- The disaster site in Victoria Street is now in the hands of the police and the Department of Labour. Minister of Local Government Anton Bredell briefed the media this morning about the status of the recovery work on the site. A total of 62 workers were recovered. Bredell said it is highly possible that some of the workers who had been taken into account as part of the official figure of 81, ran away when the building started to collapse.

Misleading title
Excellent!
With Prejudice: Anton so what you saying when everyone jumps in the fire you do the same. Start thinking with what God gave you and the life's lost and your figures, well figure this out do you this out Why do you care more about the figures cause you talk more about that then the victims? EGO the BIG Me I and Myself first. In my eyes losing one life is not acceptable. It also show me how you treat others around you and I am not talking about your workers in general. stop living in a box or camp and have compassion. Mr. Anton Bredell
Salute❤
Clickbait title.
I don't think its right to build there again. This should be made into a public park and a place made in memory of all those that have been affected.
Well done guys 😊
1 % is already 1 % to high why you so proud about the 54.8%
Well done guys 🙏👏
And those ppl who ran away they have the answer on what happened there, that will be a general foreman, site Agent, site engineer, store man safety officers and jrn foremans
And those who made the building to implode.
nope he did not explain what happened with the george building disaster, he explained how many people were on site and how many were killed....
Hats off to all the rescue workers. Super proud of you❤
I would be scared to live in that area.
No need to. The building collapsed due to structural failure, not sinkholes or earthquakes or something unnatural.
