    Mostly correct, but a couple of things in the networking. 1) You don't have to set up the dedicated router as an access point, you can set it up as a router, you just have to turn DHCP off on it (and make sure you set aside some unassigned addresses in your primary router so you can give it a dedicated IP. The trick is you don't plug the uplink to the primary router into the internet port on the dedicated router, you plug it into one of the lan ports. 2) You're better off plugging the PC into the dedicated router if you can, it doesn't have to plug directly into the primary router.

      With my Windows 10, I turned on "Zoom" by hitting Windows key and += key at the same time. To turn off my Zoom and go back to normal screen, I hit the Windows key and the Esc key at the same time. That way I could read and watch the virtual desktop screen while he was talking.
      So just enable the zoom feature in Windows to use the feature and then use the keys mentioned above..
      Worked for me. I use it all the time and very useful for seeing small print.

      Oculus and steam games show up in the VD menu. To play DCS just double click the DCS icon on the virtual computer screen. With the new DCS launcher select VR and launch the game.

      Hi
      Check your VR headset settings in the headset. Assuming it's an Oculus Quest 3, adjust headset setting in your headset to 120Hz. If it's an Oculus Quest 2, it only goes to 90Hz, and 120Hz isn't an option.
      Once that's done, I think you'll see and can select, the 120Hz option in Virtual Desktop.

    I have one gig, AT&T fiber, Internet, coming into the modem/router gateway BGW 320-505 . If I run a ethernet cable out of that into a 6G router then out of that 6g router run a ethernet cable to my desktop PC and wirelessly hook up my quest three to that 6G router, well that work well? Or do I have to set my AT&T gateway into pass-through mode and strictly use the 6G router as my main router. My 6g router is a linksys Hydra pro 6e tri band mesh router.

    • @gamingsessions77
      @gamingsessions77  8 месяцев назад +1

      No it is not. These connections are within your home network and doesn’t have much to do with your isp speed. If you max it out at 100mbps it only affects the quality of what happens within your virtual computer you are looking at in the headset. I hope that makes sense to you what I just said
