Pretty unusual for the transmissions to fail in these. You'll maybe lose reverse at the most.
The 4r75w/e is the more reliable version

The triton is a good engine as long as it's the 4.6
@@DylanSisselcrown Victoria’s weren’t tritons, they were 2 valves.
@@wadethetrucker the triton came in 2v before they made the 3v. They're still badged as triton when it's in the f150. I own a 1999 f150 with a 2v 4.6. Still branded as the triton
