I have been following The Quilted Forest on RUclips and she sets up and numbers 12 bins at the end of a year with UFO projects. The folliwing year, she chooses a number and works on that bin that month as she has time. She shows what she has accomplished each month before choosing the next project number. A UFO is not always completed but she makes progress. Many times a project is completed as she says it wasn't as time consuming as she thought. I haven't done this yet but your 12 week plan may be an option for me, summer months are busy with gardening, yardwork, and travel. Other times, such as winter are slower paced.
This was really interesting, thank you for sharing! I have a hard time pacing myself. There are so many beautiful projects to do. But I finally did manage to get the Christmas quilt top I finished in 2021 to the quilting stage! I am really happy and proud of myself 🙂 I like the look of the programm you use for prioritising you projects (at around 6 minutes). I looks like it is for a tablet or PC. Can you tell me what you are using, I would like to check it out.
Thank you so much for watching! 🌻 Also sending you a big congratulations on getting your quilt to the quilting stage! Happy quilting! I use Todoist for tracking my tasks. You can get either online or as an app.
Is it a UFO if the fabric has been purchased and the pattern is ready to go, but no cutting has been done at all? Is there a different 'title' for these? Most of my stash space is occupied by non-starters like these....😢
Thank you for sharing! Yes the full list can be daunting and scary. So maybe starting by listing 1 or 2 you love and come up with a plan for just them for the next 12 weeks could be a good start. 🌻

Clever video. I like the idea of making a plan and sticking to it. Organized your quilting. Wonderful ideas. Thanks for sharing.

@@ginnielynn Thank you, I downloaded it. Looking forward to using it.

I have a few of them and I did count them, but put them in their own category. 🌻
One idea is to never allow another UFO. I am kinda terrified of even listing my UFOs.
