You should clip upward branches befor five feet! You dont want them to get fifteen feet tall. Clip your upward branches at an outward leaf or branch and spread them out! You dont want your tree to blow over five years from now! Spread your manure out to two meters tto pull the roots out to feed! Keep a good deep mulch to keep the grass from eating your trees food!! You need to prune your trees twice a year for three or four years while you develop their form! You need to do all of your formative work with your clippers before you have to use a pruning saw! Learn to thin your fruit! Protect the fruit and leaves from insects and birds because they will COME! Good luck with your little orchard!!
