I've already learned front handspring. I just saw this video for fun but, it is a real nice tutorial. Perfectly explained all details required to be followed in the progression.👌👍
2:37 helped me .. ALOT, I have been trying front handsprings for over a month but I kept landing really low with my right arm down. After I saw the kick your other leg part, I tried it and I did it , perfectly
Thank you Ginger!! I was searching for long time a good tutorial to do some of these flips and other jumps! I can do a backflip but I'm panic in frontflip.. with this tutorials I think it will be easier! :D
*If you can make it halfway only, take a fluffy object(giant teddy bear)and you will succeed. practice for days and eventually lose the bear. you'll make it perfect on your own. credit goes to my dad*
Aniket ABRAHAM or one of those yoga bouncy balls. Handstand at the beginning of the ball and bounce with your back on the ball to land, I haven't gotten it perfect but it got me to get over the fear
thank you so much I love all your tuts since the beginning one and also you did good for listening to what the community wanted to say overall I learn more from you than with other trainers
Thx for showing this, i have always wanted to learn this and backflip, i know i have the strenght to do it, just dont know how, so than you for this video, looking forward to more ;)
Diolch! Been trying to get my handspring for a while now.... I can land it 50% of the time, but I think my problem is that I stop briefly in handstand before kicking over so I lose all momentum... can't wait to try kicking over next time at the gym! ;)
Sangat bagus, ilmu ini memberi pencerahan kepada saya bagaiman nak buat front flip. Really good, this video tutorial give sufficient explanation to me how to do good front flip. [from Malaysia]
8 years ago . Yikes . I am going to try tomorrow . I can flip over a yoga ball. I use my back to bounce over . I need to learn to make the u shape bridge and get higher to land .
wow!! so, let's work! thank's a lot for this good tutorial, and thank's to you for your serious! and thank's to you for that inspiration you give to us!
I used to do this. It was sooo fun and such amazing exercise, then I came down once and the top of my foot was where the bottom of my foot should have been. Cut to foot swelling up the size of a water buffalo
I need to improve it. . . cuz of my gymnastic talent show cuz I stop at the bridge. . . and I watched the front flip one. . . hope it works gonna try it
Hi GingerNinja! Fantastic video, just had a query about your statement at 2:40 onwards, Can you rephrase? I didn't understand the mistake you were trying to point out! Cheers from India
Is it possible that you could do a tutorial of how to do a Flip Throw in, in football? Just watched a lot of your vids that could be related, but would be nice with a complete one =)
Thank you for the tutorial! I do have a question for you though if you have a sec. At 2:47, you say (I think) "If you kick straighter, you will have little momentum to get to your fit and land efficiently". Could you explain what you mean by that? I can't quite figure out it by looking at the video.
Some form things to consider. Your head needs to be between your arms. So your shoulders need to be narrower. Your feet are flexed and your legs are bent. You are bringing your head forward a little too soon, too. You should be watching your hands as you come up. Great tips. You have a great shoulder block and lots of strength. But smoother transitions will be essential if you want to learn more fronts out of your front handspring like a pike, layout, or half or full twisting layout. Obviously, this all comes from a gymnastics stand point and you may not need or care about "Perfect" Form. No one is really perfect, anyway. You have really good back tucks and a strong Webster, too! I hope you don't take any of this negatively you are quite impressive! Just a few hints for you and anyone else.
Oh good...I didn't want you to think I was being ignorant...because the way you do front handspring -front tuck blows me away. I am working Front handspring full and full and a half now. But It was a hard fought battle. You look like you could do it in your sleep. Lol.
Hey you should also make a tutorial of ''Aerial'' and ''flik flak'', is only an advice, I would serve a lot of help to several like me :) greetings from Mexico
