There are a couple of stitches on your sewing machine. Your manual should have the details. But it takes longer than a serger. There is also a foot that makes tiny rolled hems. See if your manual helps or look on RUclips for different feet or presser feet that explain what each foot does. I’m also learning. Good luck

I forgot. There is some zigzag stitch that makes a hem called lettuce hem. It’s curly and very pretty. It’s not difficult but time-consuming.
