    Eva, what raw data file types are available for downloading? And are they for free or they charge a fee for download?

    The PIP would be better on the right top and quite a bit smaller - I can't see the screen...

    Thank you so much for this informative video. I decided after a year of contemplation to buy the 100x whole genome sequencing because I feel it's a worthwhile investment. :)
    I have a question: I'm from Qatar and if I order the test kit, does the season and weather matter when shipping my saliva sample so as to not degrade my DNA?

    • @evakuttichova
      @evakuttichova  2 года назад +1

      Cool! I think it's a good decision. You will have the results until the rest of your life to use as a resource of information, and I am sure it will pay off. The sector is uprising and there are more and more studies coming out.
      To your question, it's an interesting one! I think it shouldn't have a significant affect BUT I would recommend you to get in touch with the company directly. After all, I am not a professional and I think the final advice should come from the provider :).

    How were you able to test the T4 without a doctor’s order? Is there a company that will test for it?

    • @evakuttichova
      @evakuttichova  2 года назад +3

      Not sure how it's in other countries, but where I live I can go to the lab ask them to give me the same sheet as doctors have. Then I fill it up give it to them and pay for the tests.

    Their support is very poor, and after two years they still have not started the collaboration with Family Tree DNA that they used as one of their strong selling points.

    • @evakuttichova
      @evakuttichova  2 года назад +2

      I am not sure about the support, but I agree with you that it's a shame the partnership with Family Tree hasn't happened yet.

      Nebula Genome is big shit. Ther is no ancestry, nothing. The same health results you have in other tests much, much cheeper

  • @Cleedek

    $1000 for this seems pretty expensive. And what did you wanted to say at 12:43?

    • @evakuttichova
      @evakuttichova  2 года назад +9

      Well, it is not a small amount of money, but on the other hand there is a lot of useful information about your health that you can bounce of. You can pretty much benefit from it your whole life, so I would say it's a good investment.

      It is your ENTIRE genome. The info that they give you on their website is not all of it. Most people will take the data and go elsewhere with it. Still I wish it was cheaper tho :(

    what different 100x vs 30 x

    • @evakuttichova
      @evakuttichova  Год назад +3

      30x means every position in your genome is read 30 times, while 100x means it is read (decoded) 100 times, providing a much fuller result

    • @ThierryPianoSolo

      @@evakuttichova Does it mean that 30 times is not relevant?

      I read and was told by my doctor for most people 30x is sufficient.

      I would like to keep that to myself for now. Mainly because the information is based on studies of which relevance I am still in doubt of a bit. I might dive deeper into it one day, get more resources and then I'll maybe share more :).

    You're adorable, smart, and awesome. You're pretty much my dream girl. But unfortunately, from your website, it seems as if you are based in the Czech Republic. I'm based in Florida. Hopefully, it will be comforting to know you have an admirer from afar.
    Also, this video was informative. I'm looking into doing WGS with Nedula and I wanted to know what the product offered.
    Also, also, I recently graduated from university with a degree in business analytics and information systems (BAIS) and am planning to start a financial content production business with a web and mobile presence. I am going to keep your contact information in mind because I may want to engage your services during the mobile design process.
