I actually think Shaye's tallness make her look like a model. Stand proud as you are absolutely stunning!! Amanda is so lovely, supportive and kind, what a beautiful couple ..I have loved watching your journey, thank you so much for sharing it.
It has educated and entertained me . Isn't it strange that those that should be kindest, for example 'religious people' can be so cruel.!! Shame on them!! xx

It’s been a little more than 8 years for me on hrt, but I noticed some of the same welcomed changes years ago. Having knowledgeable healthcare professionals monitor everything is really important. It’s frustrating that people (and lawmakers) have turned access to trans-related healthcare into a political issue. Thank you (both of you) for sharing your journey with us! I know it is helping families like yours and mine in so many ways.

I love how you are both taking us all on a Magical Mystery Tour. Because what we are learning from people such as yourselves about being more ourselves is that we truly have no borders or boundaries that we cannot transcend when we no longer fit within the limitations that we have been taught by our societies to conform to and to live in. You are both spiritual pioneers of our Higher Self. The Infinite is both male and female and that is the image that we and all things, animate an inanimate, were created in. It calls us to unconditional self-love and self-acceptance where ever we happen to be in the spectrum of divine polarities. Thanks for another great post. Love to both of you, your family and your journey. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

It's hard to put into words how much you two have helped me to understand what my transdaughter is going through. I so appreciate your openness and honesty. She waited until around age 32-33. I had no idea until she sent me a most eloquent letter. I wish we would have figured it out much earlier as there was so much depression and anxiety in her formative years. She seems way happier now. Thank you!

I had no idea that you lose height when you go on Estrogen! It's so crazy that you could lose so many inches with just the stuff between our bones. 😲 My son is trans and was 5'2 when he went on Testosterone - but it hasn't made him grow so it wasn't something I thought would causing shrinking the other way around 😂. I think the most fascinating thing about watching my son's journey (other than how much happier he became after starting hormones), is that he used to cry OFTEN, and has a very hard time crying now. Truly hormones are magical! Much love, you two. 👩‍❤‍💋‍👩

Hi Shaye and Amanda!!! My daughter is also taking the HRT and has shrunk two shoe sizes!!! She and her wife are so happy about it!!! I am so happy too. But as Amanda says, women come in all shapes and sizes!!! You do look like a beautiful model Shaye. Maybe that’s why people look. Doesn’t matter why they look. Your energy and Amanda’s energy is one of being true to yourself and that is very sexy. People must wonder… what is it you girls have that is so appealing!? Be well!!! The coming election is making people hunker down more in their points of view and fears. We let it go and realize that there is beauty in every moment and we love those who agree and disagree. Love does win.

Your story is quite familiar to me. Putting yourself out there in such a visible way benefits others, but also takes courage and I'm sure comes with a cost of dealing with that element of negativity that trans people face. I applaud you for putting yourself out there, both of you. I want nothing more, personally, than to blend in. I will fight the lies and distortions that I see, but still, I want to blend in. I'm older and that may account for some of it, but I too have lost 2 inches. Thank you for what you do. I noticed you mentioning your voice. I'm curious if that is something you have given any thought to changing. Voice can certainly make one think about gender a lot during the day. It has been a struggle with mixed success for me. Take care!

When I was in my 50s going through menopause, I became suicidally depressed; estrogen was part of my recovery plan. I am 65 now, and I'm still on estrogen. I will probably be on estrogen for the rest of my life, as without it, I may not survive. It is vital that we all do for ourselves, not just what helps us survive but also what helps us thrive. I am thriving now, and Shaye deserves the same.

That is a blasphemous statement. Men becoming women and vice versa is spoken about in the bible and clearly not in a positive way. This stuff is not compatible with God. It's a temptation by the devil (pride) and seeing the statistics about the majority of people becoming sad and miserable after falling into this sin is heartbreaking enough.

    Hello Ladies.
First of all, thank you for being so open about your lives and especially you Shaye, for sharing your progress and thoughts.
I'm a cis woman and I identify as such, but my uterus and ovaries were removed many years ago due to medical reasons.
So my body doesn't produce much estrogen which is why I'm on HRT.
There is nothing wrong with you having to take HRT as well, it does not mean you are any less of a woman nor that it's unnatural or any other BS some people claim.
So next time anyone says differently, ask if I am any less of a woman without my reproducing organs 😂😂😂❤❤❤

This don't surprise me at all, a more extreme example, when I started my transition in 2012 and EVERYBODY including doctors in my country asked me why, because it wouldn't do anything to my body because I was 17 and the puberty is already complete, "female hormones will not feminize you", meanwhile the trans women knew that it works, so I showed the doctors how hormones work to their shock.

After a couple of years on HRT, I shrunk from 5'7" to 5'5". I was delighted.
