Interesting. I have a visceral rejection of the post templar Baphomet symbolism created. In terms of the path of tradition IMO this path has descended since the Templars and been replaced by Jungian thought. The Jungian presentation is much more apt for the modern mind. IMO the main value of the symbol is to attune to Templar Wisdom. The terror at the threshold is most likely not overcome by attuning to men with feet of clay who apply a sexual expediency to spirituality. They are kind of doing it backwards.

I love this symbol. Lately the trans community hes adopted it enen though it's a hermaprodite.
