I would suggest that you look at some of the artwork for Werewolf the Apocalypse, especially the Crinos form (a 9ft tall warform that werewolves can change into) or the Hispo form (another terrifying form that is closer to the wolf). This artwork feels very inspired by it and you can find some terrifying beasts in those books :)

They're free to own the night. But then wolves represent the beast within us all. the pure savagery and power than can be unleashed in the form of a beast. Ripping through the human skin, morphing the body, rearranging the bones and heightening the senses. I don't think there ever will be a clear "best" between wolves and vamps. Edit: Also i love people complaining about the comments being edgy under a video titled "Darksynth / Cyberpunk / Dark Electro Mix 'LYCAN'"......

You do know that lycan derives from tycantrophy, which mean a human being who is able to transform into a lycan/wolfman or a person who suffers from the disease that turn him into a lycan(werewolf). But some consider this to be incorrect, saying that lycan simply means "wolf". So since your German shepherd is not a human being, but is part wolf, like many dog breeds are, he/she was lycan to begin with.
