This one was really fun to listen to! Thank you guys for showing me this. I hope everyone is doing really well. Like, not even kinda well. REALLY REALLY WELL! Stay strong out there folks ❤️🤘🏼
H@rd3r I feel might be my favorite song in The Nothing! That song, was heavy in all the right ways, catchy, and the lyrics were top notch. Who else agrees that The Nothing is probably Korn's best album of the past 15 years!?
The more Korn reactions the better!!! Songs like Insane, Here to Stay, Hater, Children of the Korn w Ice Cube. Korn/Slipknot live playing a bestie boy song. Even check out Johnathan David solo stuff.
LOL vocal solo, well yea I guess, that is Jonathan's signature heavy metal SKAT vocals, you have seen him do it before but your damn right no other band sounds like this and yes this is music, do more KORN
@Christopher Bingham It's still new because and sounds powerful, how he layered it and with the guitars. Freak on a leash had good production but wasn't heavy and loud as todays korn.
That weird noise you were hearing come out of Jon’s mouth was his reggae beat-boxing. He first heard it from Bob Marley, and Micheal Jackson from his song They Don’t Care About Us
Brian coming back to this band was the best thing that could have happened to them. This song sounds more like classic Korn than anything they did after he left. This song rules.
I really think for your next full album reaction, you should do Korns Follow The Leader album. It is by far my favorite album by ANY band! Every single song is great, no filler songs whatsoever.
Ive seen them 3 times went to aftershock festival and they had by far the craziest crowd ive been apart of. Incredible live band. In my top 5-10 for sure
cas shamblin they definitely put on a great concert. I've seen them live 7 or 8 times. I'd have to dig out my concert t-shirt box and count them for the exact number. I buy a t-shirt from every concert I've been to, and the box is pretty damn big. It sucks that I can no longer do concerts due to disability. But at least from age 18-30 something I was always looking for concerts to go to.
Jonathan Davis expanded on the song's meaning to Rolling Stone. "It's a song about relationships, about dealing with people and their bulls--t," he said. "All the pain and ... putting yourself through this constantly and constantly, going through this negative stuff that really irritates you. You're sitting rotting and you're doing it for no reason because it's never going to get better."
JD(vocalist of KoRn) said when he was writing this song it's about a relationship with no growth, it's just at a platow and there's no support, no uplifting, no growth, just stuck in a spot that can eventually make you feel like you're not going anywhere within that relationship, hense Rotting in Vain. But I can totally agree with your interpretation of what the song could mean for you🤘🏻😊 Thanks once again for spreading such positivity into this video, Alex! I truly, deeply needed it today!!😊
Korn saves lives. They saved my life from a very early age as a pre teen in the 90s. Korn fans are one of most dedicated fans, even today, We are children of the korn. BTW, you should listen to korn's Collaboration with Ice cube on the FTL album that is called, children of the Korn 😂
I'm in the live official video of this song. They shot it at Chicago Open Air 2016. They told everybody that they were shooting the video and I had to be crowdsurfed out afterward. The pit was insane.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!! Day 18: Escape the fate- ungrateful Avatar - smells like a freakshow Kamelot and Simone Simons - the haunting FFDP - inside out Apocalyptica - not strong enough BMTH - can you feel my heart Red - darkest part PLEAAAASEEEE !!!!!!!!!!
I'm a korn fan from first album S.O.S is one of my top3 korm albums it really is that good,,, People say The Nothing is but no S.O.S is an album that's their best efforts since issues or FTL
Rotting in vain gave me that genuine "korn" feeling , that i haven't felt since their 'untouchables' album. For me , korn has always been about how they made me feel. Not just their lyrics or how hard their music is. Thoughtless , trash , no one's there are all titles that helped me cope with something in my life. There is no "best" korn song , only classics. There's a difference in my opinion.
It’s nice hearing them going back to their “roots.” This sound is what got me hooked on Korn in the 90’s. I liked their more electronic stuff, but nowhere as much as the base that is the anguished sound of JD and The hard riffs from everyone else.
There’s a reason Korn is still around and making/selling records when other bands from that era have died and gone away. TIMELESS. They reinvent themselves EVERY. SINGLE. ALBUM. And they don’t cater to bullshit fan service. If THEY want to do something creatively that’s outside of the box, they DO IT because THEY want to. That’s how art SHOULD be. If you get fans along the way, great, if not, whatever. The best art comes from the artists who create for themselves FIRST and everyone else second.
One of my favorite Korn songs! Would love to see more Korn reactions, especially from their new album, The Nothing, it is a VERY dark and heavy album but so amazing! You should also hit Coming Undone, Twisted Transister, and Right Now! Hope all is well your way.
A LOT of jokes have been made on Korn because of them being grouped in the genre "Nu-metal" . When in reality , if you have ever seen them live , you KNOW you had to pick up your brain matter down the street afterwards. Amazing sound.
I have seen KoRn live more than 10x. they are one of the best bands in metal. Id highly suggest you go to a live show. Korns lyrics always bring alot of emotions because of Jonathan's life.
I think you should really check out Jonathan Davis - Basic Needs! It's one the Korn's singer's solo songs. Very sick song and would love to see a reaction!
It makes me happy to see that you enjoy the songs I loved growing up listening to and am now addicted to. There's just something magical about the rock genre man I'm telling you. It's art. It's expression. It's well you fill in the blank with what you think it is and you are probably right. I have a passion for it and love it.
This album was a glorious return for the band, who had been experimenting for a while to varying degrees of success, i remember the day this music video went up it was incredible, then a month later they put up the video to Insane which i HIGHLY recommend.
Take a closer look at both the book Tommy is reading ;) the author who wrote it is the same man in the portrait Johnathan Davis rams his head through. Charles Sheldon, and the book is 'In His Steps'. It directly reflects the mentality that Davis is portraying in the song which so nailed in your afterthought. So glad you got round to this one 🤘
The reason Korn is still my favorite band to this day, is because they have done something that not many artists can do. They have remained relevant and innovated there sound while still sounding like the band Korn that I fell in love with back in 2000. The sick beat boxing that Jonathan Davis does in this song while including electronic sounds is so cool. Not my favorite from Korn, but certainly an evolution of the band that I am here for!
Now that's very funny. I was a hiphop head way back in the day. Back in 1998 I started finding myself not liking popular rap/hiphop. I received KoRn - Follow The Leader album and my life was changed. I transitioned from a hip hop head to a metal head. Nu Metal has always been my favorite metal genre.
Love Korn!! Been a HARDCORE fan since the first album 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 fuck yeah!!! I’ve seen Korn 16 times in concert and it’s fucking INCREDIBLE EVERY FUCKING TIME!!! The ABSOLUTE BEST WAS WOODSTOCK 99!! There are no words about how fucking incredible it was!! Alex, you have to see them live!!
Damn your reaction to this was wholesome like hahaha Honestly korn is a band i discovered with narcissistic cannibal, just the past year i really got into them and i can consider their sound like "that little voice at the back of my head" with the toppics they touch in the lyrics and the eco, it goes smoothly through your brain but the words just stick hardly there, confusion, dispair, sadness, rage, this drastic changes with some mental illness, trauma, sindromes. Gotta love them when i'm feeling down some of the songs i play touches what i'm feeling and help a lot like, idk linkin park, slipknot. God f*cking bless music.
I've recently noticed that (IMHO) you have the BEST volume ratio/mix of any reaction channel! I like that the music has great quality and I can clearly hear what you're saying, but your voice doesn't blast over the rest of the audio.
naww dude, u always make my day when i watch your videos and reactions. so much passion, and you`re so excited , keep that. u bein real. Cheers from Romania bruh!
INNOVATORS!!! They are amazing and were talking about things before people knew how to. They started a whole genre that other bands then copied, hence the name of what I think is their most financially successful album follow the leader. That scat that Jonathan Davis does is legendary. Plenty great music from them for you to check out.
This one was really fun to listen to! Thank you guys for showing me this. I hope everyone is doing really well. Like, not even kinda well. REALLY REALLY WELL! Stay strong out there folks ❤️🤘🏼
Dude PLEASE!!!!!!! REACT TO DEDICATED BY PARKWAY DRIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Avatar - Smells Like a Freakshow
pls 🥺
Hope you're staying safe
I was waiting to see if you'd jump at the start of the song. Was not disappointed. 😂
Try chutes and ladders from these guys AWESOME
Cold is one of Korn’s heaviest songs in a long time. They even add a little bit of death metal sound in that song.
David Morris agreed I loved the death metal sound cold is a dope song though
Cold is a super cool song. It's heavy, it's groovy, and it has an incredibly catchy chorus.
Best song ever!
Jon said he got the grindy vocals from Spencer in Sepultura
H@rd3r I feel might be my favorite song in The Nothing! That song, was heavy in all the right ways, catchy, and the lyrics were top notch. Who else agrees that The Nothing is probably Korn's best album of the past 15 years!?
Korn - Here to Stay!! One of my favorite riffs from Korn!!
Dude, he should do all of untouchables, lol
He should definitely react to thoughtless.
Every Korn Fan love that Song 🤷♂️😅
I think he should (as your profile pick suggestes) react to novelists
Here to Stay is my fave Korn song for sure, so good!
my favorite Korn song.
Jonathan hadnt done that "RAATANAATATUNNATTUN" in a while.
so cool to hear him do it again.
Anyone else want to see Alex react to Twist? It can't just be me.
Fuckin oath 🤘
Only if he listens to Chi as well
Ibacuummrababicaumrababicumcumbrrra
Yes please do both twist and chi
If he loved that one part of this song, he'd love twist/chi. So I agree!
The more Korn reactions the better!!! Songs like Insane, Here to Stay, Hater, Children of the Korn w Ice Cube. Korn/Slipknot live playing a bestie boy song. Even check out Johnathan David solo stuff.
His JDSFA stuf and Black Labyrinth work is really amazing and different!
Please do more korn!!!!!
I'd like to see him reacting to "Insane".
@@wolframvonstein509 LIEEEEEEEES!!
Idiosyncrasy
Fun fact, the guy in the video is Tommy Flanagan, who played Chibs on Sons of Anarchy and the scar on his face is 100% legit.
Fact 🤘
Jesus Christ Jackie boy
This whole album is truly amazing. They went on another level with this one. Probably my favorite korn albums.
The Serenity Of Suffering & The Nothing are just absolute gems. Not many bands can say that after 26 years of albums
My favorite album from Korn too!
Been a Korn fan since 1995. Here To Stay is thier best song and its not even close. That riff is unbelievable.
Korn is the definition of amazing. Always have been always will be. Long live Korn.
LOL vocal solo, well yea I guess, that is Jonathan's signature heavy metal SKAT vocals, you have seen him do it before but your damn right no other band sounds like this and yes this is music, do more KORN
Yeah! Only Jonathan can do that & I fucking love it!
I love when JD busts out the scat
@Christopher Bingham It's still new because and sounds powerful, how he layered it and with the guitars. Freak on a leash had good production but wasn't heavy and loud as todays korn.
We need more korn reactions
Y’all wanna single-Korn. Very funny and just down right fun song
Say F-that .. F that F that!!!!!!
Love that it only happened because the label wanted them to write a song that'd release as the lead single off the album, so they did that.
That weird noise you were hearing come out of Jon’s mouth was his reggae beat-boxing. He first heard it from Bob Marley, and Micheal Jackson from his song They Don’t Care About Us
his reaction to "that weird noise" makes me think he's never heard freak on a leash, or at least hardly ever listens to korn lol
Listen to Twist
@@barb7124 Life is Peachy is such an underrated album.
Otherwise known as Scat mate. It's just his metal version of what crooners do
@@erikguthrie8578 actually he did a reaction of freak on a leash with his mom
Plz do the song from Korn: Right Now
Can’t find a way to get across the hate when I see you!!
K@#T,old skool KoRn
One of my favorite KoRn songs, but the clip sucks
Right Now Live at CBGB
I second this. The clip is weird, but should be fun watching alex react to it!
When Jonathan Davis goes off:
Time for supernova!
Korn is still killing it! Love them moda center. Portland. That was a dope show!!!
Brian coming back to this band was the best thing that could have happened to them. This song sounds more like classic Korn than anything they did after he left. This song rules.
Been literally asking for this reaction since the beginning. Thank you! Glad to see you enjoy JDs scatting!
It's been like 4 years since I first listened to this song and I still having this same feeling, this song is perfect

I really think for your next full album reaction, you should do Korns Follow The Leader album. It is by far my favorite album by ANY band! Every single song is great, no filler songs whatsoever.
