- The wrestling world in 2022 was absolutely crazy, I called it the craziest year in wrestling history, little did I know the sequel.. 2023 was going to be just as, if not even more crazy. However now, 2024 is upon us.. and if you look around at what's going on in the business, things are not going to be slowing down anytime soon. 2024 in the Wrestling world is about to be WILD!. WWE is hotter than they have been in a long long time, CM Punk is back. Roman is about to defend his title at Mania. Cody needs to finish the story, contracts are about to be expiring, oh and AEW REALLY NEEDS TO BOUNCE BACK OR ELSE ITS GG.

2023 was easily one of the greatest years in wrestling history. Never would I ever thought that modern wrestling, especially on the WWE side, would be as big as our childhood eras. The Attitude and Ruthless Aggression Eras will forever be king, but I swear with the amount of greatness today, is just wild beyond belief. I know I’ll get hate or will be made fun of for saying all this, but I truly mean it. So many consistent sold out shows for WWE, so many great shows in quality, much more international shows which were legendary, a lot more louder crowds, overall, it warms my heart seeing that I can confidently say that WWE is great once again, and this is coming from someone who forever loves Ruthless Aggression as my favorite time. I’m very excited for 2024, and I hope we all have another banger year for wrestling.😊❤️

@@HabsMike25in terms of quality I agree. I feel like people overrate the ruthless aggression era due to nostalgia. In my opinion, star power right now is similar to then. Roman, Rollins, Cody, Brock, Gunther, Punk, USOs, SZ, KO, Charlotte, Bayley, Bianca, Becky, Rhea, Knight, Randy, and even guys like Drew Shinsuke AJ JD can all main event PPVs. Feel like the star power is as deep as it’s ever been. And it can add even more w Okada MJF Trick and Sasha if they decide to go to wwe
2023 marked my 10th year as a wrestling fan, and it did NOT disappoint! Mainly speaking as a WWE fanatic, Hunter has helped the company resurge in a massive way. Interesting storylines, int'l shows, etc. 2024 is going to be a big year for the industry as a whole but I am very intrigued as to what will happen beginning at the Rumble and onwards. '24 may be one of the best years of wrestling, ever.

Man, 2023 has been a tale of two different atmospheres in both WWE and AEW. WWE has been firing on all cylinders this year, especially with their PPVs, and for the most part, have their stuff together. AEW, on the other hand, has felt somewhat off despite being consistent on the PPV front. A cavalcade of backstage fights, a poor locker room atmosphere, talents either not being used at all or are used poorly, and allegations made against certain talent aren't exactly putting the company in a positive spotlight. They need to turn things around heading into the new year. But for me as a wrestling fan, the last two years have been crazy and I hope it can only get better in 2024.
I'm not here to make friends, I'm here to watch how wild wrestling in 2024 is going to be.
Punk vs Rollins will be fire if they are given creative freedom & toss out the stupid script when it comes to promos
This is one of the most stacked roster we've had in years, 2024 is indeed going to be a rollercoaster.
I personally don’t think it will happen, but my soul will leave my body if I hear a coin drop at the royal rumble and Kazuchika Okada shows up.
We’ll just have to wait I guess.
Yeah like I know WWE will never do him justice. But I honestly don’t think AEW will either. The only place that will treat Okada right is NJPW
even in AEW when he pulled up, something felt off. But I do think in the WWE. With Triple H in control, they have all the tools to cement Okada as a North American main eventer easily. I also think they learned from mistakes they made with Nakamura
What I mean by tools is, look at Cody’s presentation. They make that mf look like the coolest guy on the roster. His entrance alone is 10x better than it was in AEW. WWE just knows how to make stats (when they want to)

2023 in wrestling was really epic we saw the return of CM Punk and Randy Orton return in the WWE and Adam Copeland making his debut in AEW hopefully 2024 brings up new shine in the wrestling world!
This Royal Rumble is going to be insane with Cody Rhodes and CM Punk.
2024 is a year that could either make this company a household name or make it another WCW. They have choices to make and creative personnel to look at. The only interesting things for a casual like me to watch in AEW where MJF vs Adam Cole at Wembley which was the first AEW show I bought in PPV and at one point it was this devil angle but I could care less now
2023 has been my 14th year as a wrestling fan since I started back in 2009 and WHAT A WILD FUCKIN TIME it’s been. As a neutral in the battle of AEW vs WWE both have been doing good, yea they have their flaws but we gotta enjoy the product while we still can. Cheers to 2024! Hope you have a great New Year Pav!
If Aj Lee & Sasha Banks return to WWE, Jade Cargill debut in the Royal Rumble, & MJF debuting at Wrestlemania or the Raw after Wrestlemania, 2024 will be the greatest year ever for WWE.
2023 has been a crazy year for professional wrestling. Returns like : The Rock, John Cena, Kairi Sane, Randy Orton and of course CM Punk. Fantastic wrestling matches : Reigns vs Cody, Omega vs Osprey, Swerve vs Hangman etc. PLE/PPV’s have been amazing : ALL IN, Forbidden Door, Backlash, MITB, WrestleMania. I can’t wait to see what 2024 has in store for us 🔥

I remember saying last year that 2023 was going to be a crazy, but fun year. And it was. But 2024 is going go down if not the greatest year of WWE.
This is going to be the first Royal Rumble, HOF & WrestleMania under full control of Triple H. Rumble we may get some actual surprises. WrestleMania 40 will be better as thought night 1 of WrestleMania 39 was one of the best but night 2 was one of the worst WrestleMania's as that had Vince written all over it
2023 was a crazy year. Who knew CM Punk would ever return to the WWE & now perhaps a return by AJ Lee. Punk vs Rollins is going to be fire & easily main event of Night 1 of WrestleMania 40. 2024 could start of with a bang tomorrow night on Raw. Imagine if we get an Austin & Punk faceoff
TNA is also officially coming back in Junuary. They also (re)signed some great wrestlers

We need the booking correct, like I want a TV 14, give me so many shoot promos that it becomes regular and I barley watch the woman’s devision due to booking issues, so they fix those I’ll watch the whole show and act like an addict for more, so basically modern attitude era

IF Okada joins WWE I hope they make his promo's like Shinsuke with the subtitles and everything unless his English is good for promos because even if the man is so big in Japan the casual crowd doesn't know him and the language barrier doesn't help.

Everyone thinks aew and WWE can’t co exist on the same platform but in all reality we could see WWE on TNT and then AEW on TBS both under Warner bros. But in all reality I wanna see AEW on FX which is used by ESPN from time to time or on ESPN or ESPN 2

2023 not even remotely close as the best year for pro wrestling. A lot of you have recency bias and didn't grow up during the attitude era..
I won't go into details why 2023 can't compare to the years of 97-2002.. But I will say that unless you experienced it, you new fans truly have no clue..
I will say Wrestling is finally getting interesting again, and it has indeed finally picked up steam. But to say it's the greatest time or period in wrestling right now, that's just a bit of a stretch.
