As funny as it is to me when they do the bit where Ryan prompts a sponsor segment and then it just goes right back to them after the transition- I’m so happy to see them getting more sponsors!
When I first started watching Ryan and Shane doing ghost business and found out Ryan was a parks person, I always hoped he’d talk more about it at some point and I genuinely look forward to this podcast each week! I worked at both universal and Disney in Orlando and I love hearing you guys talk about fun facts, ride lore and opinions! :)
I have to hand it to Ryan, he left a big company like Buzzfeed only to make multiple successfully entertaining channels. Ryan you are an inspiration man keep going!
As someone who cant do large crowds ill probably never go to a theme park myself so i absolutely love this pod! ❤ These rides / attractions seem so fun! The joy you all have for them is infectious. Keep it up boys! 💯
If you haven't already, there's definitely plenty of ride through videos for a lot of these attractions that you can check out so you can get an idea even further of what they're discussing about each as well!
I WAS WAITING FOR THE FRESHBAKED FEATURE!!!! Y'all, this has to be one of my favorite podcasts out there. I might be biased towards disney rides because I'm a disney girlie, but I have loved every episode and the guests you guys bring on!! Please keep this up at least till I'm through grad school and hopefully beyond lol
Ppl will definitely listen to anything as long as it's being talked about with passion. I haven't stepped foot in an amusement park in at least two decades (no head for heights eliminates most rides for me) but I still look forward to each new episode. Also, kudos on adding in guests as it provides an extra voice to help break any ties that come up
14:39 I was there a week after it opened and it was a 7 hour long wait and so hot that people were passing out and had to be taken out of the line on a stretcher. Never going to a brand new ride after that lol.
Happy belated birthday Ryan! I look forward to celebrating this podcast's own birthday next year, and hopefully many years afterward. This is a highlight of my Tuesdays. I greatly enjoy Ryan and Byron's unique take on these rides, I am learning so much each episode, and have rewatched each one at least three times. Having enjoyed Ryan's appearances on Charityland, it's wonderful to see the theme park community extending to now appear on your podcast as well. Cheers!
I was in the single rider line for Radiator Springs Racers in maybe 2018 and met Jon Hale who’s been on the ride over 10,700 times in just over 5 years. It’s always fun to meet a super fan of a specific Disney ride.
This is one of my favorite podcasts bc I love amusement parks but don't get to travel much, so this is an awesome way to learn about different attractions ❤
Loving this podcast so far as a fellow parks person! And now yall got one of my favorite Disney RUclipsrs! Keep it going. Love yalls takes! Need to get Provost Park Pass and Ordinary Adventures as guest as well
Ok, so I am pretty much the opposite of these park heads. I live in Colorado; I went to Disney world in Florida once when I was 14 and haven’t been able to go back since. I didn’t even know there was a theme park ride fandom in the world. But I love Watcher and I find this podcast fascinating and also very relaxing to listen to. Nice to hear a discussion of an easy fun topic.
Man I just thoroughly enjoy these podcasts. You’ve had absolute top notch guests so far and some very interesting conversations. This pod perfectly fills a weekly pod hole for me so I very much appreciate it. Love what you guys are doing!
This is such a great podcast guys. As a theme park head, you guys hit everything just right. It makes me so happy to see a new ep every week! I hope you continue doing this one
I remember years ago when living in Nebraska Larry the Cable guy called into a radio station in his normal voice and I was surprised it was an act. If you search his old stand up material its more apparent.
this podcast is the first and only time ive been so excited and moved abt a show that ive felt prompted to write pen and paper fanmail LOL (a comment will have to do for now :D) absolutely love the pod, byron, ryan, and all the guests are so passionate abt theme parks and its so much fun to see them have fun and discuss the ins and outs of theme parks! literally cant get enough of the podcast i hope it never ends 🫶🏻🫶🏻
i'm glad you have fresh baked on here, you should have david on more. also paging mr morrow is another one you should have on, he's another that knows quite a bit about disney history
It's been a while since I saw Fresh Baked, used to watch his content while in hs, since I'm also a Disney fan and love the updates he does. So glad you guys are doing this podcast, keep it coming❤
I am delighted every time one of these podcasts come out 💜 count me as a loyal fan for here on out! Also, for the mirror thing, the add new tires! It doesn’t always work, but after guido changes your tires, they have a white band on the tires now, implying they’re new tires!
Way back when I was like 7, my mom won a lottery to see Cars land early. I still remember this being my first “big ride.” Glad to see you guys covering this. Also GO PANTHERS!!!!
Next or future guest gotta b five fires Cali bae 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Love how u guys don't get normal Disney vloggers but foos who kick it there and see how the park plays out throughout the year. Keep it up y'all I'm here for the long run now
I feel silly being this guy, but I was an opening team cast member for Racers, it was a blast! I'd love to send more fun facts your way if you have any interest Ryan and Byron, LOVE the show and have just discovered yall, and have been watching fiendishly! Thanks for everything yall are crushing it!
I will say this about Larry the Cable Guy… he is SO incredibly nice and absolutely hilarious in person. He definitely found a niche, like it or not (looking at you, Bergmeister) and it’s worked for him! But honestly, super cool and nice guy when he isn’t Mater.
For Prime Time they used to "scold" you like a mother would for not eating your vegetables and such, but too many people complained and didn't understand that it was just apart of the theming so the cast members don't do it as much.
DCA is my favorite Disney park. There are others that are “better” but DCA is my favorite because of the love and attention in Cars Land specifically. I went on a road trip from Texas to Vancouver and back with my mom and our favorite part was going through Utah and New Mexico and seeing some of Route 66. When we did a similar trip from Anchorage down to Texas I insisted we do a day at Disneyland, my first Disneyland trip ever. I went back for Christmas and got to see DCA, got to see Cars Land, and I’ve never felt the love and Imagineer put into something more. My DCA day is usually spent going from Racers to Guardians, and when FastPass was a thing I’d be doing those FastPasses and using the down time in between for people watching or doing the character drawing classes.
I love the Cars i.p. My Dad's a car guy, and we traveled a lot via road trip as a kid. I had a son when this movie came out, and realized how rare "boys" animated movies were in the Disney arena (To be clear, any gender can watch/relate to any movie they want. My son just didn't care to watch The Little Mermaid with me lol). Luckily, we were able to watch this one together, over and over and it tied together all of my childhood memories, with new memories I was having with my son❤
I actually worked on that ride. I worked for the company that made all the trees for the ride. There’s a tree at the start when you enter I call the monster tree. When sculpting it, I made a monster face on it. It’s covered now, but I know it’s there.
When the last time an old IP attraction has lasted longer than 20 years? Is there any ride like that out there? If not, I think radiator springs racers will for sure be the first given how specialized it all is. I think a fun comparison to make is how the Flintstones are still being used to market, cocoa, and fruity pebbles after all these years
This is the first ride you've covered that i regularly skip when I'm at the park. Maybe Im just spoiled as a local but i refuse to wait more than 45 minutes for this ride and finding a wait time under that is super rare, so i think ive maybe only been on this one half a dozen times. Maybe its because like Ryan Cars is right at the bottom of my favorite pixar movie list, but I'd much rather go ride mission breakout a 2nd or 3rd time.
Though a little too premature in length, Journey To The Center Of The Earth is superior to Radiator Springs Racers. It helps all the animatronics in Tokyo Disney are well maintained unlike our’s in Anaheim. 😬
This is a nitpick, but you don't have to buy the general Genie+ in order to get the Genie+ for this ride, you just get the one for Racers (which is what I do if I'm in a big group, go on the other rides regularly but get Genie+ just for this ride and Rise)
i haven't been to Disneyland, but i feel like i'd enjoy RSR more than Test Track (despite the fact that TT goes so much faster, which IS fun). at this point, TT feels... confusing... and i think RSR seems very cohesive and FUN
I remember going to the cast preview for Cars Land and so not caring. I hate the Cars movie, but I also wanted to be able to know about it when guests asked me what was there. I was so not ready for how great it was, just a really well designed land with a super fun main attraction. You don’t need to love the IP to appreciate a good theme park land
So glad they stopped killing their guests before they come on.
Agreed, love this pod, watching on my TV now on my hubbys RUclips
😂
As funny as it is to me when they do the bit where Ryan prompts a sponsor segment and then it just goes right back to them after the transition- I’m so happy to see them getting more sponsors!
On the podcast apps, there are sponsors there!
yessss i love that Ryan gets to have a podcast about theme parks!! he has a way of describing things i also feel passionate about lol
Yes! The legendary FreshBaked! Spotting him at Disneyland is like finding Bigfoot. The best channel for everything Disneyland/DCA.
I have to hand it to Ryan, he left a big company like Buzzfeed only to make multiple successfully entertaining channels. Ryan you are an inspiration man keep going!
First Dallon now David. Great guests!
YESSS!!! The most epic crossover ever, Fresh Baked is the best. Loving this podcast guys!!
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite podcasts. Please keep them coming 🙏🏼
As someone who cant do large crowds ill probably never go to a theme park myself so i absolutely love this pod! ❤ These rides / attractions seem so fun! The joy you all have for them is infectious. Keep it up boys! 💯

On Luigi's side, the mirror shows whitewall tires on the car. It's an interesting effect.
I worked on this attraction as a sound tech loved my time there 😊 now I'm over in galaxys edge
Ppl will definitely listen to anything as long as it's being talked about with passion. Offhand Disney is punching the air right now at that subtle Living with the Land name drop
Need to get Provost Park Pass and Ordinary Adventures as guest as well
It's so funny to me seeing Ryan and David together, worlds colliding! I am loving this show so far and I hope you have David back again in the future.
I was hoping to see fresh-baked on this podcast one day so excited
omg WHATTTT this crossover was not something i was expecting but omg !!!! two of my fave channels :')
Ok, so I am pretty much the opposite of these park heads. I live in Colorado; I went to Disney world in Florida once when I was 14 and haven’t been able to go back since. Omg Fresh Baked!!!! Amazing crossover!!
NEVER did I expect watcher x fresh baked!! So exciting!!
Radiator springs racers, fresh baked. My heart is so happy right now!!
I love this podcast so much. It brings so much happiness and nostalgia I need you guys to make this pod forever
Oh man this podcast just keeps getting better! Great job guys!
Fresh Baked crossover!!!! So excited
So excited for this episode! I quite literally got on the the car he got off of on RSR earlier this afternoon! Love Fresh Baked!
I freaking love this podcast
Man I just thoroughly enjoy these podcasts. You’ve had absolute top notch guests so far and some very interesting conversations. This pod perfectly fills a weekly pod hole for me so I very much appreciate it. Love what you guys are doing!

Yay! Fresh Baked!

lets go!!! FRESH BAKED!!
You're going to need to get Dallin/Offhand Disney back to do Living with the Land since you just disparaged it.
Freshbaked!!!! 🎉 Yassss!!!! 👏
holy shit, freshbaked!!!!
IIRC, the car changes color when you watch the paint job in the mirror.
Stoked to see all the sponsors this ep! Woohoooo catching some momentum
@31:00 the mirror is there to show that Guido put white wall tires on your car. There is a white circle that gets projected on your car.
Absolutely LOVE this pod. I would love to see a pirates ep with Molly from mammoth club
I can confirm. Lightening McQueen escorts you to the entrance of the ride at rope drop. Just did that today. Someone tell Ryan 😂
i'm glad you have fresh baked on here, you should have david on more. also paging mr morrow is another one you should have on, he's another that knows quite a bit about disney history
Love all your guests!! Fresh Baked is great.
Would love to see Ordinary Adventures or Mammoth Club (but they're in Florida) 😊
Second on Ordinary Adventures!!
Just binged every episode of this podcast. I can't wait for more!
Always love how ant man and wasp have the old bugs land shrunk to the palm of their hand if you come across them. Cute little homage to the old land.
That Living With The Land hate right at the end...Offhand Disney is gonna need a word.
It's been a while since I saw Fresh Baked, used to watch his content while in hs, since I'm also a Disney fan and love the updates he does. So glad you guys are doing this podcast, keep it coming❤
Best FYA ep yet.
I hope yall doing pirates of the Caribbean or big thunder
I am delighted every time one of these podcasts come out 💜 count me as a loyal fan for here on out!
Also, for the mirror thing, the add new tires! It doesn’t always work, but after guido changes your tires, they have a white band on the tires now, implying they’re new tires!
I love seeing them feature some amusement park guests! Hope they invite Greg and Daina, or Randomland Aka Justin Scarred
Love the episodes so far, Are you guys gonna cover attractions from smaller parks, outside of Disney/Universal?
Agreed, PA has some decent amusement parks
The ultimate colab!!!! I was manifesting!!!!
Way back when I was like 7, my mom won a lottery to see Cars land early. I still remember this being my first “big ride.” Glad to see you guys covering this. Also GO PANTHERS!!!!
OMG IT’S FRESH BAKED!!! I don’t even like podcasts typically, but I LOVE this series
I’ve been waiting for this oneeee
I will say this about Larry the Cable Guy… he is SO incredibly nice and absolutely hilarious in person. He definitely found a niche, like it or not (looking at you, Bergmeister) and it’s worked for him! But honestly, super cool and nice guy when he isn’t Mater.
The mirror is so you can see your new whitewalls. Doesn’t Lightning admire himself in a mirror in the movie? I can’t remember
I look forward to this podcast every week!😌
For Prime Time they used to "scold" you like a mother would for not eating your vegetables and such, but too many people complained and didn't understand that it was just apart of the theming so the cast members don't do it as much.
Ha! They got Dave. Awesome.
Yay my weekly serotonin has arrived
This podcast brings me so much joy
Keep it up guys, love Watcher!!

The way I fangirled so hard when I saw it was fresh baked !!!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
OH MY GOSH!!!! FRESH BAKED!!!
I adore this podcast, highlight of my week.
I love the Cars i.p. My Dad's a car guy, and we traveled a lot via road trip as a kid. I had a son when this movie came out, and realized how rare "boys" animated movies were in the Disney arena (To be clear, any gender can watch/relate to any movie they want. Luckily, we were able to watch this one together, over and over and it tied together all of my childhood memories, with new memories I was having with my son❤
unironically an incredible crossover
even tho i love them i dont know shit about theme parks so god bless this podcast
I don’t even go on rides cause they scare me, but I enjoy hearing their passion for this so much!!
I actually worked on that ride. I worked for the company that made all the trees for the ride. There’s a tree at the start when you enter I call the monster tree. When sculpting it, I made a monster face on it. It’s covered now, but I know it’s there.

I think a fun comparison to make is how the Flintstones are still being used to market, cocoa, and fruity pebbles after all these years
White wall tires are what appear in the mirror. It's a pepper's ghost effect. The actual ride vehicle has plain black tires
Another banger episode boys!
This is the first ride you've covered that i regularly skip when I'm at the park. Maybe Im just spoiled as a local but i refuse to wait more than 45 minutes for this ride and finding a wait time under that is super rare, so i think ive maybe only been on this one half a dozen times. Aye fresh baked!!!
FRESH BAKED!
DAVID !!!
As a Disney passholder I CHOOSE to go when it’s raining and the hurricane because the crowds are basically nonexistent!!! And I’ll do it again haha
Love this podcast. Never end it!
For real though right before a hurricane was the best experience theme park wise. No waits anywhere. My anxiety was through the roof though 😅
Though a little too premature in length, Journey To The Center Of The Earth is superior to Radiator Springs Racers. It helps all the animatronics in Tokyo Disney are well maintained unlike our’s in Anaheim. 😬
Fresh Baked!
what’s with the living with the land slander, ryan? living with the land is a world class attraction. i’ll die on this hill
It really is one of the only true redeeming details in the California Adventure park.
This is a nitpick, but you don't have to buy the general Genie+ in order to get the Genie+ for this ride, you just get the one for Racers (which is what I do if I'm in a big group, go on the other rides regularly but get Genie+ just for this ride and Rise)
I love fresh baked 💖 been following everyone on here for over a decade 😂
Small thing love that they used the Dis footage love my fandoms collide lol
I hope you guys cover Expedition Everest
When Ryan started listing off facts about the queue I realized I knew nothing about the queue whatsoever since I'm a single rider
i haven't been to Disneyland, but i feel like i'd enjoy RSR more than Test Track (despite the fact that TT goes so much faster, which IS fun). at this point, TT feels... confusing... and i think RSR seems very cohesive and FUN
