¡Muchas gracias, Juan! Los ago como me gustaría encontrarlos cuando quiero aprender algo nuevo, aunque a veces me complico demasiado :D Pero bueno, ahí voy puliendo el formato poco a poco
Really nice Video 🙂 i love your Sturmtiger. Now, i have to build one of these... Greetings from Germany
Thank you very much! It's a really nice kit, but I made some improvements to make it look even better (Here's the video, in case you haven't seen it: ruclips.net/video/6iO-PSA1JGE/видео.html). Greetings from Colombia!

Great Video, very well explained! i was wondering what kind of Brush did you use to apply the overall washing without getting streaks? was it a
hard bristle brush?
Excellent video! What varnish did you use in this one?
I'm planning on building the RFM Sturmtiger, so I'll probably use these tips and tricks on it :D
how did it go ? i have the same kit
Nice, I have that RFM full interior version in 1.35 to build the same box art one as the photo you put up at 5mins in
Excellent work. Great idea with the dog hair! Your dog was staring at you wondering 'what is he up to!??'
Haha, she's the real mastermind behind my channel :D Thanks for watching!
Hello Sergio Solo, perfect work! I like your videos!
I have some question's.
What pressure in PSI/BAR you using on the compressor/airbrush for painting AMMO/AK acrylics, varnish and primer's?
Thank you!
I'm very impressed! Very nice work! But I got a black lab!?
I like it.......i don't say that very often.
¡Hola Sergio!
You're getting better and better. Mig Jimenez invests well 😎.
Nice to meet Vanilla again!
By the way, "venom" really seems to be a good stuff. I bought a box too. Looking forward to mimick a camouflage like yours!
You make it look so easy 🙂. Thanks for sharing!
Until your next project I wish you all the best!
¡Hola, Radu! Thank you very much. I feel fortunate to have AMMO's support. They are one of the reasons my work is getting better and their products are so convenient!
See you next time, and thanks again for following my work :)
SUPER! You ever done a scratch build one in 1/35th?
muy bien
+XR Stanly Gracias :)
i love your videos!! :) greetings from Germany
I'm glad you like them! Greetings from Colombia 🇨🇴
Watch your videos over and over again. Can you remember paint/thinner ratio and pressure? Can't reach that level of smooth with ammo, but like colors and no smell.
¡Saludos!
Wow. I really admire the thoughts and effort you put in your models and videos. Who would have thaught of dog hair as a dry grass subsitute? And it works! And really happy to see my favourite effect of yours, the before/after-Trick. :-) I am always looking forward to new videos of you, Sergio!
Thank you, Dennis! I was a bit hesitant at first, but the color was just right, so I had to give it a try! I'm glad you like the before/after effect. It makes sense when I make two separated videos (one for the building process and another one for the painting/weathering)
Great video and painting and weathering, you said you had a new headset ,who was the maker ?, my dog is the wrong colour so i must go to the dog park and show some affection to the right coloured dog ha ha.
weathering is not overdo, it looks realistic.
Robert
I'm glad you like it!
Beautiful camouflage job on the 1/48 Sturmtiger. Can you reuse the masking putty?
Thank you. Yes, the camo putty is totally reusable. You just have to mix it until it's black again and you're good to go
Nice work!
BTW you also can make diorama base from dog poop.
Thanks! Sky's the limit, but I'd rather not :P
Hi, excellent work. Wish I had your ability. Question: after applying paint (Rotbraun and RAL 7028), do you wait to dry out before using water to activate the scratches effect applied before the paint? Thanks.
Thanks. Yes, you can start the chipping process once the paint on top is dry to the touch (a couple of minutes is enough)
Vainilla me hiso darte un like
Y ella te lo agradece :)
Btw so the germans used red brown for both the primer and some of the camo? Cause I saw alot of camo using red brown
I'm surprised the CA didn't have the mig logo;)
Those fibers... :D I'd recommend coconut fibers, but this was fun at least. :P
Oh! Coconut fibers! I didn't consider them, but it sounds like a good idea too 👍
Yup, I have a 'cordyline' plant in my garden that has long spearlike leaves that dry out very tough. I can take a 12" long piece and rub it between my hands and break it into dozens of long, fine fibres. I just tease them out and cut to whatever length suits the scale. You get a lot of natural variation too, from straw-yellow to mid-browns.
Muito bom ! ;)
Obrigado!
Magnífico modelo. ¿Cuanto tiempo te ha llevado hacerlo?
¡Muchas gracias, Antonio!
That dog tho 😂
Realmente usaste el pelo de Vainilla????
After application of dog hair do you spray Advantage over the tracks ? 😂
Quick question for you: do you seal the paint layers before applying more of the chipping fluid? Example: after you've chipped the intial dunk. color, did you seal it at all before applying the camo?
Great vids!!!
No, I don't. The chipping fluid is only effective for a few hours. If you wait long enough, you don't need to seal the chipped layers. In any case, I suggest you to make tests beforehand.
Thanks for watching!
Sergio Solo cool thanks for your reply!! I hate applying more sealant than needed. Thanks again.
WORLD WAR Blob look like the Germans are having a bad time haha. Great video man Thank you.
Which is better? Chipping in every step, or all at once as you did in the T-54?
If you work with AMMO's chipping fluid it's better to work on smaller areas or shorter sessions, because it evaporates faster than the hairspray (the one I used with the T-54)
I know it's a sponsored video, but for you personally would you pick the specialist chipping fluid over hairspray, pros and cons of both?
keep up the videos either way, they're great to watch
Thanks. About the chipping fluid (at least in my case):
Pros:
- More realistic looking chips
- Once it's fully dry you can work the next layer of paint without worrying about chipping the previous one.
Cons:
- It evaporates much faster, so you have less time to work once applied (but still plenty of time)
- More expensive
Como he dicho algunas veces, ¡no olvides pasarla bien! :)
Can I apply hairspray the way you used scratches effects in this video? Are there any important differences?
Yes, you can. According to my experience, the chipping fluid gives better looking chips, but the hairspray gives you more time to work. With enough practice you can have great results with either of them
