd difficulty. i 100% most games i play and never bothered with that one. and i did commit to completing all of the street pass challenges as single player by using only the shadow links the game spawn if you leave it on for a certain amount of hours
@@jennbryant1814the challenge took 14 days, and who knows how many days for editing the first video its not that weird to think that couldve been several months sgo at this point
Deku Stick my man, Deku Stick.. I still found amazingly how hard and long the Oracle games were and how easy those later zelda games are in comparison If they ever remake the Oracle games, I hope it's not like the new Link's Awakening or the last 2 new entries, which are a bit... "weird" looking for the characters (and too round-shaped)

Also wanted to comment that, the minigame is honestly not that hard ones you learn that
Crazy how these videos are how I found this channel yesterday and now here this is.
I was going to say the same thing
I found the 3d Zelda one 3 days ago and I was like I hope he does the 2d one some day and only had to wait 2 days for it to be done haha

💯At least you can see how many you have left in an area on the map lol
Deku Stick - Great attempt! It was fun watching you do this challenge over the last couple videos :)
Great video! Loved seeing you play through the DS dualogy as I’ve never played them before. Also deku stick
Deku Stick! 😊
Congrats on your achievement even with the (admittedly minor) final setback!
Cant wait to finish this and hope you do the 3d games some time
He already did.
@@SymphoniaFly Yeah beat them but i mean 100% them
@@Wafflecalledisaac Oooh, yeah.
100% the wild games alone would take weeks without glitches
@sobblegaming350 You can 100% botw in 2 days or so using just wind bombs and stuff

Even if you beat Cucco Dash Endless in time, you'd still have to clear all of the Shadow Link Streetpass Challenges for 100% completion
If there's one thing this challenge has taught me, it's that true completion is only for the patently insane
Next do 3d in 10 days
Oh god, the minifigurines are hell in Minish cap.
One of the first to witness the finale of an amazing challenge from the zelda goat

Minish cap artstyle is peak pixel art for the Zelda series. Shame we never really saw it again😢
Oh no my oot water dungeon ptsd kicks in when i see that 🥴. Iron boots on, iron boots off, iron boots on, iron...
why are the boost panels on the dee ess island race not showing up?
Haven’t watched the video yet. But the Minish Cap heart piece from Hell exists… so no you can’t. The end.
I just realized.. if Zelda chose the heart container in Minish Cap you wouldn't have to do figurines (unless you still dont count that as 100%)
That was pretty awesome to see that. By the way "Deku Stick".
Spirit tracks has the same song of healing from Majora's mask
Deku Stick, great idea for a series.
I love your videos, but why are you not playing Four Swords and Four Swords Adventures which are 2D Zelda games ?
Did you do 2nd Quest in Zelda 1?
This was a journey with many bumps in the road, but a fun journey us and hopefully you as well
Also deku stick
This series really put the deku in deku stick
Was Echoes of Wisdom not out when you were playing this challenge?
Wasnt there also a Gramps boss in A Link between Worlds?
I have a question about a link to the past, why is the Four sword shattered in A Link to the past?
There is no context to it, it's just a weird noncanon dungeon.

Why didn't you play echoes of wisdon?

I almost 100% minish cap but unfortunately the cucco minigame is just too difficult for me, I did everything else though
I agree with you on that
Uhh four swords adventures is entirely beatable in single player. Technicly trifirce hereos is as well
Four Swords too, it has a rerelease that has a single player mode included.
