Then came back to do the rest (separated areas), and my impressions are completely different. I used the same tool, the same medium... but apparently, my touch/pressure is not consistent. Or maybe I'm putting more or less medium on the knife? *sigh... I'm may just lean into the cacophony. Anyway... this is stunning and I can't wait to get my jar of Benevolence! :)
Yes! You definitely need to just buckle down. I always try to finish a piece in the same sitting. I will take breaks but that is my fear that I let it dry and come back to it and it looks different. 😩❤️

That background is so striking! I love these texture pieces, but have ZERO patience, so it's good to see you kickin' it! (I'm a klutz, so I feel ya!) You could just baggie up the hanging hardware and send it along with the painting, so that whoever wins it can decide on the orientation.

Hi Bonnie! Thanks so much! As far as the bevy gloss gel…yes you can use it but you won’t have as much structure as the extra heavy modeling paste. If you want more structure add a little marble dust (available on Amazon) to the gel gloss to stiffen it up. Thats all modeling paste is anyway. It will cause your colors to be lighter and more matte so you might have to add a little more paint to get a truer color. Hope this helps! ❤️
