Search efforts continue in the George building collapse

Search efforts at the collapsed five-story building in George in the Western Cape continue well into the second week. 33 people, among them 27 men and six women, have died. 19 others remain unaccounted for. Newzroom Afrika's Sipha Kema has more.

Terrible ....5 floors ...what about basement or tunnels under the building

As a layman looking at the good condition of the broken concrete floor slabs in comparison to the heaps of steel reinforcing and virtually non existent walls and columns tells a story of poor quality cement or incorrect mortar mix and insufficient columns/pillar strength while in the brick laying phases with insufficient setting time/hardening of cement and concrete mixes to reach core strength,as possible causes of the catastrophe.

I am so sorry but I'm afraid this one was not caused by the labor force, but rather from those people at the top of our responsible for a project management engineer architect general contractors and even the owners. ❤
