    I have to ask. Great video but why do they call themselves a string band when there are only 3 banjos?

      In the early days of the Mummers parade all “string bands” were primarily strings. Banjos, violins, acoustic guitars, mandolins, banjolins, banjolele, upright bass fiddles. Now it’s predominantly saxophones. Also, no 10-12 year old boys/girls want to learn banjo.. they go after the sax, drums or bass.

      @@yvonneplant9434 The tenor banjo is easier to play than the guitar, as it only has 4 strings. My own experiences.
