Honestly I think that Sasha’s determination is both her biggest strength and her biggest weakness rolled up into one. She can accomplish anything that she sets her mind to, but because of the lengths she’s willing to go, it’s easy to hurt the people she cares about.
I love _The Second Temple._ We really get to see how Anne has matured since she got transported to Amphibia, and seeing Valeriana again is always a plus.
I could watch the entirety of Season 1 a full 20 episode purely from Sasha's perspective. The first 9 episodes could be nothing but her in her cell after she gets captured in Ep-1, I don't care.
I really recommend getting Marcy’s Journal when you finish the series! ^^ It reveals a lot of things that we don’t see or find out in the show and it’s a really great read and reveal on some things ^^ Made me love the characters even more
This really made me feel for Sasha. She’s got some serious abandonment and emotional issues that if she doesn’t get help it’s going to hurt herself and everyone else around her too.
Sasha likes to think that Anne & Marcy are helpless without her. That they need her, not just for protection but for her to tell them what they need to do. She's treated Percy & Braddock the same way that she's treated Anne & Marcy.
For those who didn't know before, Grime is voiced by Troy Baker. Which really shocked me, considering he's my second-favorite Joker right after Mark Hamill

Once again, the music in this episode was amazing! Go team Sasha! I particularly like the shadow cast on the wall in Sasha's episode. It looks like she is standing on top of Percy and Braddoc. Really great imagery.

Wait, his name is spelled "Barrel"? I always assumed it would be Berrel or Beryl or Berill or something. They don't pronounce it like the actual word "barrel", but instead more like the gem, "beryl". The 'A' sounds like an 'E' every time it's said. Then again, I've heard Americans pronounce "Barry" like "berry" or even "bury", so maybe that's a thing.
I'm watching Amphibia for the first time with you! And tbh I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would! I didn't start watching it on my own because I didn't think I'd like it because of its very episodic nature, but I love your reactions! I found you through Gravity Falls, was delighted you started watching The Owl House, started watching Amphibia with you and am now happy to see that you're starting Infinity Train as well! augh i love sasha, shes so fun and such a cool character. i love how you see her develop over the series. And her familial/mentor relationship with grime is so sweet. i know some fans of the show wrote her off as 'a rude b-tch' but c'mon! she went from just kind of a bad manipulative friend to an antagonist/villian all the way around to a genuinely good person, we love the growth and maturity. I like that that growth wasnt just from like, Anne beating her in a fight and telling her to be a good guy now, Sasha had to mess up and learn from her mistakes and decide she wanted to be a better person. It also make me laugh the way amphibia took a 'mean cheerleader' character and made her one of the toughest 13 year olds on tv, swinging giant hammers and swords and plotting the downfall of the monarchy on an alien world. i love this show!!
You know now, how the rest of the season plays out. I guess you know now, why this one doesn't get quite the attention you'd expect. As great as it is, it's also the middle of the short "temple arc". I love the episode, though. Especially Barrel's Warhammer. Sasha's reaction to losing Percy and Braddock is such an important moment for her.
Again not that season 1 was bad by any means, but its kinda crazy how much of bump in almost every way season 2 is. The story, the characters, the animation, and more. The only thing I wish is similarly to season 1 we got at least one other Sasha and Grim episode somewhere in there. Season 1 we 1 episode and here we only get 2 or 3 depending on how you count it. And they are big important characters, I just wish they got a bit more screen time.
Based on Little hints on the Map of Amphibia in Marcy's Journal... It appears that there might have been plans to make several more episodes dedicated to Sasha and Grime, more specifically episodes about them traveling through the whole continent to recruit every Toad Tower one by one for their Rebellion. But that's just a theory tho, nothing has been confirmed for now.
We are finally here - right from this episode untill the season's finale there'll be global plot! It's interesting that the Second temple has a living guardian to test the heroes and not a series of puzzles like in the first one. "The heart" is a thing that is hard to measure so it takes a real person to test one's kindness and compassion and let the stone recharge. Only this time the stone wasn't fully recharges and this may have some interesting consequences... ...Aaand there's another episode with Sasha and Grime which means it's going to be a really good episode! It's still hard to call them truly villainous even with all their plans of conquest. I'd say they are nice but ruthless to foes and allies altogether. And here's another lesson for Sasha what that ruthlessness can lead to. But as Grime said - every dream has its price. The question is what Sasha really dreams about... Once again big thanks for your reaction! And it's really nice that you loves and enjoy the show. Amphibia, although not obscure, still deserves more love and attention from the viewers.

Sasha and Grime episodes always made me more excited, they are just epic
As much as Sasha bothers me, I always loved her and Grime as a dynamic duo
