- Today I decided to embark on an epic journey from the city in Plymouth, to the heights of Dartmoor, in search of a good spot to take my girlfriend bikepacking. I figured Fogginator Quarry would be a good spot, although twists and turns happen along the way that might throw a spanner in the works for that idea.

It's Foggintor. As in Foggin. Tor.

KSP players when they realize there's scattering and volumetric clouds outside

first this, then space this week!
02:48 oops meant to say "parallel" not "perpendicular" my bad
how could u do this
Oh my gosh it is Matt lowne
I can’t believe _the_ Matt Lowne would respond to some random, small RUclipsr’s comment! Truly an amazing, charitable and considerate man.
What a pleasant surprise to wake up to! I really do enjoy these videos
Fogginator 😂Anyways, fun ride!
Matt should give Dartmoor Classic a go next year 😈
I'm not really into road cycling (I don't own a road bike lol), but I always do the Tour De Moor!
I just did 70km ride! Although there was no elevation change and I was still knackered at the end of it - I can't imagine doing onto the moor
i love these videos
i wish i was that close to dartmoor to be able to cycle to it from my house
Where’s about are you? I’m lucky to live on the moor so I can do this any day I want
@@alphafoxtrotzulu4235 crediton, i guess that could be considered cycling distance for a pro but i havnt even made it as far as exeter yet
You could camp around nun's cross farm. You rode past it on this ride. It's the house in the middle of nowhere past the Princetown 'summit' there's a leat with running water nearby and it's pretty flat.
My concern would be that it's a bit exposed and technically private property, part of Mount Kelly School?
@@MattLowne Trust me nobody is checking.
The first two minutes of the his video show how good the cycling infrastructure is in Plymouth 👍🏻
Probably the only reason you would want to visit Plymouth though 🤣🤣
I love theses Dartmoor videos. How do you find tracks to ride - is it just local knowledge?
Doesnt orbit my rocket is the equivalent of doesnt float my boat
The sudden fealization of driving on the left occasionally makes me panic. This from someone who grew up driving on the left.
For what its worth every time ive gone camping there have been signs everywhere saying you arent allowed to camp but me not caring went anyway and turns out a lot of other people dont care either and the stream i camped on had about 6 other groups within a 400m section lol
Haha fair enough, was that at Fogginator Quarry or somewhere else?
@@MattLowne It was in the peak district, my thoughts were "how are they gonna catch me?" unless theyre checking every night all over dartmoore they arent gonna catch you lol
@@Chromaz tbh these were my thoughts too 😉
@@MattLowne especially if you dont set your tent up until later on when theres noone around and then pack it all away in the morning theres no harm in it. If someone does catch you just say you entered the quarry from the other side and there were no signs
i came here from the main channel. i bike too!
I like the 'idea' of cycling but i just like hearing you awkwardly ramble about something youre passionate about and i like trying to follow your route on my second monitor on google maps. Thats not weird right?
As an American, I'm obliged to dunk on brits as part of celebrating the day we made the mistake of winning by saying our car infrastructure is way more dominant over all other methods of travel in comparison to yours.
I'm totally not saying this out of jealousy and I definitely dont watch these videos as a coping mechanism.
