George building collapse: NUM lambasts DA provincial government

- The National Union of Mineworkers in the Western Cae has lambasted the provincial government in the wake of the building collapse in George 10 days ago. Sipha Kema reports.

NUM has become so irrelevant lately and pathetic. This one has his members buried at Lily mine to this day and he cant do a thing about, he is here trying to solve problems that are above his pay grade. They are not even supposed to be here. What a shame. What do the inspectors have to do with permits?? The inspectors were supposed to investigate the water body underneath that building and not the permits.
He is saying the truth though, these guys always take corners, now that they're caught red-handed you make excuses for them, shame on you traitor!
How about go complain about the mines that was closed due to the ANC corruption and thousands of people lost their jobs because of it. (outside the western cape)

@@qnybucks But a political party cannot take accountability for the contractor who failed to follow the building contractor rules and regulations and other legislations that come with developing a site....One of the ways a political party can be held accountable is if they were involved in appointing, endorsing, or otherwise supporting the contractor.

Wow South Africans always too emotionally with everything missing everything I guess this is not the time to point fingers of course we are mourning for the lost of lives but we have to control ourselves and sympathys with the families,I hope yhe investigation will explain what exactly happened but let us not try to play politics with so many lives that is lost,it is so painful,I guess now we want to hear from inspectors report so we'll have an understanding of what happened to prevent a similar accident in future again let everyone involved be of sober habit God help the families with strength they need right now.
