I'm glad you like it! At first I was planning to release one video of the entire process (including the paint and weathering), but then I realized it'd be almost one hour long. I didn't want to push the patience of my viewers too much, so I decided to split it.

Nice work. I really like the effort you put into it with the exhaust covers and the fenders, it's what sets great modelers apart from good modelers. It looks amazing and really adds to an already nice model. Can't wait for the paintjob. :-)

A fantastic demonstration on how to take a mediocre low detail 1/48 kit and make it shine! :)
I especially loved the exhaust covers! Your template will be my new reference for making my own exhaust covers in 1/35 in the future, just scaled to the correct proportions. If you made the template from scratch then my hat off to you!
Also great tip using the cheap aluminium food containers instead of more expensive brass sheets.
There's a reason why you are so good at scale modelling and it shows!

Hi, Jens! I wouldn't call it mediocre, but it's indeed under detailed in some places. That inspired me to make my own templates from scratch (because, why not, right? 😅). I'm also glad you appreciate the text in English. Most of my viewers are from US and UK, so I try to make it easier for them.

Haa, my nearest Tamiya store ran out of the sturmtiger and i literally broke my left hand(my primary) so I can't make the glorious tiger 2 or the T-34/85 I've stored for the whole year to make it in the summer.
Brilliant stuff. Love the new fenders, is it possible to scale them up to 1/35 scale, if so how much should I increase the print scale by? I'd do it myself but i'm old (56) and not sure how to calculate it. Fantastic videos.
