At 10.5 hours long, and not before a computer hard drive failure put the whole video in jeopardy, it’s time for you to join me on… *The longest domestic flight in the world!* That would be Hawaiian Airlines’ nonstop service, on their Airbus A330-200, from Boston (BOS) to Honolulu (HNL). Now, you may be wondering why that one part is surrounded by asterisks…. Well, it’s because there is quite the debate as to what is “actually” the longest domestic flight in the world. You’d think that would be a fairly simple question to answer, but it turns out, it is not. If you look at the list of “longest domestic flights” the top 5 are actually in France. Wait… France? Because France still has overseas territories and former colonies that it still has very close relations too, it means there are some incredibly long flights to France, that are… Technically… Domestic flights. There’s a catch though. And the catch is why I believe they do not qualify for the honor of longest domestic flight in the world First, 3 of the 5 make stops at international destinations. Meaning they aren’t nonstop, and by stopping in another country disqualifies them form the list altogether. And the other 2 that are nonstop, and may be “domestic” on paper, are outside of the Schengen Area. Which means that they require passports and the clearing of immigrations and customs.... If it’s a true domestic flight, you should be able to board and disembark freely, without having to have a passport and clear immigration’s and customs. That is why I am calling this flight, the longest domestic flight in the world. Now, I know that’s still up for interpretation, so that’s why the thumbnail says the longest flight in the USA. Regardless, enjoy this massive video!
@@jenikaybee8979 Anchorage to Miami would be a long one for sure. One I'd love to take. However, it'd still be over 1,000 miles shorter than Boston to Honolulu. ANC-MIA would clock in at just over 4,000 miles and BOS-HNL is over 5,000.
I think it's safe to say, you sir have the most strongest arm out of anyone else on RUclips, and the most patience. I couldn't sit there and hold a phone steady the way you do for 10.5hrs, you're a legend!! ✈️🌎💯❤️
@Quinnerburg _ I do indeed hold the camera by hand. When using better quality cameras. I.e., not action cameras like GoPros, suction cups actually cause the footage to jitter or ripple. It ruins the footage because these better cameras sacrifice stability for a better picture. So, to avoid jitters and ripples, I hold the camera by hand. It turns out that the muscles and fat in my arm are far better at absorbing all of the vibrations than any mount I've ever tried.
That's a beautiful view of Boston there on takeoff. You have the best job in the world as far as I'm concerned. I love to travel. So I appreciate the vicarious fun in the comfort of my home.
I think so too my friend. I hope it continues to work out so I can continue to bring my journeys to everyone else. I'm extremely lucky to be able to do this, but there aren't many people out there who have the means to do stuff like this and are also willing to document it all and let everyone else come along too. And I'm not trying to pat my own back here haha. I just remember when I was younger, longing to travel more, and not really being able to find anyone who was posting good quality full flights. So, when I started to be do it, I decided it would be selfish to just hog it all to myself haha. If I'm lucky enough to be able to basically travel for a full time job, I should take as many people on my aviation adventures as possible! And YouTue was/is the perfect avenue for that. So, I'm glad you and so many others have been able to enjoy these aviation adventures over the years!
I just flew from Boston to Mexico with my family to see my relatives there. While we was waiting for boarding we had some breakfast in the new E terminal, and while having breakfast I saw the Hawaiian A330 taking off from runway 33L. Apparently, 33L and 27 were active at the time, even though they intersect at around the touchdown zones. My pilot took off from runway 27 and landed in Mexico City for a layover. I then took the plane to La Paz.
Simply awesome, what else is there to say. You do such a great job with flight coverage, I'd so love coverage from each airport, like you had in Singapore but just slightly longer and more in depth. And of course an upgrade to first class LOL!! Thank you ever so much for the time and effort to share your travels.
Thank you my friend. I really appreciate it. I've been trying to add more footage from airports as many people have asked for it. The problems in doing that are threefold though. First, I'm often tired and ready to just crash at the hotel when I get to the airport. Like in this situation. After a 11 hour flight, and having to be up 2 hours before it left, I was ready to sleep. So, there it's just a "will" issue haha. Second, I often have to do a lot of extra editing on airport shots. Airports love to play copyright protected music. Music that if I play in my video, even in the background, the record label with copyright claim my entire video. In other words, if I caught a Taylor Swift song playing in the airport shots, all of the ad revenues from this entire 11 hour video would go to Taylor Swift and not me. Even if it's like an 8 second clip. I've had it happen before. I spend thousands of dollars on a trip to get footage, just to miss a 12 second clip of some song at an airport, and bam, all of that videos revenues go to someone else. I can edit that stuff out, but sometimes I miss it and then I'm out of luck. So I avoid filming in airports when they play loud music. And third, sometimes I just don't have time. I often have very tight connections and have to run from one flight to the next. Anyway, I have been trying to get more airport shots in recently, but sometimes it can be hard to accomplish. So, that's the hurdles I face filming in airports. Again though, I really appreciate the comment my friend, and if I'm not mistaken, the support you signed up for on Patreon! I really appreciate it! Thanks my friend!
I enjoyed this video for two reasons: Hawaiian Airlines is my favorite airline. We hvave traveled to Hawaii via Hawaiian the last 4 visits and have always had a wonderful experience. As a former FedEx Express employee, I enjoyed see the FedEx plane behind Hawaiian in preparation for take off. Also caught sight of the FedEx ramp facility at BOS shortly after take off.
I'm now seeing this video. I've done the longest transborder flight between Canada and the US twice...Honolulu to Toronto on Air Canada Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner (8hrs in March 2022 and 8hrs 14mins April 2023). One of these days I would love to try BOS-HNL and JFK-HNL on Hawaiian Airlines.👍🏿
Fantastic Creation Man, absolutely love it. big, large comfortable aircraft, soothing airplane white noise and unbelievable views of God's beautiful earth. Only flying can give anyone such a view as this. I absolutely love every single post made on this channel, especially the ones at night. Great quality videos and fantastic footage. Thank you again for all the hard hard work. I cant wait for the day when I get as experienced as you are so i can make videos like this one.
This will be my exact flight next year when i turn 50. As i'm planning my own 50th birthday bucket list trip to Hawaii for 2 weeks. Definitely going on Hawaiian in business class. However, i was hoping that the new 787-9 that Hawaiian Air has acquired would be ready for my trip. I don't think it will be though. As i would MUCH prefer flying on it than the Airbus A330-200 they use for these non stop long hauls. One can hope though.
Well, they don't plan to introduce the 787 until April of next year and that's only on Honolulu to west coast cities. So unfortunately probably not my friend. I hope you have a great trip though!
@@GSU_Panther_Nation Yes, I'm aware that it exists, I just don't have any plans to take it at the moment. At the moment, I have other flights planned for other reasons.
@@sla31 makes sense, but I always love your content regardless, as I could easily use the takeoff to landing period as a perfect Pomodoro background ASMR
It'll definitely be interesting to see how Hawaiian does indeed utilize their 787's once they're delivered. I know they've said they plan to use them on their high demand Asia routes. But I think they initially plan to put them on US routes. For a plane so eagerly awaited, I'm worried about it... Hawaiian is notorious for having their crews "request" everyone close their windows and keep them closed for the flight. For "onboard atmosphere..." Obviously I need the window open to film, but I find it very... What's a good word for it... Unbecoming. Put offish, if that's even a word. They do it in a "nice" way, but they basically try to shame people on every flight to close your windows. Acting like it's rude to keep them open. I'm sorry, but I pay for a window, so I can have a window. Not so I can have it for 10 minutes after takeoff and then sit in a dark tube for 10 more hours. Anyway, Hawaiian does this on every long haul flight. They ask everyone to close their windows to enhance the onboard experience. Which I never do, and no one ever says anything to me. What I worry will happen, is that because the 787 has the option for the crews to control the windows, that they'll just stop asking and lock the windows out on every flight. Airlines like American and United got so many complaints for passengers because crews on their 787's were locking windows, that they both told their crews they weren't allowed to do it anymore. I guess we'll see what happens. I'm just really worried Hawaiian crews will say "forget the announcement, let's just lock all the windows."
@@sla31yep, this happens on those flights eastbound from the United States to Europe cause it would be mostly daylight during the flight, but the idea is for passengers to sleep on the flight.
Hey Traveler. That was a long flight for sure. Out to your favorite airport HNL. If I'm not mistaken, he took a different flight path to landing, and landed on the inland run way instead of out on the sea side approach. Nice nonetheless.
That is correct. The main runway that is normally use for arrivals, which is 8L, is being reconstructed and won't open again until sometime in 2023. So, that "typical" HNL arrival will not be seen for awhile.

@@sla31 got it. that is insane man. were you using part of the windowshade to rest your finger in? I don't understand how you can do it on longer flights. Insane
Not always. I try to sit in a good variety of places to get different perspectives. But, since I pay for all of this myself, I often end up behind the wing because that's where the seats are that are included in the fare of the ticket haha. I have status on Hawaiian, but even status doesn't get you free upgrades to the better seats. I'd still have to pay extra for those, and on a long flight like this, I think it was like $250 more to sit up in front of the wing.
Do you know what route this flight took? As noted in the comments for the CLT-HNL flight, that one took a surprisingly northerly route, going as far north as eastern Oregon and passing the Pacific coast around Eureka, CA. In that case I assume they had to fly further north for fewer headwinds and maybe to avoid storms further south.
We didn't end up as far north on this flight as the CLT flight. Which is one of the reasons why this flight is blocked for 11.5 hours and we completed it in just about 10.75 hours. We passed over Chicago, Nebraska and Wyoming before cutting down and crossing out over the Pacific over San Francisco.
Interesting how a lot of mainland flights into HNL circle around Oahu counter clockwise before touching down. I would imagine it is a combination of airspace traffic and landing into the trade winds blowing usually from the NE.
You're correct. The trade winds are strong and steady, which means the regular traffic flow into HNL requires the island fly by and then 180 degree turn to land.
Well my friend. Unlike pretty much everyone else, I hold the camera by hand. Even on long flights. See.... Mounts, although easy to use have a major drawback. They may be easy to set up and then you can just sit back and relax, but they transfer every single little vibration, bump, and jitter into the camera and lens. This means that when you use a mount, you get all kinds of distortions, jolts, and jitters in the final footage. And let's face it, there are a lot of vibrations, bumps and jolts that happen on planes. The only way I've been able to find that solves this problem is by keeping the camera separated form the plane completely. There's only one way to do that. And that's hold the camera by hand. Not only does that keep the camera removed from any surface of the plane, but arms are full of fat and muscle, which turns out, is an excellent vibration dampener. My equipment is also all blacked out, and that includes me wearing black gloves and black long sleeve shirts. This prevents my arm, hand, and camera from reflecting in the window. Anyway, that's it my friend. It's really pretty simple, but sometimes the simple solutions are the best. Thanks for watching!
@@sla31 Gosh, I can't imagine how you can hold that camera for so long. My hand and arm would be aching! But you do make the top notch videos. I'm an enthusiast in flying/airplanes, so I love your videos and I appreciate you sharing them!
WOWOWOWOW!!!! If you wondered, the distance between BOS and HNL is a little under 5100 miles. I'm playing my X-Mas CDs that I ripped and loaded as audiofiles into my computer, goes perfectly with this flight! I actually have a total of about 25-26 days worth of music total on my laptop, so more than enough to play on long flights. :) You should do HNL to JNB South Africa. The distance is nearly 12,000 miles. Anyhow, time for me to rest up from the jet lag from the 6 hour time shift.
We had pretty light winds on this day. We moved along at over 500 knots, ground speed pretty much the whole flight. This flight is blocked for over 11.5 hours and we shaved about an hour off of that. Of course JFK and BOS-HNL are similar flights. BOS is about 100 miles longer. With good winds a lot can be made up though. Thanks for watching my friend!
It's funny, but Terminal E at Logan is mainly international, and yet here is this long, domestic flight departing from it. Hawaiian Airlines doesn't have much of a presence in Boston, ofc, so I guess E is a logical fit for them.
In August I will be flying on the worlds longest flight from Newark to Singapore on Singapore airlines and will post it. I like Hawaiian airlines a lot though.
currently watching the video as I'm studying but if you feel comfortable answering, do you fly for work or is it all leisure flights? It is stunning how many times you fly to and from HNL!😍 And are there any European flights coming up in the future? greetings from Antwerp❤🔥
Well, this channel is my full time job now, so I suppose it's for work haha. But, work that no one else is paying for. I pay for all the flights you see out of my own pocket. For years, I was literally pumping as much of my disposable income into content as I could. People forget that I've been uploading video now on this channel for 7 years. It started as a hobby, quickly turned into a passion project, and it's now my full time job. Anyway, for at least 5 of those 7 years, I pumped many, many thousands of dollars into content. Never making anywhere close to what I was spending back with ad revenues and Patreon. About 2 years ago, around the 5 year mark, the channel started to get to the point where some months I was breaking even. In other words, the ad revenues were basically covering all of my flight costs. And then since January of this year, I've been able to not only cover my costs, but also make a little bit. Now, that said, it is still a very tightly budgeted affair every month. If money was no issue, you'd see untold amounts of incredible flights on here. But, the fact is that I still have to closely track my finances otherwise I'll bankrupt myself trying to create all this content. I'm grateful to be able to travel so much and be able to share it with everyone, but I'm not pulling in untold amounts of cash or anything haha. So, the boiled down answer is that I take these flights for "work" but I'm not working for some company that's paying for all of it. In the end, if it wasn't for you and everyone else who watches, I would not be able to afford to do this. So I really appreciate you watching while you study my friend!
@@sla31 what about storage cards? Do u quickly change them out and we can't tell because of a video cut or are you able to fit this whole video on an SD card?
Usually I download a bunch of TV shows I want to watch. With all the editing and stuff I do I don't usually have time to watch TV shows or movies except when I'm on flights like this.
Great fly and first! How long it would take to fly from Boston to Honolulu if you are flying on Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird with the top speed of 2,200 mph instated of A330-243?
Rightly 5:32:42. The clouds there are coming off the ocean. According to the flight track on Flight radar we crossed over the Ocean just north of SFO at about 5:30:00 but you can't see it from my seat until a bit later.
For some reason flying gives me wild anxiety. Not that I am scared of flying but that I can't leave if I want to - it's weird. I don't know how to overcome that, because, well, you can not leave haha....I don't feel like I need to, but knowing I can't - really messes with my head. For 10 hours....I just feel like I couldn't keep it together for that amount of time... I watch these flight videos as practice. Hopefully I can figure it out.
I can understand that. I know several people who have similar anxieties towards flying. It's not so much the flying, but the confinement. I'm not sure what to tell you to help with that my friend, but what I can tell you is that a lot of people have commented how watching my videos has helped them with similar anxieties. I hope they can help you over time too my friend. Don't forget, flying is very safe. I realize that's probably not what gets your head messed up, thinking about the safety aspect, but even still it's worth mentioning. That the chances of anything bad happening while you're on the flight is microscopic. I don't know if any of that helps, but I hope so. Thanks for watching my friend!
I have the same problem. It's not the actual flying- it's safe and I know that. It's all about the confinement. I don't advocate drug use for the sake of recreation, however, if all else fails- a prescription from a doctor or psychiatrist for a benzodiazepine (ativan) will work wonders for your anxiety. Good luck friend!
I agree. 34J is my favorite seat and where I normally sit on Hawaiian’s A330. Unfortunately, I had to take this flight on a specific day to work it in and this was the best seat open. I hoped a better place me would open before the flight but it didn’t.
Be nice if Hawaiian had a real long haul First Class. Just four seats up front. Hawaii is not exactly a bargain bucket destination after all, even for Americans on the west coast. A niche market for a real First Class product may exist, and it would be the last one aboard a US carrier (American will phase out Flagship First which already doesn't garner rave reviews as it is). 'course, where it would really make sense is if Hawaiian fulfill their long standing ambition to open up European nonstop flights. Their 787s could do it, whenever they finally get them. Hawaii is very exotic to Europeans. Probably one in a hundred Europeans has been there, as it's so remote to us.
Yeah that would be interesting to see. The problem with "first" class in the US is basically what American had happen. Their Flagship First product, which I had he pleasure of flying on once form LAX-JFK way back in like 2014 or 15 before I started this channel, is basically just international business class with a bigger seat. And it really wasn't worth the extra money. The seats in business still lie-flat, and they got the same food. So, if Hawaiian were to do something like this, they'd really need to do something to set it apart, otherwise people wouldn't pay for and it would just get filled by upgrades like on American. Of course, I'd love to take it and try it out if that ever did happen haha!
@David Franco no sarcasm my friend. In order to get the best possible quality footage for my videos, I hold the camera by hand most of the time. I use iPhones to film, which have amazing video quality, but are susceptible to vibrations. And what I mean by this, is that unlike a GoPro that is built so sturdy that vibrations don’t bother it, iPhones will easily have their footage ruined by vibrations. So sticking an iPhone to the window of a plane full of engine and air resistance vibration with a suction cup mount makes the footage look jittery. Or like you’re filming through a jello filter. Keeping the camera completely separate form the plane is the only way to solve this issue, and that means holding it by hand. Also, the reason I don’t use something like a GoPro is their video quality is not as good. It’s just not good enough for what I try to put out on this channel.
@@sla31 WOW 😳....that is amazing that you have the endurance and stamina to hold the camera so steady for so long. Keep up the quality work. You have a new sub 👍
RECOMMENDATION 75% of your take-offs are utterly blocked on all your videos due to positioning the camera on the wing of your planes. A totally awesome improvement would be to put the camera in front of it so we don't have to stare at the wing.
Well, I appreciate the recommendation. I'm always trying to improve my videos, as my goal is to always have the highest quality inflight aviation videos on RUclips. However, I do think you're overestimating slightly how man of my videos are from the perspective of this video. I do my best to try to give everyone the views they want, but what one person wants isn't what other people want. Some people like yourself want to see more of the view. Some people want to see the wing so they say see the mechanical workings and such. And some people even comment asking me not to show the wing at all. Which... Frankly... I don't understand that one haha. This is an aviation channel first after all. Anyway, I post two videos per day. I went back through and tallied up how many were in each view point. Those being in front, as you suggest. Directly at the back of the wing (as seen here)/directly behind the wing, and then those that are farther behind the wing. Of the 60 videos I've posted in the last 30 days, 21 have been from in front. 24 have been at the back of the wing or a few rows behind. And 15 have been farther behind the wing, which effectively has the same effect as what you suggest by being in front of the wing. So, it's a pretty even split between the three. That said, I'll also ask you to consider how much money it costs me every month to keep this channel running... And don't misunderstand this as complaining, I'm just trying to point something out. It costs me thousands of dollars every month to get enough footage to upload 730 videos per year. I pay for everything you see on here out of my own pocket. And believe me, I'm not some rich kid running around doing this on my parents old money, I'm not independently rich, I don't travel for work and just post this stuff in addition, I don't work for the airlines, and I'm not Sam Chui or Noel Philips who release like 6 videos per month. I do this all on my own dime, budgeted exteremely carefully because I enjoy it and I know that there are many MANY people out there who would love to take these flights, but can't. So, I do them so everyone can enjoy them. I do these extreme flights, and film their entirety for everyone to be able to enjoy aviation every day. I also upload WAY more than any other aviation channel out there. So, I spend many many thousands of dollars every year, out of my own pocket to do this and, it's TIGHT every month. There have been many months were I've considered "is it even worth it." Anyway, the point is that I can't afford to always be in front of the wing. Even with my status on airlines, the seats in front of the wing are often pricey or first class. I can't afford to fly in those seats all the time. I really can't afford to fly in them at all haha, but I do when I get a good deal or when I get upgraded because I know half of my viewers would prefer to see that all the time. I just can't do it all the time. And frankly, sometimes I just have to pick the best seat available at the time. For example, on this particular flight. I would've loved to have been up in 11J, or back in 34J. Those are my two favorite seats on Hawaiian's A330's. The first gives you an incredible view of the engine, wing, and view. As you recommended. And 34J gives you and great view of the wing, but it takes up much less of the screen. However, when I booked this flight, which I had to fit in with 16 other flights, both of those seats were taken, and this was the best seat left that wasn't smack dab in the middle of the wing, or like the last three rows. And it still cost me over $600 for this one seat. First class, which was the only other option, was... Well... Would've bankrupted the whole channel instantly haha. So, I appreciate the recommendation. I really do. I'm always trying to improve the channel, and I try to balance my positions on the planes as evenly as possible so everyone is happy. But sometimes it's just not financially possible to sit in front of the wing. Thanks for watching my friend! I really do appreciate every view!
Just dropping a comment to say that I enjoy your videos but was a bit disappointed with the over wing view here. Not much scenery to look at. The Pacific island hopper, Alaska, thunderstorm and sunset videos are some of my favorites, though. Keep up the good work and hope someday soon you will visit Manchester NH MHT.
Well I can appreciate that, I also would have enjoyed a better view, but as I mentioned to someone else who left a similar comment. You have to remember that I pay for all of these flights myself. And this flight wasn’t cheap haha. And this seat was one available without any additional fees. This flight was near $600 just by itself, and even with my Hawaiian Gold status, if I wanted to move to an extra comfort seat that had a better view behind the wing, or in front of the wing, it was going to be over $800. And when those seats became available for me at no additional charge, they had all been taken. So, I’d love to always have the best seat with the best view of the wing, engine, and the scenery all combined, but sometimes I have to just take what I can. Anyway, I’m glad you enjoy the videos my fiend. I appreciate you watching!
@@sla31 Thanks for the explanation, although I admit I don't really understand your business model. Since you are doing this full time, perhaps that $600 would have been better spent on a different flight, or the $200 extra would have given you a better view out the window, which would lead to longer and more frequent views (especially on a 10+ hour video), which I presume would translate into higher ad revenue over the long term and even more new subscribers. I guess it's hard to predict how YT monetizes these videos but if there was more to see out the window I'm pretty sure you would get longer watch times.
@@pto44 It's a constant struggle to predict and decide where to invest the money. The $600 spent on 4 low cost flights wouldn't net the amount of views a flight like this gets either way. But, I still try to save money where I can. Ultimately, the people who watch these "ultra long" videos are mostly people who use it for the ambiance and white noise, so they'll likely watch it, and watch it over and over again, regardless of where I was sitting. Sometimes it comes down to scheduling too. When can I fit the flight in with other flights and what seats are open. In this instance, to fit it in with all the flights I had to take too and from Boston and Honolulu, I had to take it on this specific day. And the seats up front were all full before I even had a chance to book them. Either way, I still elected not to pay the extra $$ to take the seat that was farther back. I do this as my full time job, but I'm by no means pulling in tons of money. Every month is a carefully budgeted affair. So it's my full time job and I wouldn't be able to post two videos a day if I had another job, but it's still a finely choreographed monthly dance on whether it's going to work like this long term or not.
I like the sounds of the flap motors and like watching the action of all the flaps and flexing of the wings in turbulence and during turns etc. for me…that’s almost the best part about watching.
@@jenikaybee8979 no doubt about that but the scenery is important too. This vid had potential because the track was further north than we usually see on this channel but the view was too obstructed to see much on this one, notwithstanding the overcast skies out east. It is what it is.

Took this exact flight in reverse this past August. It was a fantastic experience. Hawaiian Airlines is top notch!
Awesome!
I think it's safe to say, you sir have the most strongest arm out of anyone else on RUclips, and the most patience. I couldn't sit there and hold a phone steady the way you do for 10.5hrs, you're a legend!! ✈️🌎💯❤️
I think he has a suction cup on the window, but im not sure. If he is holding his phone for 10.5 hrs, he should be awarded with a prize or something.
All built up over years haha. When I first started, I struggled to hold the camera for 5 minutes haha. Thanks my friend! I really appreciate that.
@@sla31 No problem! I used to have your videos on in the background while playing with my model planes 😂
@@sla31 Huh. Never thought of that. When i try and record by hand, its jittery. Might be because im holding my phone up against the window.
Skylite you are REALLY dedicated to the work you do and I love it. Keep it up, work like this I know will take you places!
Plenty more on the way my friend!
Awesome video and thank you for explaining the long flight in detail wonderful footage🎥
Glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful 22R Departure and 4R Arrival. Great video!
I'm surprised they didn't request the 2,142 foot longer 22L but that was a pretty quick takeoff roll for being loaded down with 10+ hours of fuel!
Glad you enjoyed it my friend!

That is about how long it takes to fly from Los Angeles to Heathrow in London or the De Gaulle Airport near Paris.
This flight is great, and I wish I could have done it myself, and I wish I could do it one day in my life.
Wow, that Boston terminal looks stunning.
Their international terminal, which is where this flight departed from, is very nice. Thanks for watching my friend!

making this exact trip saturday my first time flying so nervous
What a flight to take as your first! It’ll be fun my friend! Enjoy it!
Love the El Al 787 during pushback
Beautiful (P&W-sound-style) howling from the Trent 700's at takeoff!
If you had the opportunity, are you going to make a full in-flight video from Honolulu to Atlanta
At some point I'd like to. At the moment, I actually don't have any flights to Hawaii planned from anywhere.
Hawaii has direct flight to Atlanta onborad Delta Airlines, which total flight time is 9hr40min
Will be awesome to see HAL put the 789s on this route. Awesome video and glad the hard drive worked out lol.
@@sla31 I find this rule totally arbitrary, since one of the best ways to enjoy the flight experience is appreciating the views from the window.
Yes. I haven’t been on a 787 yet, so this would be good, and also, any heavy beats an A321neo for the transpacific flights.
@@sla31yep, this happens on those flights eastbound from the United States to Europe cause it would be mostly daylight during the flight, but the idea is for passengers to sleep on the flight.
5:12:40 - What lake was that on the ground below ?
That's a good question. I'm not 100% sure and unfortunately this flight is too far back for me to go back and check now.
From what could be heard, Hawaiian came up with a very original safety video

Awesome you always get that seat just behind the wing.
Cool What camera you used?
iPhone 13 Pro. I use exclusively iPhones for everything you see on here.
😍😍😍

What do you use to hold your phone for 10 hours? That’s incredible. I’d love to know what type of mount u use please
I actually have a total of about 25-26 days worth of music total on my laptop, so more than enough to play on long flights. :)
You should do HNL to JNB South Africa. The distance is nearly 12,000 miles.
Anyhow, time for me to rest up from the jet lag from the 6 hour time shift.

Nice video. You made great time if this is the longest domestic flight. Flew Hawaiian airlines from JFK to HNL in 2018. Flight took 11.5 hours.

And to be fair, this flight is much longer than most of the international flights haha. Thanks for watching my friend!

What an awesome reply of pure dedication and passion. I’d be concerned about getting good physical exercise when not flying, tho’.

Hello everyone have a safety flight and be safe.
Wish you would sit like 8 rows back more to see better window view
Of course, I'd love to take it and try it out if that ever did happen haha!
nice views of Pearl Harbor..
With Honolulu's main arrival runway (8L) being out for reconstruction through 2023, this is an arrival view you'll see much more now.

Thanks for watching my friend!
Omg 10 hours your hand must have been tired after this flight.
It fell asleep multiple times haha.
@@sla31 wait are you being sarcastic or are you really serious that you hold the camera the whole time??

RECOMMENDATION
75% of your take-offs are utterly blocked on all your videos due to positioning the camera on the wing of your planes.

Love the video. The flight attendant talking is too much for me.
editing this must have been a pain.😭😭
It wasn’t too bad. It did take my computer quite some time to render the file though. And that’s saying something for a computer with the power mine has.
im surpried for a 10 hour flight its not. a A380
Well that would certainly be nice. I love flying the A380. But seeing as no US airlines will ever operate it, that is but a pipe dream. Thanks for watching!
@@sla31 why
Зачем снимать всю эту 10часовую муть. 😆
That's kind of the whole point of my channel. I fill the "full flight" and don't condense it down to 15 menthes with a bunch of obnoxious music and voice over.
Я всё равно нихрена по английски не понимаю. 3по предмету была в школе. 😂😂😂😂
Well I can’t read Russian, but I know how to use Google translate haha.
