I think Ed had played this so much that he knows where to be to potentially avoid a wreck. So many times he just drivers right through a massive wreck.

Also, I slowed down the video today. And I discovered that he went from 145mph (before hitting Kyle Busch) to 345mph. He gained 200mph due to the effects of pinball mode. Incredible
