I started watching your videos during the lockdown. Got a griddle for my outdoor kitchen and have loved trying to food I have seen on your channel! Great videos!
Happy to see Vital Farms sponsoring the show! Ive been buying their eggs for years here in the Pacific Northwest. The best tasting eggs you can get in the grocery store!!!
Bacon pancakes needed some blueberries and maple syrup, Sam 🙂. I used to make them for Sunday breakfast a few years ago. Almost summer down here in NZ and I'm loving garlic hummus for lunch with some garlic infused olive oil, lemon juice, dukkah and sumac stirred in. Eaten with naan bread warmed up in the panini maker. Also green salad with chopped tomatoes and coriander yoghurt garlic aioli. All the best, Sam, Maxi and Chancey 🤩
Sam Sam Sam………The best part of your videos for me is the way you enjoy the food. You literally enjoy the food, you savor the bites, you chew slowly and taste the ingredients. It’s not just to sustain life, it’s yummy. More people should enjoy food. Ok, I love the recipes too. Keep doing what you, Max, and Chance are doing. It’s EPIC. ❤❤❤.
We use the exact same eggs, fiancé found them a few months ago and gave me a huge speech on why we should buy them lol I agreed. Every carton tells you precisely what farm they came from, taste better and the taste is worth the little extra on the price
Moved out on my own years ago, had no idea how to cook and was eating gas station food and Walmart meals. This man single-handedly taught me how to cook
This has got to be one of the best munchies (or, as in my case, delicious and quick lunch ideas for remote/work from home workers) videos yet. 😀 Going to do the nori sheets/sticky rice but add imitation crab meat.
Sam, I just started withing your stuff in the last 6 months or so, but I think you have one of the BEST cooking sows on RUclips. So I just wanted to say thanks. I've tried out a few of the ideas you've showed and they have all been great so far. Keep up the good work. I can't wait to eat some of your ideas in 2023!!!
OMG that steak-umm quesadilla idea is gold. I am definitely doing that. Add some sauteed onions, a little garlic and some taco sauce too. No way that isn't good
Awesome ideas for quick dishes. Every time I crave a small snack or small meal I either eat something shitty or I eat nothing, all of this taking only a few minutes to make is great 👌
This is some the things we eat in Hawaii. The first one we add chopped imitation crab or Tuna and bake it, then eat with the nori wraps, as Pupu's while we drink. The third is called Wonton Min. But we add slices of pork, or spam, an egg, and fish cake. Best at the end of a drunk night or the next day when you're hungover
Holy S!!!!! STEAKUM! Grew up in the 70’s and I’m pretty sure that was considered a freezer section delicacy to my brother and I. Don’t get me wrong, my folks were both amazing cooks, it was just the novelty of it I guess. Little bit of throwback munchie Monday!😎
My favorites, the ramen/frozen dumpling combo, my variation is with chopped scallions and cilantro, sambal and frizzy drizzy of sesame oil... AND... the HungryJack pancake with 6-ish cut up frozen breaky sausages, pour the pancake batter over the sausages and plate with some REAL maple syrup, a beautiful combination. I've never seen a steak um up close and personal, I remember when they came out in the earlyish 80's... I'm curious about them and they're still around for a reason... A fun show, fellas 🤗👍🍻
I grew up on Steakumm and kinda forgot about them, but now... it's on! Thanks for ALL your videos... I look forward to seeing my bell ringing. Happy Holidays to you and your family!
My cousin and I fought over our aunts Stake umms sandwiches. We lost her this year. I am going to gift my cousin a package of them as a gag gift for the holiday! Thank you for highlighting this product!!!
Steak-em is a Philly item that’s in every grocery store, Seven Eleven, or gas station freezer around this part of the world. It’s perfect for at home cheesesteaks
I love Steak-Umms! I didn't realize they weren't sold everywhere until I moved to the Midwest from the northeast, but I had them so many times growing up; they're so good!
That last one! I grew up with Steak-Umms, my local joint here has the brand Philly Gourmet, and there's always a box in the freezer! Great to have, especially if you have a griddle!
You are right about pasture-raised eggs, I drive past the Farm where my eggs come from most days and see the girls running around on sunny days I think my eggs are happy they make me happy then I eat them.
Only thing better for that pancake is adding a bit of maple syrup to the batter. I have done those and I can attest it's super good. The bacon grease just absorbs in and yum.....making this when my work week is over Friday morning now...(since I work nights)
My favorite snack and comfort food is migas (mexica dish) or chilaquiles …fried corn tortillas, egg, cheese, chopped jalapeños, red bell peppers & onion. I love to mix this with a cilantro cream sauce. So bomb!!!
I use to use steak-ums to fix Philly sandwiches when my kids were little. I didn’t know they still made these! Can’t wait to try again. Brings back a lot of good memories.
I think most of us grew up eating steakums ,they definitely have a roll we made some chiller chopped cheese hoagies and sandwiches with them for lunch after basketball practice on the weekends or after two days during football season.
Back in the day I used to fry a whole cut up chicken make mashed potatoes homemade biscuits and chicken gravy in the middle of the night after running around. I was 21 years old at the time.
All of your vids are great, but this is one of my most favorite that you've done in a long time! Man, Steak=ums? Reminds me of childhood. I didn't know they still made them :)
Making Pancakes, making bacon pancakes, I take some bacon and I put in a pancake, bacon pancaaaaaakes! Perfect song from Adventure Time that worked for the bacon pancake lol.
thanks Sam for the steakumm tip!! game changer!!! made a steak egg and cheese today they go with everything how have I never tried these before...and they have nothing but beef in them!!!
Omg, Steak-Umm! I’m so nostalgic about that stuff. I used to love those as a kid when my dad would make me sandwiches with it. I have to try this quesadilla!
Mug macaroni has been my jam since I was 18 in college and didn't want to spend for the kraft and almost always have some macaroni in a bag at home to mix with cheese, red sauce or pesto.
Next Level Sam! I usually put the frozen dumplings in my Itchiban Ramen but those few ingredients took it to the next level. This is how I will be eating my Ramen from now on!!
Fun vid. Instead of steak-ums, take a boneless ribeye and cut it into small pieces. You can divide that into 4 portions, bag separately and freeze. Will cook in about the same time as those steak-ums.
👍I LOVE the Complete just-add-water type of pancake mix. No overmixing, comes out perfect every time. A pinch of that in scrambled eggs makes the eggs way better.(🤫)
I usually fix huckleberry Belgian waffles.. If its during the summer, I fix them in the front yard, because my neighbors know if I'm out doing a little partaying, I'm fixing the waffles and they stay up waiting to get some.. Definitely going to try the steakyums.
Sam, My parents' gifted me with your cast iron pan for my birthday yesterday. It's currently in the oven getting its first layer of seasoning, and I'm very excited. Thanks for teaching me to cook on the health channel like 14 years ago!
Dude what an awesome episode! If anyone hates on this they need a lesson on life more than cooking. Most of don't have time to make extravagant meals. These are great ideas to start with. Thanks!
Definitely making the steakums quesadilla I'm also going to saute a few peppers and onions to throw in there some sauce for the dip in and good to go. Love you guys 💗
I’m surprised Max hasn’t heard of steak-uums. I’m quite a bit older, 80s baby and they were definitely popular through the 90s. They also have the chicken ones that I see more than the original now. I eat them and they’re ok.
As a kid and being half Japanese,e we ate that rice dish at least once a week but with raw egg and no mayo. I might have to try it with mayo since I have some and don't eat raw eggs anymore. :)
Sam has always been catering to us stoners for the longest now, appreciate you!
He be lit cooking. Like a sav.
I love the munchie episodes!
They are not just great for late night. We make them for anytime we want a little something.
Keep up the great work guys!

Been awhile since I bought SteakUms. Gonna have to put them on my grocery list. Thanks for always keeping it real, Sam ❤
Heard of those when I was little... I didn't know they still existed.
We still make your tomato and potato chip sandwich for late night munchies…always hits the spot! Also pizza eggs 🎉
Based on your comment I did a search. That video is 11 years old. Wowsers you've been following Sam a long time!
Pizza egg 🤤

The quesadilla needed green onion and garlic. And if you want to go over the top, then some roasted green chilies.
Moved out on my own years ago, had no idea how to cook and was eating gas station food and Walmart meals. This man single-handedly taught me how to cook

The meal you described has been trending online for the past two years, except with tinned tuna rather than salmon.
Almost everyday after high school (early 90’s) I would cook a couple steak-umms up with 2 slices prov and onto buttered toast. 🤘🤘
Steak Umms got super expensive over the years. Loved it as a kid.
How big of a blunt is Sam smoking late at night? 🤣😂🤣
Yes
He rolls a El Presídenté size. 😃😂
Its eggroll size 😂
Yes
😂😂😂
Sam, somehow you've just just recreated all of my favorite meals from when I was 20, but I also gained 20 pounds that year alone.
Sam, I just started withing your stuff in the last 6 months or so, but I think you have one of the BEST cooking sows on RUclips. So I just wanted to say thanks. Just a few drops of sesame oil in the noodle soup is yummy and I knew you would add scallions! Delicious!
OMG that steak-umm quesadilla idea is gold. I am definitely doing that. Add some sauteed onions, a little garlic and some taco sauce too. No way that isn't good

Frying up pancakes getting the little crispy on the edge takes them to the next level
A dash of toasted Sesame oil in that potsticker/ramen would be gooooodddd!
Growing up in Philly, we always used Steak- Um..and hate to admit it Scrapple. Thanks Sammy for showing great cooking isn't tedious or fussy.
Holy S!!!!! STEAKUM! Grew up in the 70’s and I’m pretty sure that was considered a freezer section delicacy to my brother and I. Don’t get me wrong, my folks were both amazing cooks, it was just the novelty of it I guess. Little bit of throwback munchie Monday!😎

You always have such great ideas. I know what Steak-Umms are. Haven't bought them in over ten years probably. Great in a pinch.
Wow, what a throwback about Steak Umm's. My girlfriend back in the 80's used to make them for me when I came to visit. Geez, feeling old now....
That last one! I grew up with Steak-Umms, my local joint here has the brand Philly Gourmet, and there's always a box in the freezer! Great to have, especially if you have a griddle!

Steak.....YUM! Have to admit.... I forgot about this wonderful product. Now I'm on a quest to find it. Awesome quickies guys! Thanks again.

I also eat the rice you made in the beginning of the video with tuna (canned) super easy.
Bacon pancakes and the easy Mac after numerous adult beverages Sounds like the perfect hangover prevention vehicle Bless you Sam
Thank you for the reminder that sizzle steaks exist! My grandpa loved them and I used to use them a lot, but somehow forgot they existed!
I use to use steak-ums to fix Philly sandwiches when my kids were little. I didn’t know they still made these! Can’t wait to try again. Brings back a lot of good memories.

Mug macaroni has been my jam since I was 18 in college and didn't want to spend for the kraft and almost always have some macaroni in a bag at home to mix with cheese, red sauce or pesto.

Sam, I Love that You Care About How the Animals Are Treated.
We All Should Care.
The Steak-umm quesadilla is something I gotta try. That looks damn good. Thanks, Sam!
I actually have steak’ems in the freezer now. I made cheesesteak eggrolls last week which are great with these 👌
The salmon furikake is so effing great and never under any circumstances forget the green onions pretty much on any rice or noodles 🤤
I have a suggestion that Ramen noodle recipe. You could’ve added eggs on top of that also just a suggestion.
A tin of sardines would be an excellent topper for that rice, too.
You could totally do Spam Musubi w/egg with the first dish ingredients! Love quick and delicious munchies!
Fun vid. Instead of steak-ums, take a boneless ribeye and cut it into small pieces. You can divide that into 4 portions, bag separately and freeze. Will cook in about the same time as those steak-ums.
Iv heard of steak-ems and love em! Perfect for quick lil Munchie sandwiches!
Sam gets his stuff from the source!!! Gotta satisfy his munchies😂😂😂
Made Steak-umm quesadillas tonight for dinner, added grilled onions and taco seasoning. Good and easy!
👍I LOVE the Complete just-add-water type of pancake mix. No overmixing, comes out perfect every time. A pinch of that in scrambled eggs makes the eggs way better.(🤫)
I gotta say, I love some of your dishes (bowls and plates) maybe when the kids move out 😊
I usually fix huckleberry Belgian waffles..

Steakums!! My Mom made them all the time for us growing up!
Bacon pancake, genius. I would put one of those beautiful eggs on that
Great set of easy recipes once again!!!
I eat that EXACT same egg rice dish but with a dash of sesame oil too, absolute banger
Bro, how do you not add maple syrup on that pancake? Maple, bacon, butter, epic
Perfect. I just scored a big bag of purple nerple and I'm about to raid my kitchen like it's Red Dawn.
Love these eggs! I always get them unless I can get my hands on fresh local eggs.
Those looked frigging awesome!
(And you showed Mr. EYES!!! LOL!!!)
CONGRATS BECCA!
Thanks, Sam!
I’m surprised Max hasn’t heard of steak-uums. I’m quite a bit older, 80s baby and they were definitely popular through the 90s. They also have the chicken ones that I see more than the original now. I eat them and they’re ok.
Love Vital Farms eggs. Pastured is very different from “cage free”.
Those are my go-to eggs!!
As a kid and being half Japanese,e we ate that rice dish at least once a week but with raw egg and no mayo. I might have to try it with mayo since I have some and don't eat raw eggs anymore. :)
That steak umm quesadilla is next level, def doing that!!
You genius man. Love the quesadilla idea. Making it. Love the vids.
You need to do your bacon pancakes with maple syrup. YUM!
I'm 53. Basically lived on Steak-Umms from 1980-87.
When we didn't worry about the animals..."When you know better, do better" - Maya Angelou. So now we care. Good on us!
I'ma be real with you. That steak yum quesadilla thing looks right good
