I am soo intrigued by the DNA testing, the accuracy between each along with consistency is remarkable. Very pleased you took the time to share your results. Please continue sharing videos on this topic!
I think the Indian part of your DNA actually came from Roma people. They have significant Indian genes. 10% is about the size of a great-grandparent contribution, so I think you would've known it if it were an actual Indian person in your lineage.
I pretty much know my heritage back to 17th century Ireland. I've found that I can trace the general origin in Leinster, County Longford, but supposedly some origin is possible in Scandinavia as well. This of course is due to a lot of research. Now that they do have these tests available, I've been planning on doing it to see how accurate I am with my research. As far as family medical and my personal health, I already know the main issues of our family. I also have a branch of Native American Indian as well as my Irish roots.
That was certainly interesting! Amazing what DNA tests can reveal. I suppose it can give you some idea to genetic pre dispositions. A healthy lifesytle along with less stress is good, the stress factor can be harder to manage but it's good that you have positive stress coping mechanisms and positive outlook. Thanks for sharing Alina :) .
The DNA test was certainly very thorough. Harriet and I did our DNA test. It was very interesting and useful info . One caveat to it all is, knowing this information can create all sorts of anxieties. You have to be careful how you use it. Be Well. Stay Safe Alina. Sending you lots of love.💖💖 Harriet and Jim
Considering Ukraine was Russian Empire, the little bit of Asian shouldn't be surprising at all really. You had movement of people from the Mideast and Central Asia, and China.....back and forth. If you are lactose intolerant you will know it, because milk will cause stomach cramps, really bad morning breath, and an awful taste, and diarrhea. Spain is Mediterranean too. Their cooking influenced Mexican and Tex-Mex, so healthier, milder seasoned grilled chicken fajitas and South West stye grilled chicken salad would be good for you.
I forgot about Circle DNA, at one point I went on DNA test spree and I had another list and circle DNA and others were on my list, I’ll let you know about mine when I get it. With ancestry my percentages vary quite a bit I think it’s because I am mixed race and multi ethnic. I took an ancestry DNA + health with 23 and me and the health part has a long list of diseases that most people probably have never heard of, I was happy to know that my dementia risk is low but let’s see, they also said that I probably wore braces at some point 🤨 nope but I need braces, I have an intolerance to lactose and I can’t remember what else now. I imagine that your biological father is probably of a similar background as your mother. A lot of people may not agree with me but if I ever find I carry something I can pass on my children I will have them genetically edited, a distant cousin of mine did that.
I think that it is rather difficult to ascertain our genetic origin. Certainly we all are a mix of different ethnic groups, because of the continuos migrations occurred over the centuries from one place to another one among the continents. This test is undoubetedly very interesting. Thank you for sharing your adventure in Brazil.
My Great-Grandfather lived to be 97! He used to walk the block around his home everyday! At 94, I watched him do an Irish clog dance! He was physically one heck of a specimen! Sure hope I got enough of his genetic makeup in all the right areas. Mental makeup (tenacity for life) probably has some part in longevity too. I use to say that I want to outlive him - I’m shooting for 104!! Alina, you look as though you may have some Scandinavian, Norwegian or Scottish genetics because of your eyes, hair, teeth, angular facial bone structure. They are known for being hearty and thriving physically, unless challenged by a rare disease. May you live long, so you may share your personality gifts with the world! Love to you!
Seems like a pretty in depth test. I really enjoyed this video way better than a travel video. Just my .02! Will definitely have to check out the circle dna test information on their website. That was interesting,, Alina! Some more facts you can keep in mind for you. It appears to be right on for you, the fact that it told you that you tend to be a thrill seeker, made it more correct because you are definitely that for sure. I think it is one quality that draws people to you and others that are close to you outside of your family. It is then we become your friend and always value your thoughts and everything you share. hello Alina, the result I do not inform you that I love you and I am happy watching your videos and I always like your videos??? A hug with love from Bogota..🥰
Genetic testing indicates similarity with people living in a certain region, and not necessarily where somebody's ancestor is from. Sanskrit too is an Indo-European language. It's possible that the genetic similarity with "South Asians" derives from Proto-Indo-European (specifically Indo-Aryan) migration that occurred thousands of years ago. In other words, some of your ancestors overlap. It's clear Southern Central Asia still retains strong genetic, linguistic, and cultural Iranic influences. East Iranic people in the Tarim Basin and Central Asia used to be known as "Sogdians" and were the primary Silk Road nomadic merchants between China to Central Asia to Persia/South Asia. (Modern Uyghurs in Tarim Basin are mixture of migrating nomadic Turkic clans and indigenous Iranic/Sogdian populations.) East Iranic languages are still spoken in modern-day Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. Interestingly, Ossetian language in the Caucasus Mountains--between Georgia and Russia--is also East Iranic/Iranian, which implies that before westward migration of Turkic/Tatar nomads from Siberia & Mongolian Steppe, Iranic-languages were likely the dominant one in Central Asia to Caspian Sea.
In your age category, the test results are to be expected. In about twenty years it might be different, so get retested then. When I was younger, I thought what happened to my dad, he had two heart attacks, wouldn’t happen to me because I attributed them to environmental factors and the men in my family don’t handle high stress very well. Well, I had heart attacks around the same age my dad did so now I think I probably have a genetic propensity to them. The reason I brought it up is genes can’t tell us alone what will happen to us in the future, a test can only tell us what the outlook is like now and what it may be down the road. In other words, an educated guess. My feeling is your test will let you mitigate things that can adversely affect your health and help you manage the best years of your life better but what it can’t do is guarantee an outcome. The test you took is a tool and its a valuable one and it will help people in deciding how more information about themselves can help them deal with what lies ahead.
This is very interesting. Thank you for sharing. I had a similar test. It may be interesting to get another one and compare. I think these tests can vary with certain factors. Like using another company or comparing a sibblings. Even if it varies it is always an interesting insight. 😘
This is a very long list of traits and it makes me wonder if a lot of the traits are based on surveys that you take on this website ( or at least a sample of people's surveys), and they match the biological markers with the survey answers. Interesting video. Thanks for sharing.

You cant use theese kind of tests in this way. They sequence the dna but then uses statistics to do the conclusions. So any "diagnose" are just a crude prediction that may cover or may not cover. If it should be more accurate they would need to sequence the mitocrondian dna also. And they do not go that far.

the asian dna and the north western european dna is because you have scythian ancestry and they (indo-europeans) spread out from ukraine to europe and to iran and pamir mountains (afganistan) etc. so the dna is checking which current populations on earth your SNPS match with. so these people you match with are distant cousins not your direct ancestors unless you really were from their tribes. they collect snps by DNA testing people whose great great great X3 grandparents have lived in the same area and they believe they are from that area. thing is, humans migrate, and a lot of people are no longer in locations that their ancestors are from.
Here's what the guys said about Taya being 1% African when there were no Africans in Ukraine: You are right. But there could be one more reason. And this reason is to make people believe all of us belong to a mixed race, that all of us are a little bit African, Native American or Asian. Kind of positive racism in some way.

Wow that's really interesting! A few years back I did Ancestry DNA and I liked it but it was nowhere near as detailed as this. Back then my dad did it also and his results made sense with mine which was 95ish% European and mostly from France. That's probably why I like wine and Champagne! haha!

I dont think that's how genes work. We dont have a quarter of each grandparent in us, the manifestation of genes are a bit more "random"
Circle dna is completely wack for European people. Their reference panel is mostly Asian.
I don’t think this dna test is that accurate 😭
