    4:35 Meddy thought about doing a Bublik 'racket handle' trick shot, but changed his mind

    It is good to appreciate the desire to get better of both player. They are not afraid of practicing together, let the best man win. Both of these guys, are the type of professionals that want to compete with their opponents at their best level. Your best self vs the best self of the opponent. In most other sports and even some players in tennis would not want to practice with their opponents out the fear of their opponents learning how to defeat them. Great maturity in Carlos and Daniil.

    Google search doesn't have the MEN'S "Toronto" nor "Canadian" open, nor with the addition of MEN'S OR ATP...
    Even when searching as stated above, ONLY the women's matches/scores show up.

      @@ManBearPig14 child,im not a Spaniard and no,Medvedev said in interview that he already trained before this practice session with Carlos,but for Carlos that was first practice in Toronto,and never forget no player in the world shows his strength in practice,even Roger said that he often lost a practice set to more weaker players,but when it came to the match,he was almost unbeatable

    • @pureffm
      @pureffm 10 месяцев назад +6

      Faster hard courts favor Daniil because it takes away Carlo's main strength which is when he has time to arm his shots he will perforate the opponent's defense. It will definitely be closer than their previous encounter on hard at Indian Wells but Carlos still can use his serve and volley and drop shots very effectively against Daniil. Here in this training practice he was mainly rehearsing his down the line shots to fine tune the length and angles, so it is normal to see more unforced errors. Daniil is very strong on faster hard courts, he beat Novak and on a good day can be a threat to Carlos.
