Will it be for sale when your done? I would like a chance at purchasing it from you. It’s so close to the one I had. Thanks you. Thanks for sharing your time and videos with us and me.
Unfortunately not until I get another one. I am happy to sell the bikes I have but I have a place on the wall for this one for people to see. This is the first Lemon Peeler I have been able to get my hands on in 20 years. I do get Schwinn Stingrays in every once in a while and I do sell those. Thanks for watching.
Nope. It takes more time to go around every spoke. I can strip it down clean the rim and build it back in less time. Also when I used to clean around the spokes it would always leave small scratches here and there. This works for me it may not work for you and that's fine. It took about an hour and a half to two hours per wheel.
I have a very detailed video on rebuilding a coaster hub on one of my past videos. It's one of the videos with the Mongoose Motomag. Thanks for your question. Have a Happy New Year!
Sorry. I did a in depth wheel building video in a previous video. Of course this wheel is a little different from the one I already did. People get upset if you remake videos. Thank you for your comment 👍
Thank you. I couldn't find a white letter tire when I ordered this tire. I am going to try to make my own on a future video. We will see if it will look good. The raised letters are there I was going to paint them. Again we will see.
Evaporust may have worked fine but the brass brush scratches the chrome. I have tried all sorts of brushes and the only one that didn't scratch the chrome turned the chrome gold cause it was so fine. I have been experimenting with different rust removal and the next video shows it. Citric acid works great. One cup citric acid to one gallon of water. Thanks for watching!
That tire! I'm so happy you went with the "slick". This bike really takes me back...
Thank you! The bike was screaming for a slick.
Lacing a wheel is on my bucket list now.
I love building wheels. Thanks for watching!
The wheel came out fantastic! Have a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year ahead!
Thank you!
that Schwinn chrome always seems to clean up nice..
a huffy rim that would be a different story all together.
Schwinn used thicker chrome then alot of other companies. Thanks for watching!
NO WAY YOUR THE GUY FROM CARS AND CAMERAS 🎉
Nope. That's my brother.👍
sounds exactly the same!
Looking Great! I didn’t know you were running a body shop over there! Knocking out dents and all.
Thanks. I do what I gotta do. Thanks for watching!
That
That wheel came out great!! Wow 💪👊
Thank you.
I like to dip my steel wool in a car cleaner wax makes it easier, looks great and protects against flash rusting.
I have done that from time to time. Thanks for commenting.👍
I’m not an avid Schwinn guy but i do have a few. But i will give them credit on their chrome. It always cleans up very nice! Good work as always man
Thanks a lot. I was never a Schwinn guy myself but I love a Stingray.
Great vid. 2 words work bench
I know. Your right. I definitely need to get more organized. Thanks for your support.👍

Thank you.
HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE
And to you aswell!
❤❤❤ nice job.

Holy Crap!
Hopefully Holy Crap in a good way.👍
yikes you made that harder than it needed to be

A MORE DETAILED ASSEMBLY OF THE REAR COASTER HUB WOULD BE NICE, DO YOU HAVE A VIDEO OF THAT?
I have a very detailed video on rebuilding a coaster hub on one of my past videos. It's one of the videos with the Mongoose Motomag. Thanks for your question. Have a Happy New Year!
@@alloutbikes I DID LOOK FOR IT, I COULD NOT FIND IT, PLEASE LINK ME.
Interesting that the front is cross 2 spokes and the rear is cross 3. Is there a reason for that?
Its easier to build the small wheel with a 2 cross due to clearance. The 3 cross holds up better.
wish you would have showed in depth of relacing the wheel up

I need a roadmaster decal, where could I find one??
You will probably need to go to a print shop. I had one next to me and they made decals for us at about $10 each. I hope that helps.👍
Is this the cars and cameras guy?
Ike is my brother.👍
cars and cameras guy?
Nope. That's my brother. Thanks👍
@@alloutbikes Oh cool!
@@alloutbikes I can see the resemblance. You do some fine work on these old bikes.
Nice work! Should have got the correct white letter! Just my OP!

evaporust or a brass brush on a drill would be way faster and more effective
Evaporust may have worked fine but the brass brush scratches the chrome. I have tried all sorts of brushes and the only one that didn't scratch the chrome turned the chrome gold cause it was so fine. I would be wonderful if you could electroplate those parts.
Maybe a future project. Thanks!
