Get into something else. I say that not as a hater, but as someone who went for it, pulled it off, and has been in the field for years. The typical ET job only pays about $17/hr, which is not great at all, and it's difficult to use to pivot to another career field. If you're smart enough for a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, go for that, instead. As an ET student, you'd be working harder than most of the other students, and the long-term payoff just isn't there. Only about 1/3 of ET students succeed in walking across the stage, and for all that effort, employers just don't want to pay you enough to live well.
Because it's a skilled trade, having an education in the field would give you an edge over the other applicants. There seem to be a somewhat large number of jobs in this field, though many of them would be from recruiters, and there might be quite a few temporary positions. If you're considering an ET degree, you should know that it wouldn't be easy. Usually only about 1/3 of students that attempt it successfully get the degree, and they usually work far harder than other students to pull it off. The reward for it in the career field isn't that great, as the field is littered with $17/hr jobs. I suggest going for something else.
I like the program very much i hope i can join this college soon..
Any advice for a new student going for EET
