      If you want to get the scoop on what kind of guy Tony Atlas is, talk to the world renown fitness and bodybuilding trainer and nutritionist, Chris Aceto. Aceto is a total straight shooter and does not sugar coat anything. He things extremely high of Tony and knows a ton about Tony's history as a bodybuilder. It would be a really cool score for your channel/business if you could land an interview/discussion between Tony and Chris Aceto. He doesn't do much press other than his work with his good friend, Dave Palumbo, on RxMuscle. But when he does, it is always very insightful and very entertaining. He lives in Maine, so you might be able to get them together or a talk. Just an idea for you, Dan Maloney (as Sheik used to call you). hehe

    • @bostonwrestlingcom
      @bostonwrestlingcom  6 лет назад

      Appreciate your comments, Kevin, and glad you enjoyed the interview. It was a "downer" in that we've had positive experiences with all three gentlemen discussed, wish Tony's stories were more fun and lighthearted, but in the end with Tony, you always get the honest perspective. We never go over the topics discussed on the programs beforehand, so the responses are always natural and off the top of his head.

      That's because the interviewer is absolutely horrible - the worst I've ever seen. The constant commercials don't help - this is pretty much a SHIT video period. So "Boston Wrestling MWF" you can explain it however you want but look at some of the OTHER interviews with Tony and you'll see how it SHOULD be done. I won't even comment on you admitting that you "never go over the topics" beforehand. That's pretty damn unprofessional.

      Ryan Blevins George Steele was “bitter” because he was made to play a dim-witted character, and the fans expected him to “act like an ape” outside of the ring, as well as inside of it. That would be annoying as hell to have to act like a “simpleton” at airports, comic book conventions, and other venues where fans were likely to recognize you. Worse still, is that within the industry, George Steele effectively became “type-cast” with his primitive character. Think about why the “smart” Incredible Hulk character didn’t last very long in the comic books. It’s the same principle with George Steele. It wasn’t until he retired as a performer that most fans realized that he actually had a lot upstairs.

    Atlas confuses the heck out of me. There are numerous times I’ve heard him say he didn’t face racism in the business (which I knew was a crock) but here he when you get to the Henan portion listing incidents of racism.

      Ryan Blevins - how is telling something that happened like Dick Murdoch tricking him into going to a Klan rally “playing the race card”? That phrase is just plain stupid. Either he dealt with it or he didn’t.

      well i dont really know what youre specifically talking about in previous videos but what i was saying is he probably didnt want people thinking he is using his race as an excuse, which people often do. thats a possibility of why he sometimes says it happened and sometimes says it didnt.

I heard what he said about you on that show. I guess he needed a few drinks to get it all out. But if he really no showed, that's just not right

As a kid I watched Tony, superfly and others in the high school gyms throughout NY ( WWF). In 2007 I got the chance to be Jimmy's tag team partner...something I will never forget.
