Welcome to iTripReport's flight reviews, where we review everything from the service to the flight. We make sure to to put every single detail on each of our flights, from a first person real time perspective. We record everything from the cabin to the flight itself, this video will make sure to include everything you are looking for in a flight! Enjoy!
Ah yes. I remember Flying the Delta 737-900ER almost 3 years ago to Detroit from Orlando. At least Delta is still keeping their seat back screens unlike American and now United on their 737 MAX. Delta's is always better than the others in the big three as well. Great Review!
I sort of disagree. I like american's lie flat product better, and when aa has the IFE, I prefer it over Deltas. Also, I think that AA has better looking economy seats and they have a better Premium Econ. I also like their livery too. But I agree about United. Just my opinion.
Yep! Been using Delta for years and won't look back now. They've ways made my flights enjoyable!
Random yeah if u wanna get there 2 days late
Agreed, delta is the best out of the big3 U.S. airline
@@jacemalone391 never been late on delta unless of a storm at my destination
As medallion member, I truly enjoy flying with Delta. I'm impressed how beautiful they have the new cabin for all 757s. Every single 757 has PTV!
Wife and I flew delta first class from Detroit to Seattle for an Alaskan cruise back in July and loved the service. Going to fly with them again 1st class in 2020 for Detroit to Lax for a West Coast cruise. this was a great video for that flight. thanks !!!
I wish that airlines still separated first class and coach like they used too.
I flew from MSY to Lax back in the summer on a Delta a319 and I would say Delta has the best IFE. So many movies, shows, games eat.
Delta is doing something that no other legacy carrier is currently doing, which is actually making their older aircraft look new. I'm posting a review of their A319 next
I’m going to fly delta first class this Thursday! I bet it’s going to be great!
P.S It is my first time flying on Delta airlines too!
This video has got me starving to travel now!!!
I love how you played shrek as a nod to all the memers watching this, +1, you sir are a certified Meme Lord.
Delta’s IFE is in my opinion the best in the business
This is the most epic frickin' thing I've ever witnessed, thanks for sharing. Frickin' sick brother.
frickin’ lol
Great video man! I will be flying on a Delta 737-900er in July from CVG-SEA!
I love the 737-900! It's a beautiful plane, the cabin is so spacey, it is just great
I just flew a Delta 737-900ER from ATL to SEA I was in comfort plus. Great video
Flew on this a few months ago get experience I’ve ever had.
So It was awesome the seat was comfortable, they had a pillow and blanket the screens were big, the legroom was great, I highly recommend this.
Edit: omg one like!
You get one additional like
Wow most I ever got, lol
Your phone provided excellent quality. Love your reports. Keep it up!
Flying first class tomorrow! So excited!
I only fly Delta's first class! I absolutely love it.... also its the only class I fit in comfortably LOL.
The HD on this is so good my eyes cant take it.
I always appreciate your videos. I'm flying Delta for the first time. On 737-900er Hartford to Atlanta
Then an A321 from Atlata to LAX. Both are first class. First time doing that as well on Delta. I'm getting spoiled
Thanks for the tours on both planes.
Thank you so much for this! Flying to AZ in August on this plane in first class and was a great help with getting acclimated to the flight. I havent flown much so a little nervous.
2:16 JetBlue has TVs in all of their seats right? I remember flying JetBlue and having TVs and free headphones too
Yes they do, although I was never offered free headphones so not quite sure about that
yes and large nice snacks with a full soda for free. flew them in november to disney
I LIKE TRAINS
first class is supposed to include FREE meals, ( incl free alcohol! ) privacy and complete separation from economy, meaning a big thick curtain!
@@bwb4416 alcohol and meals are included but on the smaller plans like this it is not as private.
Love Delta, never experienced 737 first class, only 757 and MD 80
I have been on delta's, md88, 757, 767, a320 & a350. but I have never been on their 737 either; but I will this july.
SLC is so pretty to fly in and out of. The only thing that sucks is if you need overnight accomodations from Delta due to issue, the majority of their options are 30-40 minutes away.
Thanks for a great report. I will be sampling the Delta 1st class product myself in a couple of weeks on a flt from ATL - TUS. Really looking forward to it.
I’m flying on one of Delta’s 737-900ER first class in 3 weeks!
I always enjoyed the 737-900. It just seemed like a logical evolution of the 737. I only Boeing had stopped there.😢
Thanks my dd is flying Delta 1st class to go to Disney in FLA, so this will help her first time flight. Blessings.
That seat is one of the best seats because when they are taking off you can see the engines start spinning
Dang flew this exact plane once DTW-SFO... Then again BWI-ATL.. Now watching a video on it. What are the odds?
i feel very happy can enjoy of this magnific video thankyou very much
Love your videos. Also, love the new intro!
Delta’s first class is truly amazing. Also want to note that everyone missed the fact the lady in the other seat has a beautiful orange Birkin.
9:53 Yo That's so beautiful
Not from America from Brazil
Hoping to visit USA by the end of 2019
Booked the plane tickets to NYC and LA on American and Delta
BTW great review!
I have never been so lucky to be the only pre board!
For the record, delta has 4 labs, one is at the front, no idea how you missed it
Thank you for your review as I will be flying with Delta for the first time in 3 years I hope that my flight will be great I will be traveling from Wichita to Boston with two flight to Boston and two flights back. Again thanks for the video and also any tips on how to enjoy my flight any better? Also I will be flying first class for the very first time ever so this will be an experience for me.
For Salt Lake City you accidentally put SCL that’s Santiago International Airport in Chile 🇨🇱
Loved the video 🙏
Also awesome video! Love the cabin of the 737-900ER.
i’m flying delta in april with my bsf i cant wait
The Meatballs and the whole fried rice...damn sure was a big full entree....I would take ate it all if the flight attendants came by surprise to bring me one..I just felt like I didn't notice until that happened!!!
The earphones are free in main cabin too, FYI
thanks for the info, I'll update that information in the description and in future delta vids.
iTripReport No problem! I live your vids to bro! Keep up the incredible work!
Elias Kishelev in economy Comfort & first class they are free. If you are in main cabin they cost you $2.
That's only on domestic routes. If you fly international or transcontinental they're free in any cabin.
iTripReport it all depends on how long the flight is. From SLC-ATL a couple days ago they charged me and from AUS-ATL they charged $2 but from ATL-San Juan they were free
Like the new intro
The very first time I ever flew on Delta, I had a 7Hr Delay. I would like to give it another chance though.
What time of year were you flying? Brief flurries in SLC but no evidence of much snow upon takeoff, only on the distant Wasatch mountains--noticed you wearing a white, long sleeved dress shirt with what looked like a name tag on the breast pocket or was that the logo of the shirt company as you were introducing us to the Delta Studio product. What was the weather at JFK? Interesting that probably half your flight was in darkness yet most folks had their shades down anyway to watch their movies--any sightseeing in NYC? Odd that you would say 'Hurry up oven,I"m hungry' yet you couldn't finish your onboard meal! Do you ever drink alcohol on your flights?
Flew this during early February. Yeah that name tag you saw was just the design of the jacket. It was pretty much cold in jfk during my arrival, around 5 degrees C. I was hungry, yet I wanted to save room for later, and no I don't drink when flying. We stayed over for 4 days in NY so we did do some sightseeing
Oh trust me, I live in SLC and we didn’t have snow until mid February.
Delta was my first airline to fly on and I think they are the best
Same here:)
Very detailed !
I'm probably going to fly first class this year. I got upgraded to first last year and it was fun!
Goodbye 👎🏾AA - Delta all the way! Oh shit! it even rhymes😏 🥂
One day you should try Alaska Airlines First Class on a long domestic haul.
Excellent video!
Does anyone know which airlines still separate the first class and coach area?
I know this might have been said already but WOW, this was recorded with an iPhone X?
Great video. Makes me want to fly that route. Nice cabin too. For contrast, see the new BA European sardine can.
Nice job! It took me back to many take off's. Felt like I was sitting next to you. And yes, shiny wing!!
im a little shocked at the first class is just a partition. its not like on tv with a curtain lol
I think it depends on the plane. I've seen some where there is an actual wall seperating from the main cabin seats.
Great video. Did you use your phone?
Yes i did
Eres de México? Me gustan mucho tus vídeos. Haz unos en español estaría padre
si soy Guanajuato, ahorita ando pensando en traducir algunos videos (especialmente los de Mexico) al español, ya luego empiezo a trabajar en eso.
I always wanted to fly on Delta. I am hoping to plan a trip to Seattle next year and hopefully catch a 767-300ER over there and back if they still run the aircraft.
Awsome video
Today I was on a delta airplane I flew from Honolulu Hawaii to Seattle Washington plus they have good movies
Thank you for this review. I booked a first class flight with Delta on the 737-700 & 737-900.
I've been flying international and I'm accustomed to Qatar, Turkish and Emirates airlines mostly that I think I'm spoiled.
I thought the food in Delta's first class would have been more appealing. It just looks like economy class food in my opinion.
But, the seats look roomy and supposedly they serve complimentary cocktails too like other airlines.
Do you recall if first class deplanes first like other airlines do?
Delta is the only airline that has IFE's in their 737-900's
This was not experience on my Delta flight first class last. Seemed like leg room was much different on my flight from SLC to JFK, Once the passengers reclined their seats it was very difficult to get out of your seat ! Two screaming babies didn’t help ! No accessories like a pillow, blanket warm towels either !! Food was good ! No way of watching “My Flight” to track your progress ! I was very disappointed !
Ive never been on a plane before and i got mad anxiety watching this😟
I have one correction. You mentioned "Delta 737-9's have 3 lavatories and they're all in the back". They have 4 lavatories. One in First Class and 3 in the back. Just sayin'.
I'm sorry for the lack of description, I meant to say in economy cabin... I'm fully aware of the 4th lav
At 9:00 it never ceases to amaze me, no matter what airline I fly, how people completely ignore the requirements to stay seated and get up to use the bathroom before the plane has reached cruising altitude.... and they always want to use the bathroom at the front in first class. I flew Jetblue and we were still VERY steep in our climb at about 5000 feet when someone trecked up from coach class to use the first class bathroom! And what sucked was that there was a line filling up first class for the bathroom, before the plane even reached cruising altitude, and first class people had to wait for rule breaking coach class people to finish with the bathroom before they could even get in.
I won't even mention the idiot guy who decided to walk front to back laps on the plane from the back of coach and up into first class on Alaska Airlines and back again for MOST of the flight, and even while the seatbelt sign was clearly illuminated. Seriously, a plane is not your temporary Planet Fitness walking track! (I guess I did mention him, but seriously, this getting up before reaching cruising altitude is a real trigger for me.) I am glad that flight attendant waved him off. That looks pretty respectable for first class. Better than Alaska.
Your meal didn't look too appetizing.
That's sad.
Great video quality. Too bad the drinks were not cleared. And the food definitely did not look first class grade.
How tiny and cramped even in first! I haven't flown in years. Back in the day such a long flight would warrant at least a 757. I've seen old, old videos where Delta would run L1011's on flights like this.
First class used to feel like you never left your living room recliner, there wasn't many seats available, you'd forget that there was even a plane full of passengers behind you and of course it was a massive price difference..Today there is more seats in first class and you get an exhilarating small men's shoe size more legroom of maybe 8 inches? A slightly wider seat, made it more affordable, but left the class in the past..The first class flyers of the past are now on private jets. Its more a mental satisfaction and something to brag about today. The seat luxury during domestic does not differ much in first compared to economy...
Now international flights you get a true first-class experience!
thought there was a bathroom also in the front blind the cockpit
That is where the front lav is. The pilots will not go to the back of the plane to relieve themselves. Perhaps Delta has decided to restrict access to the forward lav. Or maybe there is another reason.
I took two first class flight in August 2018. On the 737 900 row 2 C and d.was much the same as this fight but shorter .bd l to atl. Return flight jobs me 88. Very quiet
Delta is one of my faves
Hey bro can you record when you’re leaving the airplane
I will never use American Airlines again after what they did to my luggage. Plus, the missed flights. Lack of food in First Class. No reimbursement. This will be my first Delta First Class flight and it already looks like a much better experience!
Do you know which tail numbers in Delta's 737-900ER fleet have the smaller Sky bins and not the larger Space bins?
I don’t know what year but it’s not the newest one that you were in (I was in that one once it was hot) I think it is the model before that where it was perfect
4th lav in the front! 12:17
Got booked on a Delta flight with a lousy seat, so I promptly paid the fee for a first class upgrade. Only about $100. Very much looking forward to it. Row 1 seat A versus all the way at the back of the plane by the bathrooms.. Uh no thanks. That seat was not my idea. No way. IDK of the only open seat is first class, I will not fly next to the back bathrooms. Did that once. Nooooo.
because of the tiny sinks and that plane tap water is incredibly dirty, i just use hand gel.
Could you review the salt shakers too, next time? Thanks!
Delta is a great airline to go on, not only are first classes cheaper, but even general boarding is just as comfy! Plus you get drinks and snacks, which feel like your in first class! The flights are clean, and the delta folks in Wichita, Kansas are quite nice. My flight to Atlanta was very smooth
One last thing, All you have to do to get Wi-Fi, is if you have Wi-Fi Avalible (Sorry I know a lot of English but still mess up, I'm from Vietnam) Is to sign up for the Delta Airlines and bam, Wi-Fi. Also the folks in Atlanta are happy to give you tickets to airline hotels and hire drivers from the hotels to drive you there, Overall, flights are smooth, but one downside, I not sure if the floor is thurly cleaned and if the tables are clean everyday, also the bathrooms, I'm not sure if they are clean either. Either way I choose Delta over many airlines.
Edit: After reading the comments I have learned that BlueJet is a great airline too. I have never flew on that airline before, the only footage I have seen is BuzzFeed.
Edit: You are know the person I watch before buying first class tickets.
I'm curious if the back row of first class still has full reclining capability? Thanks in advance.
Your lunch as served with a side of Salad and Turbulence, iTripReport
i ve been in the slc terminal
I flew on that exact plane last night
There’s a lav up front...
Nice trip report. Personally, as far as F/C meal service, I didn’t see anything different than AA. And, I usually get to pre-order my selection. Being a 1M AAdvantage member, I doubt I’ll be jumping ship so to speak PTV or not. 😉
I flew a plain when i was 5 alone, to see my grandma in Chile. And i was so stupid that i went in first class, when we where gonna land a lady said, i’m sorry but you dont sit here!!
Temperatures upon arrival will be in the 50's high temperatures in the upper 80's
Is first class Worth upgrading to
Delta is a great airline, all we know, but in RUclips opinion, actually, what's the best airline in US?
Alaska Airlines.
What do the other carriers use for entertainment sine you said Delta only uses this one?
They don't charge for the headphones anymore, everbody get them
The 737's from the classic to the MAX are ground grippers. They seem to be refusing to lift off the runway. That 13,000 ft runway was well used. I have a theory that the only way a 737 gets into the air is due to the curvature of the earth. The 757 can lift off in half the distance.
then how does a united 737 or delta 737 take off in jackson hole airport which only has 5,900 ft of runway
This one used about 7500 feet, not the worst considering the altitude. It’s mostly the the extended length B738 and B739 which are the biggest ground grippers.
Some 737NG's have short field performance packages so they can operate in 6,000 feet or less runways.
What’s the song
Diego Ramos DJ Quads Wings
Thank u so much. I want to fly with delta but didnt want to pay for it and then i get their and the flight is trash
My family and I flew first class from Atlanta to Tokyo last year and I was not impressed at all. The food was alright, service was okay, and the seats were ho-hum. We will not pay to fly first class on Delta again, anytime soon. I know, go ahead, all you haters out there. But after you fly airlines like Singapore, Korean, Etihad, and Lufhansa, you know what I'm talking about.
Delta Lags Behind.
Alessi for delta
I flew delta 737 900 outfrom slc to Fll
That’s not “first class”. That’s just a rip-off.
I disagree.
Nathan Ryan it’s a 7 3 7
and it’s fucking domestic
you people
