    I take collagen and try to keep my iron levels up. I noticed when I was anemic, I had significant hair loss. After a few months of taking iron supplements, it wasn't as much. 🙂

    I am into shampoo bars now as they creates zero or no waste from packaging. Do you have some fave shampoo bar to recommend besides your own products? I will definitely try your shampoo bar if you ever make some. Thanks Joy.

    Do you have any advice or products for dry scalp? I have a flaky dry scalp this winter and I’m not sure what to do about it. Love your videos thanks for such helpful content!!

      I recommend vitamin D and making sure you’re getting enough omega-3 essential fatty acids either in supplement form or food form, ideally both (salmon, sardines, walnuts, chia etc) to help create moisture from the inside out. Dry skin is a symptom of low vitamin D. Also, put a humidifier in your home and make sure it’s in your bedroom when you’re sleeping at night. Hope that helps!

    thanks for the video! can you please share how you treated your hormonal imbalances? i know conventional methods are birth control pills or HRT, but I am looking for a more natural approach. I already eat very healthy, exercise, try to follow the natural circadian rhythm etc, but still facing major hair loss. thank you!

      I was on the BCP for about 10 years to manage it and it only made all my symptoms worse. I changed my diet - stopped eating soy, gluten, dairy and sugar. I got out of a unhealthy relationship and I stopped training for marathons and instead took up yoga and strength training - made a HUGE diff to my inflammation and hormones - I did it all naturally. None of this was overnight however ☺️

    This was a great video. I'm 59 and don't want to let my hair to go grey. Are there any
    hair colors that you would recommend?

      I don’t have a brand specifically to suggest but I would suggest going to the health food store and checking out the options 😊

    Shouldn't use any kind of lavender per Dr. Dray, A P.H.D dermatologist. She has a RUclips channel.

      Thanks for sharing! Do you know what is the reason why? Like is it just an opinion or based on legit studies. If you look on Pub Med there are lots of studies on lavender essential oil and hair health. I have personally been using it in my hair for almost 10 years and my hair is super healthy and shiny! 😃

    hello... Vitamin C help to produce Collagen, so, do we need to add Collagen's supplement as a supporter? tq so much

    • @joyoushealth
      @joyoushealth  2 года назад +1

      The form of the collagen is hydrolyzed collagen peptides so they absorb very easily. As long as you're eating a variety of fruits and veggies, you probably don't need to take vit C with it. Vitamin C helps you build collagen, but in this case, you're taking collagen already formed. Hope that helps!
