My Friend's New Aventador Miura 50 and SV Roadster

- Now this is a good way to spend a day, joining @rana65556 at Lamborghini Pangbourne to check out his brand new Aventador Miura 50 Homage. Not only that but he brought his SV Roadster along for a little drive too!
The Miura 50 Homage is a special limited edition, only 50 cars globally based on the LP700-4, it comes on offer in the 18 original Miura paint colours with the dual tone of gold or satin silver on the lower highlights.

The Miura color scheme looks fantastic.
The Aventador has so many special editions that now they're no longer special. The Miura is just a Badge, a plate with a number and a livery, bullshit.
This has always been the Lamborghini way
The Miura 50 Homage doesn't actually have a bigger price tag
Mclaren are heading the same way, it's a tricky balance to get a return on their platform R&D but not devalue the brand as a result!

Anonymous Depends on where you're driving it. If you're in the UK then yes, but if you're in let's say Canada it's actually quite small.(I live in Canada and I've seen them on the road numerous times)

Great looking colour scheme! I love the golden wheels and side skirts! But I think to represent and honour the miura they should have come out with a complete new car that is a modern form of the Miura. It's like you paint a BMW M3 in black/gold to honour the BMW 3,0 csl. They didn't do that - they built the BMW 3,0 csl hommage. A worthy successor.

There was a RHD black and gold Muira 50 at Melbourne's Motorclassica last weekend. Looks great.
Like the Miura Caramel- Edition :) Very nice and classy look, the SV roadster on the other hand got a completely different personality.
Canada received 3 of the 50th anniversary ones, and Calgary, AB, where I am, got 1! Pretty friggen awesome.

They are literally everywhere: in every video and real life. I was walking through Knightsbridge recently and spotted 3 SVs, without even looking hard.
Nothing special about this car apart from a few badges and some paint. And probably completely overpriced. I don't get why people are even remotely excited about this car.

There was a modern Muria shown at the auto shows that was taller longer and wider than the original, they should have put it into production. The only thing like a Muria is a Muria. Although some have caught fire because the carbs spat some fuel on the hot engine.

Seems like they didn't even try, Lamborghini should have made the Asterion and used that platform as a tribute, much closer in style would have made a great limited edition.

That Miura 50 Homage is just epic! Had the chance to shoot it a few weeks ago. The engine note is definitely a bit different, seems smoother and throatier to me. What did you think of the sound?
