Ask any alumni in the 90s about Rollinson they couldn't even recognize him post 2011-ish because he was so chill. Coach Negro from Bosco kept beating MD so Rollinson called him and asked him the secret. Coach Negro told Rollinson you have to let kids be kids. You can't be a micromanager and be so strict about every little thing. Let them listen to music, do dances in practice, let them have fun and be in a flow state, Rollinson even incorporated Saomoan Drums and culture, etc. but he still demanded hard work and excellence from them, then MD's program blew up. Troy Thomas would pull out a starter from a big game if he wore the wrong socks etc. He's too demanding...it's football not the Navy Seals. Theres an LA article writing about how Servite lost 8+ returners and their coaching staff. They don't want to play for such a strict control freak

Ive seen videos of De La Salle, Orange Luthren, Mission viejo, Long Beach Polly and they wouldn’t even crack the top 10 in Texas. Yes, Cen10, Bosco and Mater Dei are the top dawgs but outside of that y’all underrating Texas big time. There’s about 30 6a teams in Texas that would give any Cali team a run for their money other than the big 3.
