Since you are from Austria, I must tell you about our pastry. In the USA, among others, it is called a Danish. It is of course not what we ourselves call it. Here it is Wienerbrød (Vienna bread). The reason is that several hundred years ago, the bakers went on strike, so no bread for the Danes. The King at the time, invited Austrian bakers to the country and of course they had their own recipes with them. So the pastry got the name Wienerbrød. We've been eating a lot of it ever since.
