I find it interesting the Islamic influence and knowledge is never mentioned. I'm new to this channel and loving the content thus far. However what really fascinates me is your narration style. As someone who enjoys voice acting and affecting accents. I have to say and I'd posit this has previously been commented upon in earlier videos, but your voice is a near perfect facsimile of that of the late Sir Christopher Lee. Is this your actual voice or have you put it through some species of A.I filter, because either way it's impressive. As someone with a deep interest in all things esoteric and the occult I understand the importance of theatre and cultivating a certain persona to maintain anonymity. In this regard I have to say Lee is an exceptionally good choice of affectation due to his popular culture associations with the occult via hammer horror and amicus productions. A suitable point of access to laymen seeking knowledge. I feel it's a voice of authority on an almost subliminal level to the modern ear. Aside from my query in regards to the narration, kudos for delivering a fascinating deep dive into the history of the Golden Dawn and it's practices that isn't overly Crowleycentric and puts emphasis on the importance of figures such as Mathers, Fortune, Yeats and Regardie. What a wonderful resource on this order. I’ve always been curious and besides some basic level research was put off by all the biases I came across. To be fair, some of which have been corroborated but true to human nature no person or group is perfect. An interesting tidbit, that I was unaware of, was that the doctrine is based off of the Cipher MSS which derives from Trithemius, Agrippa and Paracelsus’ teacher… man, the world really has been moved by a small number of great men and women. Such a great video. I often have reviewed different histories on the GD but they often have a bias depending on the point of view. I also find that these histories tend to cease after the break-up of the order, making it difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff when trying to track modern histories. I value this channel for the unbiased approach and wonder what may be next given this wisdom has continued to move across different groups, people, and continents. Well done.

I have tried to study the world of the occult for a while now and the who;e thing seems like one giant larp. I just cant get my head around whether any of these people actually believed this stuff or just tried to create a centralised power structure woven in layers of symbols and made up rites and rituals

However what really fascinates me is your narration style. As someone who enjoys voice acting and affecting accents. I have to say and I'd posit this has previously been commented upon in earlier videos, but your voice is a near perfect facsimile of that of the late Sir Christopher Lee. Is this your actual voice or have you put it through some species of A.I filter, because either way it's impressive. As someone with a deep interest in all things esoteric and the occult I understand the importance of theatre and cultivating a certain persona to maintain anonymity. In this regard I have to say Lee is an exceptionally good choice of affectation due to his popular culture associations with the occult via hammer horror and amicus productions. A suitable point of access to laymen seeking knowledge. I feel it's a voice of authority on an almost subliminal level to the modern ear.
Aside from my query in regards to the narration, kudos for delivering a fascinating deep dive into the history of the Golden Dawn and it's practices that isn't overly Crowleycentric and puts emphasis on the importance of figures such as Mathers, Fortune, Yeats and Regardie. Such a great video. I often have reviewed different histories on the GD but they often have a bias depending on the point of view. I also find that these histories tend to cease after the break-up of the order, making it difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff when trying to track modern histories. I value this channel for the unbiased approach and wonder what may be next given this wisdom has continued to move across different groups, people, and continents. Well done.
