Maybe the prices are high, but we very high wages here, so for us it isn't that high. Meat is also more pricey here, our farmers are not allowed to farm beef like in Australia. Animal welfare is an issue here, so are drugs in the animals.
Salaries are high in Denmark. And VAT is added, so when ever there's been humans "touching" things they prices shoots off to the moon 😰 If it's a posh restaurent the waiter has 3-4 years education behind him and a salary that refleks that. Dishwashing is probably at student's job, but it's paid 30 Austalian dollars an hour. We like the people serving us to be able to dine out, too 😉😉 I pay DKK 5 for a beer in a supermarket, DKK 25-30 for same brand, same amount in a CHEAP bar. The tender takes the top off it, and lend me a glass and WUPTI the price went up 500% 😵 The tender spends 3 weeks every winter in a jungle on the other side of the world 🤗 but SHE doesn't waste her money dining out 😂😂 Peace and to all of you 🥰🥰
@ane-louisestampe Wow! If a dish washer earns $30 hr then I can understand why the quality of life must be very high. I would definitely wish to explore more, would you recommend any good towns to visit other than Copenhagen? Thanks
@@risinyagem Sounds a lot, yes, but mind you, first the taxman takes his 40% and EVERYTHING is expensive, so there's not much left after expences. Edit: AUSTRALIAN dollars - not US
Good towns outside Copenhagen? Oh Dear. Most of them 🤣 ROSKILDE - Fantastic viking museum and more than 40 king and queens burried in the cathedral. Queen Margrethes mausoleum is already in place. ODENSE - Hans Christian Andersen's birth town. Wonderful new museum about him and The Funen Village is an open air museum with old farms moved from all over the country. ÅRHUS - the best art museum AROS and "Den Gamle By", open air with town houses from all over the country. A few years ago they made a 1980'es town. I could go on for ever 🙄 MUST SEE: Egeskov Castle - it's a true fairy tale castle in a beautiful park with fun for ALL ages. When my husband first came to Denmark we "collected" islands: Møn, Ærø, Rømø... Friends of mine set the goal to have seen all 12 cathedrals, which brought them to a couple of towns they'd never have thought of visiting. The very best Danish town is - of couse - the one I live in 😉 Nyborg. It dates back to 10th century and served as a the capital before Copenhagen and is in many ways a "Pocket Copenhagen". This is a dead certain promise: I'll give you a guided VIP-tour if you make it to Nyborg. I trained at the tourist office, so I'm 💯serious Peace and love
Yes come visit Denmark again, we always got room for beautiful people, with kindness in their heart. All the best from CPH ❤
Thanks my darling ,most definitely will visit again ❤
Yes we do.
MAX is a Swedish Company that’s probably why it’s expensive 😜

That would explain the high prices in beef.I guess we have it good in Australia when it comes to beef 🥩 products.

Nothing strange in Middelfart. Do you know our police sets up fart control? Yeah, it is a serious busyness here in DK.
😂 Now that’s Funny! You jus made my day @ Gert-Dk
